Service department is great

The service department is always great. They always take care of my needs. I thought I might need an alignment but I didn't and they called me to let me know. They didn't just do it because I asked them to check.

Horrible dealership

This dealership is a very unprofessional dealership. My wife and I have been shopping for a truck for a long period of time now, as we want to make sure we get the best deal possible for our needs. After much looking around we found a very nice pre-owned Silverado listed at $33,000 on their website so after searching other places we decided to make this our last stop for the night. When we went into the dealership we spoke with Kevin a salesperson regarding this Silverado , we took a test drive and liked the vehicle very much. It was a very nice truck with very very low miles. We are obviously not impulse buyers so we wanted to think about it. The next day I decided to go back and asked Kevin if we could take the vehicle home for the evening and let him know we wanted to have a friendly mechanic we know look at the vehicle, the salesperson response was "why would you want to have a mechanic look at a vehicle with only 1500 miles on it" My response was this is a used vehicle I would like to make sure this vehicle was okay as it is less than a year old and has already been traded in plus we like to travel so we wanted to highway drive this vehicle and have some more time to look at the vehicle and think this decision over. The next day (today) we went back into the dealership to talk with the salesperson about purchasing this vehicle. When the salesperson meets us at our table he looks at my wife and says "you look different" this is an issue for me because my wife is normally very laid back and does not dress "to the nines" and today she happened to have a important meeting so she was dressed up. I found this insulting due to his demeanor. I told the salesperson after further looking at the vehicle, the truck bed had a lot of scratches in it, which I know it is a truck so I understand this happens, but I expressed that I would like to add a bed liner to help prevent the vehicle from rusting etc, also had some scratches and scuffs on tailgate, bed side, and passenger rear door handle. We then proceeded to offer the dealership a cash payment. The salesperson then proceeded to tell me they could not move on this price and so we requested a counter offer. The salesperson pointed his finger at a paper with the online price on it. I proceeded to tell the salesperson what my final offer was out the door. The salesperson got up and talked to his manager and came back with a piece of paper showing me they would not budge on the price at all. The salesperson also said "cash or financing we don't care we do not treat his any differently, 80 percent of my clients pay cash" I find this hard to believe but we said okay and walked out the door. The salesperson then called me around 30 minutes later to question why I had offered the dealership this amount and I again expressed how there were scratches etc and I also looked up the book value of the vehicle, and the salesperson then said to me "is this amount all the bank would finance you for" that is insult number two for me and I found this very rude. My wife and I have worked very hard to get to where we are in life and I told him I would be giving you cash to end the deal right here today. Kevin then hung up and I am assuming spoke with his manager, I then get another phone call 10 minutes later offering to give me a bed liner and fix scratches and told me I would need to put $3,000 down plus pay $33,000 dollars. My response was I will be paying cash for this vehicle why do I need a down payment? I then proceeded to tell Kevin if you cannot meet me at $33,000 out the door then I am not interested. I find this insulting because I WANTED TO PAY CASH FOR THE VEHICLE WHY DO I NEED A DOWN PAYMENT. Kevin is a very unprofessional salesperson and I would not recommend a single person to him or this dealership in any way shape or form. Kevin belittled my wife and I with his rude and unprofessional comments. Beware everyone do not do business with Kevin or Andy Mohr Chevrolet in Plainfield.

Great Customer Service

My car buying experience was pleasant. My sales person was Andre and I got to work with Jerome a little bit also. They did a wonderful job at helping me find a car that matched the features that I wanted with my budget. I had questions about the car the next day after purchasing and Andre was very helpful. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very good experience

James and David, the two gentleman I dealt with, were extremely pleasant.fair and professional. We had a few issues which were addressed immediately and very fair. I don't like high pressure sales and that ever happened with these two employees.
