I drove 150 miles to test drive a 2009 Mini Cooper S with just under 21,000 miles on the odometer. When I arrived at the dealership, Matt--the friendliest salesman in North Carolina--met me at the door and we took the immaculately clean, impeccably detailed Mini for a test drive. Prior to looking at the car, I had exchanged several phone calls with Matt to make sure the car would be available and I could see it the next day. The sales manager had the paperwork finished within minutes of my deciding to buy the car, Matt filled the tank with gas, and I was on my way home with absolutely no fuss, hassle, or high-pressure sales pitches. It was the easiest, most pleasant car purchase I had ever made. I would definitely recommend Cosmo Motors to anyone interested in buying a pre-owned vehicle. Ask for Matt; he's a pro.

Customer Service above and beyond
I drove 750 miles from Chicago to trade my 2005 Porsche 911 for a vintage air-cooled Porsche 993 . When I arrived the 1997 Porsche was parked outside fully detailed, top down, and ready to go. The overall condition of the car was better than I expected making me feel like the 12 hour drive was worth it . My trade was quickly appraised and the value we agreed upon on-line was honored. Paperwork and title transfer was painless, the Business Manager even caught a $235 error and credited me for the amount. To break up the trip I was spending Saturday night with relatives who live a hour north of Hickory and planned to drive back to Chicago the early the following morning. After arriving at my Sister's I attempted to put the car's top up but it stopped short of the windshield header and wouldn't go all the way up or for that matter down. Faced with either driving back to Chicago with the top only 98% up or postponing my trip home until it was fixed, I elected to call the owner Cosmo for help. Without hesitation he dispatch Bryan one of his tech who drove an hour out of his way home on a Saturday night to fix the issue. I attempted to give Bryan a tip but he refused saying that the issue was brought on by the installation of a new convertible top. Great guys, only wish they were closer!!

I just bought a Callaway Corvette online from Cosmo Motors and I am very satisfied. Matt Glover was very helpful, courteous, polite and definitely not "high pressure". He replied to all of my texts, emails and phone calls promptly as well as demonstrating knowledge and patience with my questions. He also arranged to have my car delivered to my door for a reasonable fee. It was nice to do business with a fellow car enthusiast as opposed to just another salesperson. I am glad to have discovered these guys and will definitely give them a look when I am ready to purchase another vehicle.

my experance
Bought a corvette that had a ton of issues and a lot of quick cover ups to get it out the door. I had to drive several hours to get here and I missed a lot of issues with my car. When I got there the sales staff were great as far as being helpful. They made me feel comfortable enough to buy a (as is car) with telling me that they would take care anything that was wrong if it was like that when it was sold. After about two month of a having it to the shop for its first oil change. That when it was discovered that front end had been improperly installed, no horns, and bad balancer. When I called back up there for the sales manager, I got the owner got phone and was extremely hostile. It turns out that there is nothing wrong with the car and every mechanic in the RDU area has no idea how to look at modified Corvettes. That why I have spent 2,300 at Mayhem Motorsports in the first few months just to bring this up to par and make this safe to drive. This car also went through a state inspection at this dealership. So I was wondering how does a car pass inspection without horns. The sales staff seemed to be really great people with good customer servicer. They also had a lot of really nice cars in there, and maybe I just got the short straw. But as poorly as the owner himself dealt with my issues I will never go back and never would I send any of my friends there.

2008 Bullit Mustang
A+++ all the way.Being my first purchase of a collectable car I was a little timid about buying with out traveling to actually see the car. Well I did travel 2100 miles round trip and I gotta say I have never been so blown away when I walked in and saw that car in the showroom! perfect is all I can say. To boot Devan was a great guy to deal with, honest as they come and extra patient with all of my questions. This is the place to go when looking for that special car. My special car was a 2002 Thunderbird convertible (turquoise metallic paint). I had been looking for 2 years and by a fluke stumbled upon Cosmo Motors. The car they got me only had 8,200 miles on it. It was like brand new. Joey Smith got me a great deal on the shipping too! Chance the finance manager beat the rates from a major oil company credit union and they both worked to make me happy and went the extra mile above and beyond. I thank you for making my dream a reality. It's so rare to find special people who do a great job and treat you like family. They want to earn your business. My next car purchase will be from CosmoMotors and Joey Smith and I will use their finance manager again. They treated me like family and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Traded for a 2010 Audi A5
Buying a car can be an excruciating experience. It was not at all that way for my wife and me at Cosmo. We live and hour away. I called at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and we were driving away from the dealership by 6:00 p.m. Not a lot of negotiating but there was some "wiggle room". It is a very unique dealership. You will not find the types of cars that they carry at another dealership and every car is immaculate. The showroom is conglomeration of performance/luxury cars. They certainly know how to detail an prep a car for new buyers. The gentlemen we dealt with were easy going and professional. The owner came out and introduced himself before we left which was a nice touch. I would do business here again.

Get what you expect in writing
Buyer beware. I just charged 250 dollars for a "Complete" detail. It was suppose to be a complete detail and for 250 one would expect the same! When I ask why my plastic trim was not cleaned and treated, Cosmo himself said that would have been another 100 dollars. Some of the plastic was done and some not..go figure. Had the same detail quality for 100 dollars less. Very disappointing and the owner was given a chance to make it right. Paid for in advance, our mistake. Why can't people do business straight up? customers...beware. Get what you expect in writing.

I am sorry about the miscommunication that we had. I did offer to fix any concerns you did have to make you happy. A complete detail includes, an exterior wash, clay bar, single stage polish and hand wax, and a complete interior detail. Painting things such as moldings and thing can be done but are not included. We can tire shine the moldings but after a single rainy day it all washes down and makes the entire vehicle look worse. We were recommended to you by your daughter, we did a detail on your daughters car at which time they did just shine the plastics. Anyways, what we did for you on your avalanche that you don't realize is we actually did paint correction. You had extreme acid rain and scratches. This service in not included in any regular detail package that any detail shop offers. To fully correct black paint on an Avalanche like yours with the paint in the condition it was in costs upwards of $500-$700, due to me knowing your daughter and doing previous business with her I had my guys do that included for $250. I had 3 guys on your truck for an entire day. When they were prepping it they even taped up your doors and SEM trim painted all your side moldings. which were gray from weathering. That is also something that no detail shop will do included in a detail. When you came to pick up the vehicle your concern was the plastic bed cover on the trunk of the Avalanche, that you wanted it shined up. I even said that I can have my guys shine it for free but it wont last and not only will it not last but the oily residue will run down the sides of the truck and look terrible after the first time it rains. I offered to take off and repaint all the rear covers and trims with the same trim black paint we did on the moldings which is a permanent fix. this would take a couple of my guys roughly half a day and a few cans of the $15 product. You said you would let me know. I don't believe that you understood what I meant by the difference. Again I apologies for any misunderstanding.

I live in Ohio. I bought my Porsche by just looking at the online pictures and dealing with Matt the salesman. He did a walk around and pointed out any flaws in the car. The dealership handled the financing and shipping to my driveway. The car had a complete service and detailed just as described. I would deal with this dealer anytime. Very nice people. Tom from Ohio
