BEWARE! FAKE PICTURES AND LIES! DON'T TRUST ROAD
DO NOT TRUST ROAD READY USED CARS!!! FAKE PICTURES AND LIES!!! My story. I was an out of state buyer. I saw a listing on cars.com for a Suburban at Road Ready Used Car. The truck had low miles and the condition of the truck looked great according to the pictures (Fake pictures, not of the actual vehicle on the lot). I ran a car fax and the mileage checked out. I then called and spoke with the owner Ron to asked questions about the truck. He answered my questions and stated the truck was a 9 out of 10 (reality, the truck was a 3 out of 10). Ron also bragged about all of the good reviews they had online. I even had my father-in-law call and ask questions. Everything Ron said seemed to make since. I decided to book a flight to Connecticut. Ron did have someone come and pick me up at the airport, which I appreciated. Once at the dealership, a salesman said the Suburban was parked right outside and we should take a test drive. As soon as I saw the Suburban, I knew it was not the same truck in the pictures. The wheels were different and no roof rack rails. I told the salesman that I did not think this was to right vehicle, but he insisted it was. I pulled the listing from cars.com up on my phone and showed the pictures to the salesman. He just ignored me and showed me the VIN # on the door, which was the correct VIN # but not the same Suburban in the pictures. I then started to inspect the truck. I saw dents in the driver side door and a large chip out of the side trim on the passenger side door (trim was perfect in the fake pictures). The salesman started the truck to show me the mileage, but there were too many warning lights for the mileage to show up on the odometer. The CHECK ENGINE LIGHT was on and one other warning light. The salesman said it was from where they washed the engine. I agreed to take the test drive. Once in the Suburban, I noticed the interior was maybe a 3 out of 10. Not to mention there was no center console (THE PICTURES ONLINE SHOWED A CENTER CONSOLE). The condition of the dashboard was so bad the paint was coming off. The leather- wrapped steering wheel felt like sandpaper. The AC knobs had no paint due to wear. The door handle also had lots of wear. (The PICTURES online showed each of these features to be in like new condition, False). When I put the truck in drive I noticed the light on the gauge that tells you what gear you are in was not on. The salesman said that was an easy fix. I pulled out of the parking lot and started down the road. Right away I heard a horrible noise coming from the rear of the truck. The salesman said it was because the tires needed more air. After we went one more block and the noise continued, the salesman said maybe the four wheel drive was stuck, so he asked me to return to the dealership. I took the truck back to the dealership for the mechanic to take a look at all the problems. After 20 minutes and the mechanic still working on the truck, I told the salesman I was not going to buy the truck. The person who picked me up from the airport asked if I was ready to go back to the airport and I said yes. While walking to his car, the salesman yelled to the guy to just take me to the train station instead of the airport because it was closer. Once in the train station I find out that neither the train nor the bus go to the airport. I call back to the dealership and inform them that they have left me stranded at the train station. They tell me I can pay $75.00 for a shuttle from the airport to come get me or I can take the train to Manhattan and then catch a bus to the airport. No help at all! Poor customer service! This dealership cost me a lot of money in flights and shuttle for nothing. Lies, Lies, Lies! Do not trust this dealership!

Old School Integrity
I have bought a lot of cars in my day but when I went to Road Ready Used Cars I knew I was at the right place.The staff love there jobs, you could just tell. No high pressure and if you can't find what your looking for there you got a problem. We have had our car for over a month now and not one problem.They even called about a week after we picked the car to see how things were. A great staff.

Great experience
Saw an ad for Road Ready in my local paper and decided to take a trip. There were two cars that we were interested in. One had already been sold but we saw a similar one. Decided it was not practical for us. Then we saw the perfect car. Low mileage, great condition, loaded with features. Salesman did not try to pressure us into buying something that would not suit us - listened to what we were looking for and helped us get into the right car. Very friendly and knowledgeable - and helpful. Would buy from them again (but only after this current car is paid off)

Very good experience
I just purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion from there. Overall the service was fantastic and they were very helpful with all questions. They got the car in excellent condition upon pickup. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with, and was very honest and informative. I will definitely look there again for my next car. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was because the gas tank was almost empty when I picked it up.

Great Experience at Road Ready Used Cars
I'd like to commend Road Ready Used Cars on a job well done. We had originally been interested in a lower priced older car we'd seen in their listings, but salesman Jim S. and owner Ron gave us a number of other options on newer, better condition cars based on what we were able to put down for a car. No pressure, no hassles. We settled on a 2006 Cobalt in really good shape, a few minor issues were addressed and discussed, and the buying/financing process went smoothly and relatively painlessly. The car was delivered very clean, runs very well and we're very happy with it. We'd shop there again when the need for another car arises. The business is handled in a friendly yet professional way.
