Finding problem with my hands-free system

After telling the project manager my problem, it took 3 hours and the tech and his supervisor came up that the problem was my phone, as their phones worked. told me that their phones worked. He told me that other service people who tried to help me when I dropped by to get an appointment that their phone had too much technology and that is why it did not work. The staff recommendation was for me to get a new phone, so I did! Upon that purchase, my car still did not work with a total of 4 hours that Verizon staff tried to get things to work, taking it to Geek squad and they told me it was NOT my phone. The Geek Squad also found that there had not been a software update on my car. This was not brought to my attention during my initial visit of three hours. I did again come back to the dealership to ask why this update was not brought to my attention. A staff member was very rude in answering a question that I asked and he was not even who I was talking with. . He had just had a conversation with a disgruntled customer who was very unhappy. After three weeks of working on this problem from my phone provider to other sources, returning a new phone that was unnecessary. I was very unhappy with the service, so I chose to get another dealerships expertise. I was so glad I did! They were very nice and accommodating to my problem. They discovered the problem in 15 minutes after being frustrated with the problem with a car. I spent a lot of money on my car and wanted to enjoy the features that were available for me to use.

Always great service in the service department when I take my Jeeps here. The only suggestion I would make is adding a little more sitting in the waiting area.

Poorest Shop Customer Service Experience Ever

Scheduled to bring my Jeep in the week prior to the Tuesday 7am appointment. Dropped the vehicle off the afternoon prior to the appointment. Service writer left me a voicemail with problem, price for repairs, and promised date to be done which was Friday. Called him back - had to leave a voicemail. Ok’d cost and date to be finished and returned. Then left him another message the same afternoon to ensure he got my message - no call back...Called the service writer Friday morning at 11am the day it was supposed to be done to check pick up time. Had to leave another voicemail. No call back. Went to pick up at 3:30pm. Vehicle repair had not even been started!! Was told might be done by the following Tuesday! Found out the original service writer was off the day I was told it would be ready. Wasted calls to his phone on scheduled pick up day. Left the dealership, called to talk to the Service Manager. He was busy with another customer. Probably busy with another “happy”customer...had to leave him a voicemail...two hours later - no call. I am a patient and understanding person but my ordeal with this service department was over the top unacceptable and flys in the face of their superior customer service ads. My advice - think twice about getting anything but an oil change done at this dealership and always insist on talking directly to the service writer on any and all required follow up calls.

Bought used Honda CR-V

The test drive and buying experience was good and efficient. However, when I asked to have the shop check out a rattling noise before my 5 day money back guarantee ran out, they tried to tell me their schedule was full until after the 5 days. My salesman had to take it to his manager to get it approved to leave it with them and set me up with a loaner car. After getting my car back on the 4th day after purchase, they reported they didn't find anything wrong. I was left with the decision to keep it and get used to the rattle sound or to get my money back after only driving it for 2 full days after purchase, I chose to keep it. So far the vehicle has been good and I am getting used to the rattle sound. I later did my own research and read that 2014 CR-V's are known to have this issue but it won't effect anything else negatively on the vehicle.

Great customer service. I love my Jeep!!

Found my Grand Jeep Cherokee online. Sales manager was great. I flew into Denver and they even picked me up from my hotel. They made sure everything worked and filled my gas tank. I would definitely buy from AutoNation again.

trouble shooting on Jeep's technology

Have had difficulity in using the feature on my Jeep that allows me to make hand free calls. Had a previous repair, but after a while was unable to use this feature on my car. After some time, the tech and his supervisor were able to locate the problem. I appreciated all their expertise and effort to locate the problem.

Service Appointment Review

WiFi didn’t work, and I had to wait for my vehicle and planned to work from my laptop. A work station or counter height seating would be nice for people planning to wait and work off of a laptop or tablet. Waiting area could use a major update.

2008 Jeep Liberty Repair

One of the worst repair experienced I have had in over 40 years of owning motor vehicles. The service advisor, AJ, was terrible at communication. I had the vehicle towed in and provided two phone numbers to reach me. I informed them that the problem was likely the TIPM, which had failed before. When they decided to replace the negative cable and service the battery to restore power, he texted the suggested repair to my daughter. She forwarded the text to me and I called, several times, before finally reaching him and discussed and authorized that repair. It took several calls again to reach him for a status update the next day to have him say that they think the problem is the TIPM. Then is took until the next week, because he was off and no one else cared or covered his customers to get a response that Chrysler would not cover their part. I had to get the service manager Wes to call me to even get a status. The Jeep ran, but the mark up on the TIPM was over 50% of the MOPAR price and they lied to me on the power repair. They DID NOT replace the cable. They cut off the end and put a lead terminal on and replaced the battery, which was still serviceable, with a cheap 40 month MOPAR battery. They did not inform me of that until I read the invoice. They also charged me the core charge for the TIPM even though they kept the part. They did refund that $125 when I challenged them on that issue, but have yet to respond to my email on refunding the associated sales tax for the core charge. Overall I should have made the repair myself, saving money and time. These guys have NO CONCEPT of customer service.
