READ MY REVIEW!!!

LOOK NO FURTHER....I DID ALL THE RESEARCH FOR YOU!!!! After spending 2wks looking online and the surrounding car lots for my sister in-law she came across Precision Auto Sales. Since pictures can be very deceiving online we always go to the dealership and look in person. We went to so many dealerships around that area, many of the car pics inside/outside shown online were false advertisement and very disappointing. Precision Auto Sales had the Mazda 3 that she's been looking to buy. We were greeted by David, he was very friendly and not overbearing like some sales associates. You can tell that they take great pride in wanting to sell a dependable used car at a decent price. I was amazed that the pics we seen online of the car reflected exactly what the outside/inside of the car looked like. The car was inspected, had new tires, and completely detailed. I will also add that their prices are "spot on". Since we have been looking for this specific car, we already knew the retail value and it was a surprise that they weren't overpriced like ALL the other dealers. Who wants to sit at a car lot for hours trying to negotiate a price??? Not me!!! Being that they keep their prices very competitive and low, they really understand their customers needs when buying a used car. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have wasted any time on any of the other dealers in that area. Beware of car lots that don't have their cars clean, inspected, or the inspection expires in a couple months. You will know which dealers take great pride in what they are trying to sell by the first minute you're there. I walked around a few lots and not one person came out to great me. Their loss and David's win! I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a car. I can't express enough how great it was to go look at a car where the pics online actually represented what you'll see. Their prices are so competitive that you won't find a better place to buy a used car for the value of your money.

Great Car Buying Experience

I was looking for a used car for my daughter to take to college. After several weeks of searching, she found the car she liked at Precise Auto Sales which is an hour away from where we live. Dave was very helpful and accommodating. Like my title says it was a great experience, no pressure, no rushing, he even stayed open a little later so we could complete the paperwork and drive the car home that day.

Fast and Easy Car Buying Experience

We spent a couple weeks looking around online for a used minivan because we have a two year old and I am enormously pregnant. We did not have the time or desire to hem and haw for hours at dealerships only to leave because the price was too high or the trade in value bad or the car that was advertised wasn't there anymore. We found a 2009 Dodge Caravan SXT listed at a good price at Precision Auto Sales, and decided to check it out. We were able to pull up, mention the car, look at it, and be out test driving it with our toddler (in her filthy but easy to install seat) in probably 15-20 minutes. While we were out the dealer got an official value for our trade-in, so we could just get on with the purchase when we got back. What a relief! None of the back and forthing that we have experienced at larger dealerships. The car was super clean and ran great. We liked it because it was what we were looking for; we did not feel any pressure at all. The dealer was really nice and laidback about the whole process. We were able to combine the trade-in with cash to buy it outright, which probably helped speed the process, but we were on the road home by naptime! All in all we only spent a couple hours max on the whole experience which was a dream come true for a pregnant lady with a wild toddler in tow! tl;dr: Fast, Easy, No Pressure, Happy Pregnant Lady and Toddler

Great service!

I just recently bought a 2008 Jeep Patriot from here and fell in love with the car before I took it home! David was very helpful with the process to get me qualified for my auto loan. My new car was extremely clean with not problems. Overall it was a great experience going through this dealer! I would recommend anyone going there for their next car. They really have a great customer service at precision auto sales!!

great service, great cars!

my husband & I spent 3 weeks searching & researching used cars & dealerships in the Pittsburgh area & decided to call precision auto, since we found good reviews about their service & cars. we initially spoke to david on the phone & he was very helpful with our inquiries. when we arrived to test drive our chosen car, he was extremely friendly & answered all our fear ridden questions with a smile. we bought our equinox & even after a quick return with a small, quickly settled issue, we are very pleased with it. we would highly recommend precision auto to anyone looking for a good used car.

Friendly and Fair Service for a Quality Minivan

I have been searching for a new minivan on Cars.com for the past week. I was getting ready to purchase a vehicle when a new car popped up in my search last night. The car had low miles and was in the right price range. When I stopped by to look at the car this morning I met David the salesman at Precision auto. He was very friendly, helpful, and never pushy. He knew his inventory well and was very familiar with the car we were interested in. He gave me a good price for my trade-in and was very helpful through the negotiation and paperwork phase. I would certainly recommend Precision Auto Sales to my friends. Thanks for a great car!

Dissatisfied customer

In late Febuary I was in the market for a SUV .. I was doing some shopping on line an found wat I thought was a really nice Jeep..Patriot ! When I came to see it and got in to start it .. It didn't start, David got in and it started right up.. He said it wasn't in park the whole way .. Well that should have been my first clue! After driving it I really liked it ! So I asked if he had a lift there to inspect the underneath , he told me no. So I tell him I'm intersted in buying .. No financing but I want to have it looked at by my mechanic .. He said no.. It's to far to take it because I live an hr away.. But it has this warranty and it's a good vehicle .. So I decide to buy it! I take it to my mechanic who I've been going to for 7 yrs and he lifts up and shows me that it was takin off road and had mud caked through the engine and has damage .. Then they also find that the battery was too small , it wasn't holding a charge .. The sway bar needed replaced.. It need bushings. After finding this out I was very upset ! 2 days later .. It is in my garage and won't start! So I call and speak to Dave and he tells me to take it out if park and put it back in and wat do you know .. It started rte up !!! So at this point I knew that David lied to me from day one ! After speaking to him about these issues.. They were going to fix the swaybar and missing lugnut and screw on the front tire but not the bushings because the were only ( going bad). But I had to drive an hr away to they're mechanic.. Who was also very rude ! So after all if this hassle and grief I decide that I'm getting rid if it! Not worth the headache ! I would never buy another vehicle there or send anyone else there! He is aggressive with his pricing because they sell damaged vehicles and don't have them inspected before selling !

Dealer response

First, we're sorry for the way you're feeling about the vehicle you purchased from us. It is always our goal and hope that the customer continues to be happy with their decision to have done business with us. Although we have every vehicle inspected and gone over, sometimes an unforeseen issue arises within a few days of purchase which has always been our policy to help. We even include a 6 month/7500 mile warranty with our vehicles at no additional cost to the customer! We do this because even though we do all we can to make sure the vehicles are serviced and ready, there are things we cannot foresee and want the added reassurance that a warranty provides. Tricia called and informed us she had her mechanic look over the vehicle and brought to our attention the battery, missing lug nut, the rear control arm was "bent" and that the front sway bar bushings were "going" bad, we suggested it be taken back to the mechanics shop that had performed the initial inspection. In the mean time, we paid for a new battery based on her mechanics suggestion and the "starting problem" was a minor linkage adjustment. We also agreed to pay for the missing lug nut and the rear control arm but wanted the work to be performed at the mechanics shop that had originally worked on the vehicle. To help simplify the process we gave Tricia the mechanic shops phone number knowing it would be easier for the two parties to figure out the best time for vehicle to be seen. Due to time constraints, at Tricia's request, we had the mechanics shop pre-order the necessary parts so they would be there waiting. On the day Tricia had scheduled her appointment, there was a voice mail letting us know she could not make it because of a sick child and she would reschedule. We have not heard back from her until this review. As with any vehicle, new or used, both will need maintenance at some point. We understand there is an expectation of not needing to have repairs done immediately after the purchase and are always willing to do whatever we can to assist if that occurs. It is our desire to be fair and reasonable at all times and to be clear in our communication and expectations of the customer and us.

Great service!

We were looking for a minivan and having problems with people beating us to the punch. We saw a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan on Precision's website. We called to see if he still had it before heading out to look at it. David was wonderful and accommodating! We had a VERY tight budget to work with, and he made it work for us!!! Would definitely recommend Precision Auto!!!!!

AMAZING!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in, but after doing some research, I figured I'd give it a shot. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I went in to look at the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer that was an AMAZING deal that Dave had on his lot and just fell in love with it. I was looking to trade in my old car and get a new with a comparable monthly payment (or lower) and less interest. After test driving the car I figured I'd give it a shot and filled out a credit app, and I was again, pleasantly surprised to find out I was approved the next day (however, the wait in between made me anxious/nervous understandably). He got me everything I had asked for (comparable payment, less interest, and just an all around more reliable vehicle - especially when winter time comes around). I could not be more thankful. The experience in general was fantastic. I had been skeptical, seeing as I went to a few dealerships prior to visiting his and got nothing but the typical sleazy salesman vibes from everyone; not him, though, he really is a "straight-shooter" (so to speak), and even made the process easier by joking around with me here and there to lighten the mood. And the six month/7500 mile warranty that he gives with all of his vehicles is a great deal too. Thanks Dave, I'll be passing the word along to anyone looking for a new car to check your lot out!
