Oil change took 2 hours!

Oil change took over two hours. Once I paid and was told my car was ready I stood waiting for them to wash my car another 15 minutes. Will be finding a new dealership.

Went looking and bought a new 2017 Equinox last week!

I was checking out the Equinox's in their lot and Ronnie Clark assisted me and my son find the vehicle that had everything I wanted. Eric Kohler was helpful with processing the paperwork. Ronnie took the time to explain the features of my new Equinox and give me a tour and meet some of the guys in the Service Department. My only complaint was that I was not able to negotiate the price, but then I haven't purchased a vehicle for 13 years and times have changed.

Buying or Leasing Friendly Chev.was Great.

I Bought my last vehicle from Dion Kennedy in 2010 and decided it was time to upgrade. I went back to Dion Kennedy and Dion was great I test drove several vehicles and he never rushed me and I loved the best price. That is the price there is no worrying about negotiations and I compared online with other dealers. Friendly's price was right at the low end. I talked with Dion Kennedy about leasing which I never have done before and found that leasing was the way to go for me.Everyone was great to work with and leased with a plan that I was comfortable with.

They live up to their name!

JB helped me find the best car for me. He was honest about the condition of the vehicles. We talked about each of the cars that I was interested in and narrowed it down from there. He helped me get my onstar all set up and made sure to answer all of my questions. I felt like he was trust worthy and would recommend the people shop here for good quality used cars.

Our new truck shopping experience was made easy and was handled very professionally by our salesman Dion Kennedy. He not only found us the truck we wanted, but also spent a great deal of time explaining the new dashboard technologies. We would readily recommend buying from "Friendly Chev."

Dealer response

Steve and Kathy - Thank you so much for this excellent feedback and your very kind recommendation of our dealership. I am grateful to hear that Dion worked hard enough to make your purchase easy and pleasant. Enjoy your new truck! Best, Patrick Johnson | General Manager

Chevrolet Car

I had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie Clark and discussing the purchase of the new car that was leased from James & Christina Brady. The trade of my car was flawless. The wait for credit approval made it all that nice to take sometime regarding additional questions regarding the license, tabs and I prayed a full gas tank, other discussion were small talk that made me comfortable with Ronnie. He REALLY makes a person feel valued and is extremely knowledgeable about his business. Thank you Ronnie for everything!!!

Ten Thousand Dollars for a Piece of Junk

I purchased a used Toyota Tacoma from Friendly Chevrolet in May of this year (2017). I made a huge mistake by going to Friendly. Only a few days after I drove the truck home, the brakes started squealing. When I emailed the salesperson, that I had dealt with at Friendly, to explain what was happening, and to ask if I could bring the truck in for diagnostics and repairs, I was told that the truck was deemed "legally allowable to sell," and that I could bring the truck in, but that any servicing of the truck would have to be covered by me personally, or by the insurance plan that I had purchased. Again, this was less than a week after I purchased the vehicle. AlSO, there were small amounts of rust on the truck, that I asked about before purchasing. A salesman confidently assured me, while we were checking out the truck on the lot, that the rust was only surface rust, and that it could be easily repaired. Well, two weeks ago I took the truck to a body shop, and was told that the rust repairs would be thousands of dollars to fix! And, that given the value of the truck, the repairs just weren't worth doing. I was literally told by the body shop to "Just drive the truck, and let it rust. It's too far gone." THEN, this week the muffler on the truck just fell off... It literally just fell off the truck. I paid over ten thousand dollars for this truck! I have had the truck for a little over two months now, and could not be less happy. Do not purchase from these people!

Friendly Chevrolet does NOT stand behind its product

The vehicle in question is a 2017 Chevrolet Impala, Premium trim. Purchase new from Friendly in February of this year. The lower front panel near the headlight has popped out of its socket. I took it back to Friendly. Rick Nelson in the body shop looked at it. He pushed it back in place by hand and said it was fixed as it is held in there only by some plastic clips. Less than 24 hours later, it had popped back out. I called Jimmy Rowe, salesman who sold me the vehicle to share my experience and ask for help. He was not helpful, advising me to call the body shop. I did so and spoke with Rick Nelson again who told me that now it would cost me around $200 since he'd have to take it apart. I asked about the bumper-to bumper warranty. He said no, when you bump the curb, it voids your warranty. I told him that I did not bump any curb. He replied that the bottom plastic molding has scrape marks underneath. I have not had it on a hoist yet but if there are scrape marks, they are not caused from bumping the curb. These are from sidewalks when parking and the low profile styled vehicles are not high enough to clear when parking. It is very common. Anyone who's parked a low profile car perpendicular to the curb knows this occurrence. The difference here is that all other cars stand up to the minor scrapes. In the case of the Impala, Nelson asserts that this minor scrape causes the vehicle to come apart. That's a stretch but if accurate, speaks to the quality of Chevrolet vehicles, considering this is a top of the line model and trim. I believe Nelson is only out to make a buck and that speaks to Friendly's non-existent customer service. Less than five months ago, I'd given Friendly over 30 grand in business. How soon they forget. Trying to blame the customer over couple hundred dollars. I've purchased many new vehicles and when there was a problem within the warranty period, other dealerships were happy to help. This is a first from my experience and the reason it is so perplexing. Nelson and Friendly did nothing to resolve the issue nor to improve the customer experience. Any future maintenance issues can be handled by a number of dealer who are passionate about customers.
