I put down money to hold the vehicle. They sold it out from under me. Wish sales didn’t go to the rich. I’m just a regular person, but was passed over. Then was told my word of mouth promise never really happened, and that “business is business after all”. Profit over customer service. Makes me sad. A large dealership needs to do better

Bad experience!
Brought vehicle in for oil change only because I have to due to warranty and they said I need front brakes soon so I Brought it to Firestone and requested oem parts from gm which they got them delivered and started the brake job but realized my front brakes were like new and that's because I had bergstrom do them 20,000 miles ago! The lube place also said my transmission fluid looked bad..hmmm..bergstrom automotive just changed it a few months earlier because the transmission has a recall do to the wrong trans fluid.wth! Very disappointing yet I still have to get oil changes there because of warranty but any work I need done will be at Firestone...they are very honest. Bergstrom crooks.

A Spark!
There are many things to mention. To begin, I've been looking for for a vehicle, new or used, the last two months throughout eastern WI. Mine was totaled in an accident, so this wasn't an impulse purchase by any means. The car market is crazy, and not in a good way. I was greeted at the door, door opened, and referred to a sales person, Kara Homan. No exaggeration, I wasn't greeted at any dealership the last two months, but instead had to hunt people down to inquire about purchasing. I wanted to test drive a Chevy Spark and was in a car within 15 minutes. No sale was made at that time, wanting to visit a few more places. After pondering over dinner, I went back to Bergstrom Appleton to buy the vehicle. The final price was acceptable and Kara started the paperwork process. I think it took 30-45 minutes and done. A new Chevy Spark owner was born. Maybe I should have started with Bergstrom first and it wouldn't have taken two months! In addition, my vehicle was delivered to my home in my driveway 70 miles from the dealership. The drivers were very nice and professional. Overall, this was the best experience with buying a vehicle - ever.

If I could give zero stars I would.
If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a 2018 GMC Yukon XL. Less than 5 months of owning it the transmission completely went out. We called them and they said to have it towed to them and if it is apart of the Class Action lawsuit that is currently going on with GM they will replace it. We paid $275 to have it towed there they looked at it for 2 seconds said they would NOT do anything for us. We paid another $275 to have it towed back. When they tow company arrive Bergstrom refused to release it unless we pay them $200. Yes - we purchased a used vehicle. In no way shape or form should the transmission go out in under 5 months. We called around to several transmission shops who told us they replace at least 1 per week in our model vehicle. You would think when you buy a $44,000 vehicle you would get some sort of customer service. Absolutely not. I will never go back and do not recommend purchasing any vehicle through them.

Not treated fairly.
I recently traded in a 2016 Nissan Rogue with very low miles on it. It also had brand new tires and a new brake job in the back. I also had remote start installed on it. There was a tare in the rear bumper and I got dinged on trade in value and received $2000 less then KBB fair price. The car I traded for was a 2019 Chevy Equinox with navigation. There was a small ding dent in the hood among other small imperfections. The navigation SD card was outdated and I simply requested the dealer pay for a new one. I don’t feel I should have to pay to update that since I had just driven it off the lot literally. I also requested the ding dent in hood be fixed. The manager said he would not get me a new card but would give me some money to help pay for one. Also their body shop didn’t fix the dent. They said it was in a bad spot and was only able to touch up the paint. So in review, I get penalized for a bad bumper and get less money, yet do not get an updated navigation system and still have the dent and pay exactly what they were asking. I don’t expect to be treated special, just to be treated fairly. The salesman was sensitive to my issues, however management wasn’t willing to make me happy. It like they got the sale and now on to the next victim.
