I emailed to see if a vehicle was available and get an idea about how negotiable the price was. I got an email from Jeff LaPoff informing me that the Saturn Vue was still available but no mention of if the price was at all negotiable. I informed Jeff that I had found a newer model Saturn Vue for a lower price. His response was " Riiiiight", I found that extremely rude and completely unprofessional. Because of his lack of professionalism I will give my money to someone that shows that customer service is important and that professionals is important for business.

Since I purchased my car from Torch Light I have had various issues. The first issue was covered by a recall from Volvo that Torch Light was not aware of. In fact, they told me to go to their mechanic in the Oranges (NJ) to have it checked out. He is about 30 miles away from where I live. After about 18 months, I started to have other issues. These included the replacement of the drive train, CV joint and rocker arm replacement, and the alternator replaced. None of these are covered under the" bumper to bumper" warrantee I purchased at the time of sale. I was talked into upgrading the warrantee to 5 years (I originally requested 2 years). The latest issue I have is that the radiator needs to be replaced. Once again I have been turned down by the policy that Torch Light sold me. During my first issue (Recall for a fuel sensor in the gas tank), the owner was adamant that I bought the car and it was not his issue. This problem occurred within the first 30 days after the purchase. Since then I have gone to my mechanic for repairs and I am constantly denied coverage. As the saying goes, you buy someone else's headache when you buy used. I expected issues as I bought a used car, but thought that the purchase of the warrantee was a good idea. It was not. I can only guess that Torch Light wanted their commission for the sale. Once the sale was completed, they (specifically the owner) did not want to assist. I strongly suggest that if you are considering buying a car from Torch Light you take the car to your mechanic first. Also, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANNTEE from them. You will pay top dollar and get little if any coverage.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Torch Light Motors. I have never dealt with any auto dealers like this before. They are easy going, not pushy, and genuine. Not only did one person come to greet me after I purchased, but many did. This shows me that I am not just another buyer, but someone that they want to come back. I definitely will.
