OK Service, but disappointed
Overall, I would say my experience was OK. Eric the salesman was excellent! He was very personable and friendly and funny but professional which was nice to see. He was NOT pushy like most carsellers, which I loved. Unfortunatley, when he was not there I was not satisfied. When I left my car seemed to be going perfectly, then the next day the brakes had to be pushed all thenway to the floor to stop or even slow down. J brought it right back it as offered by the manager and the issue was fixed. After having the car for a few days I noticed the ipod connector does NOT work, which I absoultly have to have, (one of the reasons i likedthis car so much) and cosmetically theyre so parts that need to be fixed. Mind you, I bought a 2009 kia optima, and didnt sit there and bother them about the price and negotiate. there is a rust spot on my car I was told would be "touched" up but i have to wait a few days to give them the car to do that. The rear fender cover is just full of scratches and little knicks. I told the manager by concerns and he said he would look into the ipod connector and the rust spot. as far as the fender he said "at least you'll be safe driving this car".which really annoyed me. He told me it was 200$ implying that I need to buy it on my own. After all of this, I like my car alot, just upset with the customer service of the manager. The service by Eric though was great & I'm glad he found us looking in the parking lot.

Easy purchasing experience
I have had some very poor car buying experiences, but not at Michael's. I was treated with respect from the moment I walked in the door. There was no high pressure to buy. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Not only have I recommended Michael's to friends, I would definitely buy another car from them.

Customer for life
When it comes to old fashioned customer service and making sure the customer is completely happy, Well, those days are long gone!! Except in East Greenbush at Michaels auto plaza. Mike Severance and Mike the Russian went out of their way to make a deal with me that would fit my extremely tight budget, help me with a very costly lease turn in and get me a beautiful car that I never thought I would be able to afford. I had many issues that had to be taken into consideration, not over the car I was buying, but personal financial obligations. Not once did they say no to anything I asked for and that is rare these days. Before finding these guys I went to Northway Toyota ( The worst ) Mr. Huge who wanted my right arm and first born son, then Michael's. I didn't get a big screen TV but I got peace of mind, a deal I could live with and a warranty that they really didn't have to throw into the deal because it changed a couple of times. I recommend these guys to everybody I talk to and you now have a customer for life! No pressure, No b/s and no gimmick's only customer service and the attitude of no problems only solutions!! The way I see it from my experience, Russia is my friend not Japan!!

good service up front, not so great after
I brought a 2003 Park avenue Ultra. Certainly nice on the outside, but two days after purchasing the car, the engine service light came on, and turns out there was a cylinder 3 misfire, which I found in layman's terms, $500.00 for new plug kit. Not covered Under the limited warranty(car had over 110,000 miles on it), and one of the selling points of the car was it was previously owned by a mechanic. must not have been a good mechanic. It is a buyers beware market, and this is just another lesson in life, and that is it. When I called Michael's auto plaza and spoke to Eugene(the manager), said nothing they could do, since it wasn't covered under the warranty, and if there was anything they could do in the future, to call. I think not. There is no fool like an old fool, and that is me. So my experience started out ok, but left with a bitter taste in my mouth.

BMW X5 35D What a great find and experience!
This was my first experience at Michael's. The whole deal from test driving and to financing was awesome. I work a lot, so for me to find time is really difficult, but these guys went out of their way finding me the best interest rate, and made this paper work process very easy. I love my car, and the price I got from Michael's Auto Plaza. These guys LOVE what they do for living ,and you will feel that the minute you walk into their office. Again, thank you guys for fitting me into such a beautiful car. My kids love love love our BMW.

Incredible Experience!!
I have purchased many cars through used car dealers in my past but I've never had such a pleasant experience as the one I had at Michael's Auto Plaza. I knew right from the get-go which car I wanted and the folks at Michael's never tried to sway me or talk me into any other vehicle. Frankie, Michael and Eugene were extremely professional and never once looked down on my terrible credit history. They knew which car I wanted and they made sure that I got that car! Before I could pick up the car of my dreams, these men made sure it was in top notch condition, having it checked out by their very capable mechanics. I had the best experience ever at Michael's Auto Plaza. Mike worked especially hard to get me into the vehicle I wanted. Purchase of 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer
This is an excellent location to purchase a vehicle. They have such a huge selection and very competitive prices. It was pouring rain the day I went to test drive the vehicle I purchased and when I came back inside the salesmen Frank was waiting for me with towels to dry myself off with and a new shirt to wear. I mentioned a few small things that I had noticed about the vehicle when driving it and informed Frank about them. He took it upon himself to make a list of the issues and ensured they were all completed they day I went to pick my vehicle up. They even put brand new front brakes and rotors on it which I didn't even inquire about. A check engine light also popped on a couple of days after having the vehicle as well. I placed a call to Frank and also spoke to Eugene about the issue and they were more than helpful in scheduling a time that would fit my needs so I could bring it back to the shop to resolve the issue. I was treated very well and was made to feel more as a guest than just a customer. Michael's Auto takes pride in what they do and are quick to ensure their customers complete and total satisfaction. We had a really great experience at Michael's Auto Plaza. Just want to say thank you to Frank-- he did a fabulous job helping us make the right choice in purchasing a car for our teenage son. When we first went to Michael's, we already had another vehicle chosen at another dealership. Frank was honest with us and didn't try to push us-- he just showed us our other options. His sincerity is what made us decide to do business with him instead, along with the great deal he offered us.
