Experience was good. 2 issues that were resolved
Friday, Sept 8th. Bought 2016 Expedition EL Platinum that had been for sale 4-1/2 months with 16,500 miles. Excellent price and in immaculate condition. Price had been reduced by $5,900 from when it originally went on sale. 1st issue-A little pressure from David Glenn to purchase 72 month extended warranty. Came down from a high price to a fair price of $1,700 saving roughly $ 500 from what was originally offered. 2nd issue- This is Anacortes and I live in Issaquah, 92 miles. While driving home I got a low level gas warning and had to stop in Everett for gas. Didn't have enough gas to get home from dealership. On Monday I called Rick and explained what happened. He said new cars have a full tank but used cars have about 1/8th of a tank. Said he could not and wouldn't send a small check to reimburse me and would talk to someone about it. JR called back and left a message that when I would come back to the area to stop by and they would get me some gas! I'm sure that Rick told JR to tell me that. I called back and talked to Ron the owner. I played the message back that JR had left so he could here what was said. Ron said they would cut a check for $40 to reimburse me. 2 days later I had the check delivered in the mail. Thank you Ron! This could have been resolved so much simpler with out having to go to the owner. I would still go back to Frontier for a new or used car. Sales staff very friendly and courteous except for Rick..

Experience was ok
They had the best price on the used vehicle I was searching for. Jared picked me up at the local airport which was really nice. He was really friendly and communication was always good. Was on a rather tight timeline and financing tried selling me package after package which is to be expected...but was a bit annoying after I made clear I was not interested they still persisted. SOP buying from a dealer. Also asked about service and oil change. Said a 1xx point inspection was done. Never offered up paperwork to verify. Also dropped my oil after I got home to guarantee the work was done right and they didn't use a Ford Motorcraft oil filter (some 3rd party brand I had never heard of) and unsure of the oil but was pitch black already. Was really disappointed with this. After 500 miles of driving, the car said I only had 77% oil life left. I just assume they didn't reset the computer. All that said, great price on the car, salesmen was nice and friendly...just make sure and do as much due diligence as possible before you drive off the lot.

Decieving front guys
Everything was going well with purchasing my vehical and I had had noteiced that the antenna on the car I was purchasing was missing. I made it clear I did not want to leave withough the antenna being replaced on the car or at least there being something in writing that it would be replaced by the dealership. They were able to put antenna on the car, I was able to assure everything was in working order and when I got home I realized that my pre-exisisting car I came in with was missing it's antenna. Now this would have been fine if I had traded in my vehical since it would then be their problem, however I did not, so it almost felt like thieft on thier part...even though it was taken from one property of mine and put on another. I felt decieved about the agreement made, which left a bad taste in my month about the whole purchase. I am happy with my car, just will not be going back to this dealership, nor will I refer it to family and friends for the reason stated earlier.

Creative, "no pressure" purchase experience!
My wife and I has been searching for a new Explorer for the last month or so. We talked to around seven dealerships and made several offers, but could not reach an agreement. We saw a couple of potential Explorer opportunities on the internet, located at Frontier Ford. When we inquired, "JR" contacted us and offered to show us these vehicles. We had explained to the other dealers and JR that we were very price sensitive. We also described our "ideal" vehicle. As you might imagine, the price that we wanted to pay and our ideal vehicle, did not exactly match! On the day that we purchased our Explorer at Frontier Ford, we had met with another dealer and looked at a 2017, used Explorer. It was close to "ideal", but still more than we wanted to pay. We then drove to Anacortes and met with JR. He showed us a new Explorer which seemed fairly priced, but he suggested that we look at a 2013 that they had in inventory. It was our ideal vehicle, but had 49K miles. We drove it, loved it, and proceeded to negotiate a purchase with a 6-year, 48K mile Premium Warranty! There was never a second of pressure to purchase a vehicle by JR or any of the staff, and the staff was very helpful in explaining the warranty and the vehicle history. JR and Frontier met our goals of an ideal vehicle at a reasonable price. Thank you, JR and Frontier Ford!!

Easy going and friendly home town dealership!!
I really like how our Salesperson itemized all extra services to purchase with the car, next to them was the coast and a short explanation of what they were, so when you went in the GM's office, we had an idea what services we waned or not. We also had several walk arounds inside and out looking for any issues with the car. Great service!,,...

Very willing to work with me
I had to do a lot of extra homework to build the ford transit passenger van for our family and business. After three stops in we finally got all of the options nailed down. I feel like I was responsible for getting most things done right as they were learning about the van configurations as we went. It took about 4 months to get the van ordered, built, and delivered. Driving great and awesome features!

happy to sell you a junk vehicle.
They accepted a trade in with a blown engine. They should have just junked or parted or auctioned it. Instead they "mis" advertised it with a price similar to a working used vehicles and waited for a sucker (me). Once I purchased I had three mechanics review it. They all said it was evident the ford dealership passed a junk vehicle as normal used. I asked why I couldn't tell one of the cylinders was missing until about 100 miles of driving and they said that normally means someone had doctored the cylinder misfire to hide it for sale. I asked 4 people at the dealership (General Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, Salesman) to discuss this with me and no one every responded. I learned--- 1--Always get it inspected pre-sale as it really is "buyer beware or be-screwed" with this dealership. 2. They have you sign all the paperwork giving any your rights/warranties or suitability warranties---that means once you leave the lot, no matter what b.s. they gave you, you are stuck with it and they have your money. I am now worse off than when I went to Frontier Ford as I now have a junk vehicle and I don't have any money that I'd saved up for a working vehicle. Make sure you don't walk away from them feeling like their next sucker.
