The owner, Jeff is a con artist. I bought a Subaru from him and after 3 months all I had was problem after problem. I have already thrown an additional $5000 into car and are still having problems. At this point it is not worth fixing anymore. Do not trust this dealer for quality, integrity or honesty. Don't be a victim like myself.

My disabled wife,Betsy traveled 50mi. On last Friday afternoon to Torch Light and found the car she wanted. Jeff let her sit in it and encouraged her to buy this 2010 Passat. She was thrilled. She had been looking frantically to replace her Passat after an auto accident. My wife Betsy immediately said. I want to buy this car. I have the cash. She also told Jeff that it would be disrespectful to buy the car at that moment without including her husband,me,in the process.Jeff agreed and encouraged her to come back the next business day with me, her husband, and gave her his business card. The next business day,Monday morning,my wife and I contacted Torch Light by phone in the morning to confirm that we were coming and proceeded to make the 50 mi. Trip with the cash to buy the car. We drove into the dealership and my wife noticed that the 2010 Passat was not in the spot where it was the day before. She also saw the bay door open and assumed that Jeff was having the car detailed for her. We entered the dealership and asked to see Jeff. We sat down in the outside waiting room. Jeff made a groaning noise from within his office and shouted out the office door. "I just sold it." We were in shock. He then at least came out of his office and said "They bought for their daughter who is turning 17. They are next door at the bank." I believe this man was as unprofessional as you can get. We had all cash to pay for this car and at 9 am were driving all the distance to buy the car only to get rudely slapped in the face by Jeff and his dealership, Torch Light. My wife was deeply hurt by this experience. She is still recovering from substantial injuries sustained in her car accident. Then she drives all over creation to find the right car, only to get tricked by Jeff at Torch Light. This place smells of illegitmacy. Stay away.

I don't know if it was a coincidence, but strangely, after a couple of days that the guarantee expired, the car started to have a lot of problems. I spent a lot of money on this car and I hope I can sell it for very cheap so that I don't have to continue paying to have it repaired. My mechanic told me that it's possible that they canceled miles form the odometer, because the problem that this car has are problem that cars usually start to show when they have about 170k (I bought mine that it was 102k and, apparently, in perfect conditions). I won't go back to them again, the car has the breaks of another car, the suspensions xxxxed, engine light always on, the alternator gone, now the car randomly turns off...enough it's enough. When the display was showing errors, the guy told us that it was a misfunctioning spy and that he would have change it...he always found excuses not to meet us. The transmission is also failings. Stay away from Torchlight!

I wish I checked reviews about this dealership before i bought the car, i was insulted , swore at with all kind of street words that you can imagine.( I got the recordings and i have the emails and the contract), now i hate my computer because i have found this dealership, i hate the car that i bought from him.

Jeff was a pleasure to deal with, got me a great rate on a used 2007 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro with only 67,000 miles. looks like it?s barely a few years old.
