We were looking for a specific color and option list on an iX. After finding three examples, all a significant distance from our local dealership, and speaking with sales and leasing agents, we chose BMW Des Moines. Jeff Godwin was polite, efficient and thorough. He picked me up at the airport. The transaction was easy. Although it took longer than expected to get the car ready, the time was well spent as Jeff went over the complexities of the car's operation. He prepared me for the drive home, and followed up with phone calls along the way, making certain I had no issues. Clean and modern facility. Everyone was pleasant. The car was clean and detailed. I took advantage of a special on the "protection package" offered at no charge. The price was competitive with other dealerships. I would deal again with Jeff. For those looking for a BMW not available locally, try this dealership. This entire transaction, from initial contact to delivery, could not have been better. No high pressure to buy add-ons and no surprises. Flights to Des Moines are easy, although you probably cannot fly there direct unless from a hub airport. It was nice they provided transportation. A+

Ira is the man!

We had a wonderful experience getting our third BMW. Our original Sales Rep left the dealership and we met Ira who was wonderful to work with. Ira worked closely with us and helped us get the deal we were looking for. Ira has made himself available for future meetings to go over any questions we have with the vehicle. Ira has been great at making sure we are happy with the new car.

I just recently bought a new 2023 BMW M850 Gran coupe.

I just recently bought a new 2023 BMW M850 Gran coupe. I ordered the vehicle with Ira Booker, and he made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process. Not only did he keep me informed, but he also kept me excited. When the vehicle came in, he texted me the same day and set up a delivery for me that worked with my work schedule. He remained extremely professional, and his love and passion for the brand is why I’ve purchased at least 7 new cars from him. He also went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was clean, took lots of pictures, and made sure I knew how to use everything in the car and set up all of the technology on it. I couldn’t ask for a better sales professional to do business with. Ira also continued to follow up with me, making sure I’m happy with the vehicle and answering any questions. The General Sales Manager, Waye, also made it very easy to do business and worked out a very fair deal on the numbers side. Steve the New car manager did a great job also making sure my order was exactly what I was wanting. And Skylar, the finance manager made the paperwork an easy in and out process as well. This is by far my favorite BMW I’ve owned, and best experience I’ve had at this dealership. I strongly recommend doing business locally at BMW of Des Moines, even if you could potentially save a couple more bucks shopping around multiple BMW stores. And make sure to ask for Ira Booker, he’s by far the best sales professional I’ve purchased from. (And I’ve purchased a ton of new cars from many luxury dealerships).

Never Buy A BMW

This Dealership has been terrible from the beginning. I bought the package of free oil changes. They at first tried charging me anyway. Then on my third oil change they told me I could only have two a year. I work an hour away and that was why I bought the free oil changes for life. They charge $200 every time you bring it in for diagnostics only. I called to check on my vehicle and the person actually told me oh, that time is for drop off. Then I said I need the car today can the work still be completed and what is the estimate. They said you are still in the queue and you know you are not the only person in the queue right now (2 hours before close) We still plan on completing the work. They hide this ineptitude and cost saying - Well you bought a BMW you know it is a premium car so costly to maintain and limited people will work on them. Seriously, I owned several cars from Lexus and never had these problems. There are better premium cars that you will enjoy much better service without the attitude and them trying to make you feel stupid so you shut up.

Carson Thomas, Roger Crook and the staff that helped us...

Carson Thomas, Roger Crook and the staff that helped us were fantastic. Carson was extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle we looked at and test drove. He was patient, listened and answered all our questions. He took the time to show us all the features of each vehicle and when the purchase was complete he took the additional time to help me setup the vehicle to my preferences. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
