From Old to New - This Team Does It All!!
I went in for service for my RAV4 and ending up buying a new car. I can not say enough about the terrific customer service experience, from the time I pulled in with my old car at the service center to when I drove off the lot with my new car. Everyone was a delight to work with. I highly recommend them for service or purchase!

Ask for Mironda at Bergland Toyota. SHE's GREAT!!
MIRONDA - she's great so ask for her!!! It's very difficult buying a car now with the shortages. I wanted a very specific car and called many dealerships in the midatlantic region for a black corolla with a tan interior and blind spot. NO ONE called me back, but Mironda took the initiative and called a month later to tell me she found one! She is on the ball, kind, and not pushy or rude as some in this field can be. She worked hard to get me what I wanted. Also this dealership doesn't have a "market adjustment" now like most do, so you can save $2,000 by driving to Lynchburg for a nice lunch and a new car from an hour and a half away.

Stay Away
It only takes one bad experience to completely ruin your view on a business. Sadly that happened today and I will not be purchasing my next vehicle from here. SHOPPERS BE WARNED. I have purchased two cars previously from Berglund Toyota and had great experiences. Today David Agosta turned me against returning to Toyota Berglund for future business. As a sales person I understand it is your job to buy a car at the lowest possible price and sell a car at the highest and then of course bartering is expected. What isn’t expected is attitude from a sales person. David learn how to speak to a potential customer with basic curtesy. Learn to listen without rolling your eyes. Don’t interrupt someone while they are speaking, and lastly treat everyone with RESPECT. While I may have appeared to you as a young female that lacked the basic understanding as to how this business works, you were wrong and I was insulted. Learn to be better. Whoever is David’s manager needs to have a serious talk with him about customer service etiquette.

Gotta go to Berglund Toyota in Lynchburg!
You will be doing yourself a disservice if you go anywhere else to shop for a car in Lynchburg other than Berglund Toyota. John Pollard was our salesman. He was fantastic! The whole team (sales, finance, GM) worked so hard on a deal for a 1-for-2 trade-in (one used truck for two used SUVs). John was so friendly, yet professional. He spent all the time in the world with us, trying to understand our needs. He went above and beyond to make the deal happen. He really did! It's just so hard to find this level of service anymore. They have a great selection of new and used vehicles, Toyota and other brands. You will certainly find what you're looking for here. Give Berglund a shot. Ask for John. You WON'T be sorry!!

Truly treat you like family!
It's Thanksgiving - a time when you think about the past year and what you're thankful for. Pretty near the top of the list is the Berglund Toyota family. This is a long overdue rating, but life got a 'little' (a LOTtle) hectic when we met them. They are truly family now because they took care of my father-in-law like he was family. By the grace of God he ended up stranded there when his dementia hit. His car was not driveable and even if it was he was in no condition to get behind the wheel again. It was a 6 hour drive for us to come get him which put us there way after their normal closing time. The whole staff kept him entertained, fed and safe during the workday! Their service manager went above and beyond (understatement) taking care of him after hours. They did an outstanding job on the necessary repairs to the car as well. I could go on and on but just know this is TRULY a place that treats you like family!

Service has gone WAY downhill!
We took our low mileage 2008 Tacoma for an oil change, which we have done regularly for years. The "service adviser" had a hard time understanding that we wanted synthetic oil, but finally got it straight. When we went to pick up the truck, it had absolutely NO OIL in it. Apparently they drained the oil, but neglected to refill it. Fortunately, we noticed that the oil light came on, and checked the dipstick, which was completely dry. If the technicians are as clueless as the service advisers, I am inclined to take my business elsewhere.

Best car buying experience
This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Very simple and quick. The staff was awesome to deal with and there were no tricks. Stan was great. I will be back to buy another car!
