This was my first visit and the service was good, staff friendly and efficient. Liked the extra touch in the waiting lounge with the snacks.The mini muffins were good. Had a good experience. Glad to be back with this dealership

first - I'm writing a review that I'm not qualified to make! But you asked. second - nobody's perfect but I developed a feeling of trust for the people I met: Dean, then Paul, and then Nicole. third - Don't be afraid to say "you don't need that" and save the (your) customer unnecessary expense.

Amazing service

Easy, informative, hassle free.
After two decades of driving Hondas - we were cautiously interested in what Subaru had to offer. We wanted a car that was comparable in price, performance and safety. John Wagstaff took the time to share his knowledge - never did we feel that we were being sold to. We continued to shop other brands, Honda included - but kept coming back to Subaru. For all the bells and whistles that are included in a mid tier buy, the differentiators were becoming more obvious. The biggest value that we found was in the safety of the vehicle. Big thanks to John and Zac for their patience and flexibility in working with us.

Quick and easy
We are owners of our 6th Subaru, I have dealt with 2 other Subaru dealers and wanted to avoid the hassle everyone experiences-the long wait when purchasing a car. We paid our first visit to Haldeman to choose the model and color of the Forester. Our next meeting was one week later when the agency called to tell us they had located and now had the Subaru we wanted. Paper work and loan papers were quickly completed and we were able to transfer items from the old car into the new. Our salesman Al Fonseca was so knowledgeable in all areas that needed transfer such as insurance so that we felt fully covered when we left the dealership. Ryshawn Cooper, the delivery specialist, was so patient and helped us understand all the new safety features on this 2019 Subaru Forester. It is so gratifying to see car dealerships have come a long way since I was told "bring your husband back to purchase a car."

Major repairs
I dropped my car off to get the lower block repaired due to excessive oil consumption. The repair was covered by a class action lawsuit settlement by Subaru. I also had both rear bearings replaced, front brakes and rotors, and differential fluid changed. I dropped my car off on April 29 for what was supposed to be a 10-day repair. My car repairs were finished on July 31. Luckily I was given a free loaner car for those 3 months. Both loaners cars were brand new Subaru’s (the first was a 2019 Forester Touring, the second was a 2019 Crosstrek). While I was somewhat taken aback by the length of time the repairs took, I was quite happy that I was provided with excellent loaner cars at no additional cost to me.

Not what I came for
I brought my Subaru in for service because there was a recall on the air bags. I was told that there were actually 2 recalls on it, which would increase the service time allotted. I waited for 3 hours, then was told that the service people accidentally broke my windshield, and now the car had to stay for another 24-48 hours. Needless to say, this was a big inconvenience to my family and I. We were given a loaner car, but my 18 year old, who needed to get to work was not permitted to drive it. All in all, this was a pretty disappointing service visit with the Hamilton Subaru branch! Sincerely, Karen Harbison
