Dissappointed, wasted my time. No price on a car

Went into Brenner to purchase a 2014 Altima SV. Salesmen shows me an SL and I said they have leather. Right away I new I this was not going well. Instead I asked to have a price on the car I wanted. I said I can't stay 2 hrs and just to give me a price with the options I asked for. How hard is that. It must be hard to do! The manager comes over and tries to get me to stay. Meanwhile they ask for personal information which I said is not necessary. I guess they want to run a credit check on you. Meanwhile no prices, but said they will have one soon. So after telling them I went to 3 dealers, I noticed a change in there attitude. I don't think they like a well informed customer. After over 40 minutes and no price I said I was leaving and to call me. Guess what? No call. Why you ask. They don't like competition. Save yourself the trouble, and go elsewhere. After 1 minute with the salesmen I knew I had more information on a 2014 then he did. You think they would do some homework on there vehicles. I mentioned to him if they fixed the problems the 2013 had and he had no clue what I meant. I know the mechanics know. This isn't a well kept secret. Just look at the used 2013 s on cars.com with 3000 miles on them or lower. All you can do is hope they took care of them for the 2014 year. I found out the the big volume dealers in Maryland give you better pricing, then Harrisburg or Camp Hill and with Brenner no price at all. Don't be afraid to shop. Let them know you shopped around so they can't take advantage of you. Bob

I went to this dealer because I had previously bought a Chrysler Town and Country on the Carlisle Pike, and was interested in looking at the Nissan Sentra selection. The entire staff was friendly and I was able to look at quite a good selection of used cars, including the Nissan Sentra that I was hoping to find. I took a test drive and worked with Todd Shellenberger on what I could afford, etc. The sales event at the time was very good, and I was able to get in a 2011 Nissan Sentra, with only 25,000 miles and certified for much less than I had originally expected. Todd did not have that must sell attitude and was genuinely interested in working towards my financial goals to put me into the car I desired. I have had my Nissan for over a month and have gotten LOTS of compliments on it.....mileage is terrific, and it is very comfortable! I would recommend Brenner family of dealerships to everyone.....great experience, fantastic vehicles at the perfect price!!!

GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE AT THE BEST PRICE

I went to this dealer because I had previously bought a Chrysler Town and Country on the Carlisle Pike, and was interested in looking at the Nissan Sentra selection. The entire staff was friendly and I was able to look at quite a good selection of used cars, including the Nissan Sentra that I was hoping to find. I took a test drive and worked with Todd Shellenberger on what I could afford, etc. The sales event at the time was very good, and I was able to get in a 2011 Nissan Sentra, with only 25,000 miles and certified for much less than I had originally expected. Todd did not have that must sell attitude and was genuinely interested in working towards my financial goals to put me into the car I desired. ?I was requested to help younger family members to find...

?I was requested to help younger family members to find a new car, there wants and $ were NOT matched. As we entered the dealership, Crystal greeted us with a warm and very positive can do attitude. Telling her our need were very restrictive, didn’t faze her a bid. This is the last dealership u will be going to, she replied. Bob, the sales man, worked his but off, to get the # to fit. Going in, I did not think any dealer could make it happen. The #’s were just too restrictive. Lets just say we drove home in a new car, with scream of joy and high fives, from the buyers... Crystal you set the stage, then Bob and crew, did the work...staying 2 hours after closing.....nice job guys...

Found my unique looking car

I have been looking to replace my sebring convertable (2000) for awhile but nothing caught my eye until I saw a Juke. I went to Brenner-Nissan just to try it out to see if I would really like it. We met Mathew who spent plenty of time with us in spite of the fact I told him I was just looking and not ready to buy. We also met Davin (new car sales manger) and he was very helpful when I asked for numbers to think about. I had to have red and they found me one. They were patient with me when I called them with questions. Matthew took us on test drives twice. Afther that I decided the Juke was the car I was looking for. I am now the proud owner of a red Juke. The whole experience was great from beginnig to end. We were introduced to the service area and a one month checkup appt (no charge) was set up.

New to Nissan

After a disastrous time at a different Nissan dealership, we came into Brenner with less than high expectations. But Denny A. was a nice surprise. We were just looking around the lot when he came out to say hello, and gave us the room to look around on our own. He checked on us, but not annoyingly, and worked with us to get us in the car we wanted in the price range we wanted. With financing already in place, this is the kind of ease I expected from a dealership. He took us on two test drives, and was willing to go on a third, which I really appreciated. We are looking to trade in our other vehicle soon, and plan on returning here for the wonderful service we received. We will definitely be recommending this place and look forward to returning. Thank you!

Great Experience!

Todd Shellenberger was extremely helpful in the purchase of our pre-owned car. He provided us with several options to find the best one that fit our needs. He was very professional but at the same time talked to us like he knew us for years. This dealership (and Todd) are at the top of our list when we are ready to purchase another car.

Awesome personalities, Quick service

I bought my car from Brenner in December of 2008, and I have been there for service a few times, I just went there yesterday to get a new key cut since I somehow managed to lose the last one (Originally had two) during the movement of our family's cars for snow-related issues. (Family of six and all are driving age and have jobs and cars to get them there, in addition a steep driveway that gets very slick in the ice.)They were very helpful, pleasant, quick, and informative. They answered all of my questions that had been dwelling for about four months until I found a second or full time income. After explaining that at this time, I was simply interested in a door only key, they told me the cost of a chipped key so I knew for when I returned for.one.

Great service

Was at 4 to 5 dealerships and they told me they could not help me then I called Brenner NissaCopyn and spoke to Todd Shellenberger and from the time I walked in the door till I drove out in my new car I was treated great by Brenner Nissan and Todd Shellenberger
