Will never go back!

Have had several issues with my car since purchasing because of a known issue from GM. General Motors refuses to do a recall and only after heavy pushing will replace the engine. Within a month of purchase my check engine light came on and they instantly checked into the known problem and found that my car indeed was one of the problem cars. Two expensive repairs later I went under the oil consumption test. They claim I always came at spec for burning oil between oil changes. Sometimes a quart every 1000 miles. I finally came out of that and had my first oil change and no problems. Second one came up, I took it in on Monday and by Friday my check engine light was on. On following Monday I took it in, they had it for three days and told me the engine light was not on and they couldn't get it to come on while doing several test drives. In their words, "drove it all day" I happen to use my phone to take pictures of the mileage when I get there and it showed the check engine light on so proved them wrong on that and when I picked it up it was only 45 miles off so couldn't have been driven all day for two days. I picked the car up and the light didn't come on but as soon as I got 2 miles down the road the second morning it was on and has stayed on. I am now looking for a new place of business that is not a dealership just looking for you to buy a new vehicle as that is their other thing. As soon as you put your vehicle in the service they call you telling you general manager saw your car and wants to offer you a great price and trade value on your car. Not just one call, I got a few during that time. I did talk to the owner of the business and he assured me I would not be called again I feel that is very poor customer service. No means NO!! At my oil change they came out and talked to the elderly gentlemen waiting to for his car and they told him that he had an undetectable leak somewhere on his vehicle. His level was full but they found it and suggested he bring it in to be looked at. When they came out to tell me my oil change was done they had the same answer about mine just a different place. As far as the staff, awesome but the service dept is very shady! They also told me it would cost $4500 to fix an exhaust leak. If you use them I would stay on top of your repairs and question everything.

2009 Corvette

Dar and his manager in used car sales were a pleasure to work with. All the people at Sawyer's were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Fast and friendly

Worked with Jake to pick up a used Traverse. There were a million of them around the state but we wanted to buy locally. Jake worked with us to get a price which competed with a quote we’d received from a dealer in the Detroit area. This was after his vehicle had already been discounted substantially a few days before. While we went back and forth a few times, it never felt contentious. Finding a salesperson who’s willing to negotiate without getting aggressive or annoyed is rare in my experience. I would definitely recommend Sawyer and would definitely go back for a future purchase.

Great work great price

Had a lot of things going wrong on my 10 year old Saturn Vue and Jesse was a life saver! Communication was great, time frame to get everything done was great and even when there was more repairs than the initial quote, Jesse found a way to stay in my budget.

I had a great purchasing experience at Sawyer's, their customer service was outstanding. Their facility is nice and inviting, plus I liked their bite size candies. Out salesman, Scott, was awesome. He listened to what I wanted in my new vehicle and made it happen. He was very patient and attentive.
