Excellent Service.

I had warranty service done on my 2016 XC70. I just moved to Maine and this was my first visit to Goodwins. I have owned Volvos for 20 years and Goodwins is the best dealer I have ever been to. They were honest and kept me informed throughout the process. Very good dealer.

Keep Looking

Our vehicle purchase was based on the promise that as soon as an ATT upgrade was available the vehicle would have a remote start. Despite repeated attempts for a year and a half to obtain this upgrade Goodwin's never made good on their promise. Instead they offered to do a different software upgrade which would accomplish the desired goal for an additional $600. This dealership has some very nice staff, some very nice vehicles, and not one drop of integrity. Go somewhere else you might do better - you won't do worse.

A+ for buying and service experience

One of my daughters and I have had our Volvos serviced at Goodwin's for over twenty years, and I have purchased two new XC60s there. Both buying experiences were very good, especially the most recent one (last week!--fair trade-in value; several rebates; beautiful car; helpful, low-pressure salesman) with Ralph D'Angelo, but it is especially Marc Bernier and the service department that keep us coming back. Five stars.

Rear brake pad replacement

Gave me a quote to replace rear brake pads on my XC90 in Dec for $315. Called recently to set up apt and they said now it’s $425!!! Prices and labor went up!! My SS didn’t Got replacement at another dlr for $295 Caution here!!

Care by Volvo XC40 subscription

I did a Care by Volvo subscription online for an XC40 that was delivered to Goodwin's yesterday. The guys at the dealership had to be the most friendly group of salesmen I've ever met. Car was ready and in gleaming condition, signing paperwork was easy and efficient, and really appreciated the full walkthrough of the Volvo app and all tech features. Great experience. Also, super nice showroom and plenty of space for social distancing, which I really appreciated.

A simple phone call!

Spoke with Mae to set an appointment for two days later to view used XC90. After setting the appointment my wife decided she would be interested in a used XC60. I texted Mae this information. Mae responded she would have both vehicles ready for our appointment. When we showed up at the appointment we asked for Rich as instructed. Rich unapologetically let us know the XC90 had been sold that morning and then referred us to a salesman. The exchange was awkward as we were there for a specific vehicle we had scheduled an appointment in advance. We left very disappointed and angry with the whole experience. We will not be shopping with Godwin again and will be letting friends and family know of our experience as well as be sharing our story on social media. A simple phone call could have saved us the hassle and aggravation.

The best

Happy, everyone was great Ralph was awesome. Facility was clean, information from salesman and others was spot on. Oh yeah car w as s just as described.

I love my new car!

This is my third Volvo. I love the brand, And, this XC40 rides better than the other two, I am still trying to figure out the technology, but with my sales person, Ralph Dangelo, helping, I know I will be a pro very soon.
