Great Experience
My salesman Kevin Smith (Chrysler, dodge, jeep) was pleasure to work with. I went in prepared with a list of cars (Honda) that I was interested in. Kevin made it happen for the price that I wanted, terms, and I received a great bumper to bumper warranty. I was in and out in around 3hrs (mostly me changing vehicles lol I went in refusing to put anything down). He was very knowledge on their cars, and was very professional. Even Moe in finance got me a great interest rate. He was a pleasure to work with as well. I must admit I am one happy customer. I highly recommend that you use Kevin Smith for your car buying experience!!!

I used to Believe in Gillman
Hmmm... What can be said about what is going on with my purchase from Gillman at this time. Yes, one year ago I purchased a vehicle from them and was please with the service. In September I decided to trade vehicles and get a new model. I dealt with AJ who I have no complaints about - very friendly and helpful. In November I noticed a wet spot in the car. It was raining and I figured rain got into the car when I opened the door. Didn't really seem to see anything else, but normally when it rains I am either home and the car is under the carport OR I am at work and would therefore not notice. Of course I never expecting anything bad to happen since this is a brand new car. Welp! It did! The last rain we had my thigh was soaked! There was water leaking into the car from the bar near the driver side window so I took pictures. I emailed Mr. Chapman. I didn't get a response so I figured he was busy; so I contacted the service department and spoke with Allen. Allen is very customer friendly and I appreciate his honesty with the matter. I received a call from Allen at work today and he advised me the hose to the sunroof that we thought was damaged was not...IT WAS MISSING!!! He said they can't verify what is causing he rough idle until they install the hose and see if there is any water damage. The have to pull apart my car to do this!!! I am livid! I am laughing to keep from crying. How could Chrysler forget to install such an important piece?!?!? What could possibly be the damage to my car? I haven't had it 6 months and this is NOT a good sign. There is so much potential for this to bring other major issues. Without a hose to drain the water from the sunroof properly who knows what type of water damage there could be?! I decided I would go and speak to Mr. Chapman personally and express my concerns; possibly see what other avenues can be taken - after all I did return to them because of their service when I purchased my last vehicle. I go to the receptionist desk and ask to speak with the General Manager. She call and asks for a manager. I am sitting there and a salesman comes up and proceeds to tell me "The GM wants to know what this is in reference to" I am shocked by that to say the least. I looked at him and stated..."MY CAR". He goes back in to the finance booth or whatever that area is called. He returns about 5 minutes later and tells me "He said he will be with you in a moment" Ok...No problem...20 minutes have passed since I asked to speak to the GM....25 now...Now I am thinking: I have things to do as well and this is concerning the vehicle sold to me at Gillman...surely you find your clients important - even AFTER you have their money. NOPE...nothing... not even a stop by acknowledgement. I am watching him the entire time though. Still he has not gotten up to come and see what his customer is requesting to speak with him about. So I left; and here I am now writing not only this review..but several others. Sure, the missing hose is not Gillman's fault per-say ...but I did PURCHASE the vehicle from them and should be able to speak with them about the matter and what can be done. I don't want a car that is already potentially damaged and I haven't even put 5100 miles on it yet and I sure as xxxx don't want to deal with a dealership who cares no more about me than to blow me off. I am stuck in a stinky rental for 10 days which is their max. If this process takes longer what do I do? What do I do about my BRAND NEW vehicle that already has a MAJOR problem I had such higher expectations from Gillman. Feeling VERY let down. Customer for life???TBD not looking so great right now.

Lacks Integrtiy, typical slick car dealer experience
I went there this past summer to buy a used Ford for my daughters first vehicle. We searched online for weeks to find the right vehicle. I contacted the dealer online and told them I wouldn't pay more than $9500, the vehicle was listed online at $10k. They sent me a response $9.8k as the price, I told them they would have to do better so Taha (the sales person) said they would work with me, so I took the risk and drove an hour, figured with his response and only being $300 off we'd come to a deal. When I got there, they had add $1k for dealer prep and stayed at the original $10K price for a total of $11k. I told them not a penny more than $9.5k they kept coming back with slightly lower numbers but nothing close to even the $9.8k in the email. My family and I went to lunch and I told him to call me if he could do $9.5k. He called and said they "had the price I needed". I should have been smart enough to smell the BS. I went back, still nothing near the $9.5k, so I walked out. Taha came running out the door and said we can do the $9.5k...I said, "you've irritated me so $9.3k" and I kept walking and got in my truck and left. He called like 5 min later and agreed to the $9.3k. Because my daughter loved the car I went back and bought it. If you live in that area save yourself time and heart ache and go somewhere else, but I'm never buying from Gillman again.

Purchase of new vechicle
I was in deseparate of a car and was not willing to be put in what someone else wanted me in so I asked a girlfriend who recommended Gillman Dodge the only problem was they we're in Houston and I leaved in Dallas so I gave Mel Johnson a call and he made it happen in a matter of days.

New Car purchase

can't say enough about my experience with JOE Hermandez and Gillman Jeep Dodge. I smile as I think about how efficient the service was from beginning to end. As if we were the only people that were important in that waiting room. Joe was never distracted with anyone else but US from the moment he met us. His desire and result was to make this the most pleasant experience of any we had haD. AND HE DID JUST THAT. I highly above any other car experience we have had, HIGHLY recommend GILman, and JOE. It was a total pleasant delight. Joe diligently ran for us and took care of any needs we had. It started to rain, Joe even got umbrellas, the wait to see finance officer was longer than JOE wanted for us, he asked if we wanted water and snacks, more than once.
