Service circa 1980

I was lied to multiple times by multiple people. I had my significant other engage because I felt there was a strong bias towards me because of being a woman. He was lied to as well, again multiple times. I will never use this dealership again, and I have told them the same. The story is far to convoluted to share in this space, just know that they are not trustworthy. The staff did NOTHING to correct my vehicle, and attempted to get me to pay for things that I should not have. Sadly the way they acted makes them liars and thieves, and left me stranded with out a vehicle for a number of days. It has been decades since I have had to deal with such a broad base of incompetence clustered in one organization. If this is representative of how General Motors treats customers I doubt that I'll ever buy/lease another one. Sadly I doubt that anyone in GM or the dealership has the intestinal fortitude to make the systemic changes necessary in order to effectively compete in this market, and Sawyers Chevrolet will become a causality by their own hand.

We found a 2014 Chevy Pickup at this dealership that was what we were looking for. I called and talked with Tyler and he said it was still there and I said we might drive down to look at it. My wife and I drove the 90 mile and Tyler had the truck out front and came out with the key to unlock and look it over. It was very clean and just what we wanted. I ask him what my 2016 Nissan Frontier 4x4 would be worth in trade. He went inside and came out shortly and said: He couldn't give me a trade price unless I was going to commit to buy today, per his boss, the Sales Manager. How can you commit to buy anything, if you don't know what they are giving you in trade ??? Tyler apologized, but said he was under orders. I have been a salesman for over 44 years and never heard of this approach. This Sales Manager needs to go back to sales training and learn how to treat a customer. I would have given this dealer a 1 star, except for the good job done by Tyler. However, I will not be dealing with this dealer and would advise others, like wise. Don P.

Splash shield was dragging on the road and we had 200 more miles to drive. Ryan put it up on the hoist immediately, put some new clips on and we were on our way in under 15 minutes. They really saved the day for us on our long trip. Didn’t even charge us. Thank you Ryan!

Problem with Used Car Manager

Bought a used car November 2021. Kyle Warren was the salesman and cannot say enough good things about Kyle. If I was to ever purchase another vehicle from Sawyer it would only be Kyle I would deal with. My problem with Sawyer is I purchased the car without seeing it first. I live a distance away and could not inspect it first. When I got home and really looked at the car the next day I noticed that the tires were extremely worn. 4/32 was one of the tires, all the tables say for winter driving that is the lowest reading for winter driving. I called the dealership and talked to Kyle, said he would have used car manager call me, he never did. Called back several days later and Kyle apologize and assured me the manager would call. No call again. So the experience with Kyle was great but with the used car manager was not.
