Was proud to say I was a repeat customer to Matthews Motors. Beware. Full details of the current condition of the car was not disclosed and I am paying for it only a few months out of owning the car. Will not return.

Please contact me about who you are and what this complaint is regarding. Matthews Motors depends on services such as Carfax and auto check to verify the condition of vehicles along with a service department inspection. With that said there are cases where Carfax or Autocheck reports do not contain all of the information they should if it is found out to be the case please always contact the dealer we can help, these companies have a disclosure responsibility. Rotor Work
Went in to have my front rotors turned & was a little skeptical since it was my first visit to Mathews Motors. The showroom area was nice & inviting, plenty of seating & they even had Spoorts Center on the TV ! It was a 2 hour wait which I expected for this type of work. I asked to see the rotors before the work begain, the counter guys took me back to the shop where I spoke to the 2 mechanics working on my vehicle. The shop was immaculate, cleanest repair shop I'd ever seen. The rotors were already being turned so I could see how bad they were warped. I'm back on the road & the braking vibrations have stopped. Overall good experience.

Awesome! We love to hear this type of story, thank you so much for the kind words about the shop area. Sports center is a must have in a service waiting area, but for those of you who aren't sports fans don't fret we have a separate waiting area that has TV as well, we aren't trying to force everyone to watch football!! Buyer Beware!!
I purchased a car from Matthews Motors about a year ago. I recently found out that the car I purchased had been wrecked FOUR times prior to my purchase. NONE of the FOUR accidents were disclosed to me prior to purchase. I have tried to contact the owner, in which has poor customer service skills! Mr. Matthews has not followed up with my calls or email. Matthews Motors did not offer a resolution to my concern! I would not recommend Matthews Motors to anyone!! Buyer Beware of what they will sell you and not disclose of the vehicle history!!!

I hate that you feel the way you do. I would love to tell you that we don't sell a car with a wreck but in reality any dealer telling you this is just not being honest. 1 in 3 vehicles on the road today has been in a wreck of some sort, in the event a vehicle has previously been wrecked Matthews Motors policy is to verify the vehicle has no frame or major structure damage and any light repairs were completed by a reputable body shop. We use Carfax and Autocheck to verify these items and we are glad to provide a report on any car purchased from Matthews Motors anytime. Thanks Dave K
Great Experience
I needed a vechicle back in the early 1990's, when Steve first opened in the trailor across from where they are now. Since then I have bought 5 vechicles from Matthew Motors!! Everyone that works there has been professional and they do whatever it takes to get the job done. I just bought a 2011 Mitibishi Endeavor and my daughter is in the process of buying a 2012 Toyota Corolla, talking about keeping it in the family! Pete, Nada, and Murph are the best, they worked with me to get the best deal and then they went over and beyond that deal and got me an even better one! Thanks guys!!! I would recommend Matthew Motors whole heartedly and without reservation to anyone who's looking a vehicle. I don't go anywhere else!!!!!!!

Great Experience!
We recently traded in our 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac for a 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The employees were friendly and the customer service was great - especially our salesman Alan Grimble!! Love the building and outside area - very well maintained and impressive. It was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back when ready for another purchase or trade.

Great Experience
I have to say that this was the best, let me rephrase that, the only pleasant car buying experience that I have ever had. The people were super nice, including the owner, Mr. Matthews. I made the deal over the phone from a Cars.Com ad and then went to the dealership. The car was everything that it was represented to be in the ad and there was no discussion about the price that was agreed to over the phone. There were a few minor items that we found at the dealership and the team there offered immediately to work with us to have them repaired to our satisfaction. I would especially like to thank Mike Collier, my salesperson, who was very attentive and concerned that I was happy with my purchase. My purchase was for my daughter's first car and she was with me. They were happy to answer all of her questions and were very attentive to her as well.

Friendly and Flexible!
We recently had our vehicle serviced by Matthews Motors and were thoroughly impressed with the customer service! We had a set appointment time and due to a two hour school delay, were not able to make it in on time. They squeezed us in and were very friendly with the situation. Good customer service is getting harder and harder to find these days, so I really appreciate it when we do find it! Thanks for being so flexible and doing it with a smile! I can't imagine taking my vehicle anywhere else for our service needs!

Great Service
Until recently I not know their service was open to everyone. I brought my car in with a list of items I wanted checked out to see if they needed service. Several items they said were fine and did not need to be done at this time. Women have a tendency to fear a repair shop will tell them they need things done that are not needed at all or over charge for the items fixed. I was very happy with the service I received, the cost of the repairs and plan to bring my car there when ever I need service. My daughter purchased a van from them and is very happy with her purchase, I intend to buy my next vehicle from them.
