My husband and I recently purchased a new Mitsubishi from Renn Kirby in Frederick, We hadn't bought a vehicle for several years and weren't sure what to expect. Our salesperson, John Gray is the reason we had a great experience. We already knew John from a previous car purchase, and he made the difference for us. The other people at Renn Kirby also did a wonderful job and made the transaction a smooth one. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle make a trip to Renn Kirby and be sure to ask for John Gray. He'll make your buying experience worthwhile.

Michael Acri and the whole team at Renn Kirby Mitsubishi,

Michael Acri and the whole team at Renn Kirby Mitsubishi, Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD, were great people to work with. The used 2020 Honda Pilot Touring AWD 8 Passenger v was the best buy and the team at Renn Kirby Mitsubishi made sure I received the best deal with expedited service. I highly recommend this location.

Satisfying buying experience

My experience was great, everyone was nice and professional and efficient, the process with other dealerships can take many hours but they had my deal, the detailing and running the vehicle to get a full tank of gas in no time. The manager came out to explain the great incentives and tax rebate that I could get if I took the lease option instead of financing on my new PHEV Outlander, he spent a lot of time with me and in the end I took the lease and saved thousands. This place is great, and the new facility looks amazing they did a great job.

Ask for Tyson he's great.

1st off Tyson was great, dealing with me and my step-dad who was a bit of a thorn in their side. I live an hour away and even though he was busy when I got there he made time for us, yes we had to wait but I knew when we got there he was possibly going to be busy. I was disappointed that my car had what I call a dummy key, no fob or anything to get into it which has proved to be a pain in the butt, and the fact I only got 1 key, being a used car, I realize this can happen but I'm worried about losing it. Being a single mom buying a key with a fob and getting it coded is an extra expense I don't want to take on. When we left they were going to contact us to set up a time to get the car pre-certified so I can get the 10year 100,000 Mile warranty and we haven't heard back yet. But it hasn't been a week. All the staff was super nice and I didn't feel uncomfortable there which for me is a huge deal.

Horrible experience

Really bad experience with this place. Clay was my salesman and he was not organized when we arrived, lots of standing around. The price negotiated price w/Dustin Himes and when paper work finally showed up the price was wrong, so they had to change it. The process took 2+ hours to get done. We asked if "ALL PAPERS WERE SIGNED" They said "YES" but weeks later got a bunch of papers in the mail they forgot to have us sign and we had to run around getting things notarized. They promised a second key & still hasn't delivered it. Tires for AWD car had significant issues, 2 tires matched, 2 didn't the gaps in tread depth was a concern to the AWD system. Lastly we bought this in Aug 2023 and the oil change sticker on car read Nov 2022. They ran it through an oil change then complained about me being difficult. Just overall poor experience.

We apologize for the negative experience you had. We take everyone's feedback seriously and we've already taken steps to address your specific concerns. The day you purchased the vehicle you requested we complete an oil change and tire rotation in-house, this work does take some time especially when there wasn't an appointment. But we're very sorry for the amount of time you spent waiting here. The Staff Member who neglected to print your Registered State's DMV documents while you were still in the building, has been written up, and I personally saw to it that you were compensated for the additional costs you incurred getting these out-of-state documents notarized. The key fob was sent to your home and tracking number confirms receipt. We're very sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the tires, unfortunately when One purchases a pre-owned vehicle, not every aspect of the car will be new. We've sent you reimbursement for half the costs you incurred fixing the tires to your satisfaction, in your home state. We have literally bent over backwards trying to rectify every grievance you brought us. We have taken care of everything you've asked us to do. We're devastated to see that all this effort on our part still doesn't earn more than one star, but sir, we desperately tried. We sincerely wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Theft of my sons money for something called Theft

I went with my son to purchase a used car. We were satisfied with the car but it needed a good cleaning the engine had dust and sand all over it. we asked to have it detailed. This was agreed to when we finally got to see the numbers there was a charge for some kind of theft? no good explanation was given and no literature provided this was a $600 charge. This is not required for sale of the car yet they would not remove it. Also the charge for them to process the paper work is ridiculous. We asked if they would not take the theft off would they install a new battery the sales men punched it into his computer as to make it so. My son agreed to purchase the car believing that the detail and battery would be done. The next day my son was told that the General manager would not replace the battery. The salesman did not make it clear that the G M had to approve this and that he was not there to do so. The sales man had us in his office for about 2 hours with him leaving several times for 10 + minuets at a time then coming back in going to his computer flipping through making comments but not proceeding with the sale. My son proceeded with the purchase satisfied that the theft would stay and the battery would be replaced and the car detailed. I would like to talk to Renn Kirby about this but have no way get InTouch not knowing where he can be reached. at this time We would be satisfied with getting the Theft money back.

Would definitely buy from again
