About a year ago I needed to retire my commuting car and started shopping. Jeff had a subaru out back that i liked. So I took it for a test ride and after Jeff took the time to educate me on subaru I jumped in with both feet and a year later it's still going strong with no issues. My used car buying experience up until this point had always been horrific. So with out hesitation, when my eldest daughter needed a car for school we drove directly to Torchlight Motors. Once again Jeff was extremely knowledgeable of his cars and after testing out a couple of different cars my daughter fell in love with a volvo s40. We sat down with Jeff he once again educated us on the s40 and after no negotiation ( he doesn't do those, no need to prices are very fair) she was the proud and happy owner of the s40. After a month of ownership, her boyfriends parents were so impressed with the look and drive of this car that they called me to inquire about the dealer. Yes you guessed it, they now have matching volvo s40's except for color. Hang on Jeff my youngest daughter is about 6 months away from needing to upgrade her car and we won't be shopping just driving directly to you. In a world where most people only write reviews when they are bad, I thought I should reach out and recommend outstanding service especially when it's getting more and more difficult to find. Torch Light sells a lot of cars. They price their cars to sell. They aren't hagglers but they aren't overpricing their cars either. The car I purchased was fairly priced. It was in excellent condition. I had a "Used Car Analysis" done by a local dealer prior to purchase. It came up 100% clean. I am happy with the price and happy with the car. Except for the distance I had to travel to get the car, it was a good experience. Jeff tells it like it is. That's a good thing. If you are seeking a good used car at a fair price, particularly a Volvo, this is the place to find it. I spent nearly six months searching for the car I wanted.

My experience with Torch Light Motors has always been a positive one. I bought my Volvo in April 2010 and have not regretted that decision. The service department has taken good care of me over the last almost 3 years.

I bought a S60 there two weeks ago. The check engine light came on the next day, Jeff offered to clear the light when I called, but I was more concerned with FIXING the issue, as it was not the light's presence on the dashboard that was aesthetically displeasing. As expected, he took no responsibility. Since that day, I have had numerous electrical failures, had to replace the battery and the catalytic converter. Last night I was driving and the rear bumper literally just fell off of the car, which finally prompted iaakto write this review, as I no longer have any hope that my satisfaction will improve. Steer clear of this dealer! (And most of these cars are not covered by lemon law, so do not learn the hard way, like me!)

Jeff was great through our entire experience, the car we purchased was fully up to date on service and even had the rear bumper painted at no cost because it was slightly "checked" up with scratches. Overall Jeff was a great easy guy to deal with and although he has no haggle prices I do feel they are extremely well priced compared to any dealer in the areas that we searched. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great deal at a great price. We will coming back for our son's car soon
