I really don't feel worthy to write this review because I ended up buying a new vehicle from a dealer in Anderson, SC near my office; however I will review the service Ed gave me during my shopping. I knew Ed from 30 years or so ago and knew he was selling cars, so when my car died I immediately called him. He sent me his inventory via email and text. I had a budget and he was able to select several that fit my budget. Ed continued t follow up and even sent me the information my credit union needed to get the deal done. The only reason I did not purchase from him is I commute about 400 miles a week and really needed a new vehicle. Ed since has called me and checked in to make sure I was still satisfied with my purchase. I will continue to recommend anyone I know looking for a quality used vehicle, and who needs an honest hard working salesman. Thank you Ed. And yes we need to get together and reminisce about Charleston and Folly Beach.

Helpful hands

Never in my entire car buying experience have I had such and easy process from the low pressure approach to how quick they are in the process. Thanks to Ed Izlar for all his help in my buying a great preowned Subaru. Much success to you all at Skye Autohaus.

Fixed a glitch...

Well, we're back! As some may have read, we recently bought a nifty 2008 Outback from these folks, and as I was learning about the car, something seemed odd: the "airbag" warning light on the dash would light-up intermittently. Because we're new to Subies, I wasn't sure quite how to interpret the user manual, but one way could mean a serious safety problem. So, I called Skye Autohaus asking them if they knew what might be happening. The representative I spoke with invited me to bring the car back for a look-see. About a day later, the representative who sold us the car (who had also been a Subaru service manager in years past) called me saying that I was right to be concerned, and that he had a good idea of what the problem could be and urged me to bring the car in and they would swap-out a certain part that was known to cause this issue. I brought the car unannounced, and moments later a technician was cheerfully replacing the questionable part. It was done so quickly that I didn't even have a chance to open the cold drink I was offered as soon as I got there! Then he and our sales rep answered some other questions I had about how to best take care of the car... ...I don't mean to sound "gushy" about all this, but really, I didn't expect to be treated like family in the purchase process, and we were. And when I came back for help, it was like I was part of the family...and it was genuine. It's *so nice* to have "big dealer" competence combined with small dealer friendliness. I'm *overjoyed* we bought our "new" car here!

Great Experience...

Goodness!! It has been *such* a blessing to deal with the folks at Skye Autohaus. We just purchased our first Subaru through them, and they worked through our difficult circumstances to us into a car that both met our needs and many of our wants. We were in urgent need of a vehicle and we have had a lot of medical debt in our credit history - despite our difficulties here Skye's staff worked with us to find a lender who would deal with us, with rates we could budget. In the meantime, they helped us learn about Subarus and let us drive several of their vehicles AND they never pressured us to buy or to buy a certain one of their vehicles - they let us explore and lead the process. They also had a great deal of patience with us as we worked through the decision process, then the process of adding an extended warranty, even re-doing the paperwork several times to get everything just as we wanted it (as we discovered things we needed & wanted - we go many years between vehicle purchases, so we're hesitant & picky). And when we settled on a car and had the car inspected by an independent mechanic, they resolved all the issues the mechanic had found with the car! Also their mechanics check for and handle some of the usual preventive maintenance issues with the higher mileage cars - something I've never heard of any other dealer doing. In addition, they can offer things like tires and repairs at a lower cost than the "Big Building" dealers. All in all, they gained our trust and made us feel like family**. **(Oh, and here is another thing...maybe not so important to many, but it tells of their character: I am a transgender person and they were *always* kind, friendly and respectful of my special circumstances. You can relax knowing that you will be treated similarly whatever your life circumstances.) We've had a chance to enjoy our 2008 Outback for a while, and we are thrilled with our purchase. I'm about to call them to see about some accessories...

Sue and John Korrow

We knew we wanted a second Subaru and shopped at various dealerships. Skyhaus was by far the best from the start. Their casual, no pressure introduction to the incredible variety of mostly Subaru's in the lot won us over. Knew we would purchase a car from them but didn't expect it to be that same day! We did not want to risk losing our luxury car at a fabulous price. Extremely fair price for our trade in as well. Thanks to Ed for a most memorable experience. We will refer family and friends!

Excellent buying experience!

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Thanks to Eddie. He was so professional and had a great personality which actually made the buying process enjoyable. The entire transaction from Eddie helping me decide on what was best for me to the finance went so smooth. I ever grateful for Eddie and dealerships out there such as auto skyhaus for not being the haggling type. I even received a follow up call from him to see how I was enjoying the car. Great service! Great atmosphere 5 star dealership for sure.

Great experience buying a car! Ask for Eddie Izlar

Excellent experience for buying a car! No haggling , just great service across the board! Eddie was so professional and helped me find just what I wanted and listened to my questions and concerns. Have bought many cars in my day and this is by far the best customer service I've ever experienced. The length Eddie went to to make the deal go smooth meant the world to me. He even followed up with me days later to see how I liked the car and expressed if I needed anything from service to questions he'd be available to help! I can't say enough about Auto Skyhaus. Five stars for sure! Thanks again Eddie for such a pleasant experience. I'll for sure be back when I need another Subaru!! Best car on the market

What a wonderful buying experience

We had a wonderful buying experience at Skye Auto Haus in Weaverville NC. We were in the market for a Subaru, and from the phone call to the financing to the fixing and leaving, it was great. Travis took great care of us and the owner helped by doing and extra that meant much in increasing our satisfaction with the process. Thank you for not overselling nor putting pressure on us in deciding which vehicle to buy.
