Sullivan auto traders was very professional to deal with. I am not a local customer. I'm over 75 miles away. Madison Carter was very professional and trying to help my needs and work with me. Due to a family issue I was not able to make an appointment, but looking forward to do business with this dealership in the future

Horrible dealership after the sale.

Horrible dealership after the sale. Don’t buy here, especially online!!! 3/4 a tank of fuel, only 1 key fob, and no Owners manuals on a low mileage 2020 Acura MDX we paid over $30k for. Buy elsewhere. No contact regarding those issues after the sale. Stay away from Zoya, a younger female salesperson with little or no knowledge of how proper car sales works. Even after speaking with the owner, Will about negotiating a price; we were never contacted after the sale. $400 for a 2nd fob, and $89 for a new set of Owners manuals is ridiculous and should have been the dealers responsibility, not ours…

I usually don’t write reviews but I have seen some negative reviews on Sullivan auto and wanted to provide my perspective. I will say that reading some of the negative reviews worried me as I went through the process but can say with confidence that they were a pleasure to do business with and I would definitely buy from them again. I live in Boston and was purchasing a 2020 Land Rover Discovery from them. The price was definitely the best I saw out there. But since I was buying remotely, they allowed me to get an independent mechanic to do a full inspection and the car came back with good marks (just some minor issues which Sullivan fixed). I was getting the car delivered to Charlottesville which Sullivan took care of and made it very seamless. We’ve only had the car for a couple of weeks but so far so good. The only issue I would bring up is sometimes it was hard to get in touch with people while going through the process and that extended the timeline out a bit but that was a relatively minor issue.

***ALERT*** Stay away from this place.

***ALERT*** Stay away from this place. I bought a car with many issues that turned up even though it was priced as if it was on par with similar models of the same year (2020). Limited info on the Carfax report I found out after the fact. Needed new struts, belts, plugs, and clearly had an accident but somehow disclosed. These guys are shady at best, true used car salespeople. ***AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS***

Hands down,Sullivan's Auto Trading is the best,most professional,car and truck dealership,I've ever delt with.From what they give you for your trade in, to what they charge for the new car,their pricing is customer friendly....Also,they happen to be ,the nicest people I've ever met........The best.......hands down!!!!

Miss Emmah Dooley was there for me from start to finish..she kept me interested about coming in to purchase a 2007 lexus es350 that was similar to the one i had and loved years ago..through emails..car runs and drives great as she mentioned..i’m very happy with the car…Thanks again Emmah Dooley…shot out to Austin and the staff who was there to help me on Oct 28th 2023…thanks!..i highly recommend this Dealership!.

This was my first time buying an AS IS used car from a dealer. Before this I bought 2 used cars from Facebook private sellers. Keep in mind this is a personal experience, I’m not a mechanic or an experience car’s buyer and I’m not trying to say buy it from them or not. I’m just sharing my experience. Also, I found this car after 2 weeks of many house of researching everywhere from Facebook, Offer up, Craigslist, Auto trader, Car guru, Auto sales, etc. PROS: -They let me took the car to a mechanic for an inspection (I did a pre purchase inspection). - They did replace the steering rack that they promised me they were going to change. - Based on the current market, price was fair at first impression. (Miles was 102k miles, which is not easy to find) - $500 off sale price CONS: - They delivered the vehicle to me with expired temporary tags - They forgot to include the new temporarily tags - They were continuously lying or giving me wrong information such as your title is on its way, the next day they were saying something different like it is going to take 7 days. - They promised me they were going to take the care to pass Maryland Safety Inspection but they did not do it. - I took care of the Maryland, the 1st time it failed (I spent around $500 just in parts taking care of everything and this is because my friend is a mechanic. (Remove rear window tint, replace wiper blades, replace caliper, rotor and breaking pads on rear passenger, and replace battery negative cable) * I will do an update of this review after I do the first oil change.

What a racket of place of business.

What a racket of place of business. Spoke to the manager and got the documents sent, drove 3.5 hours to finish the deal and they sold the car. Spoke to their Owner at 8:30 am, 30 minutes prior to the business opening and explained we were on our way, no issues, they looked forward to seeing us. Get a call back 1.5 hours later from the Manager claiming the vehicle was sold. We are probably better off if this is how they treat their customers or possible customers. Wouldn’t have expected this from a reputable business. Guess since we aren’t locals it doesn’t matter!

I inquired with Sullivan Auto Trading about a Honda Pilot

I inquired with Sullivan Auto Trading about a Honda Pilot I was interested in purchasing. All contact on their end took over 24 hours to respond back, but, they were responsive so I went ahead and started the purchase process online (I was buying out of state). They had me send photos of my trade, took all my information, RAN MY CREDIT, told me I was approved, had me send more info through email, etc. After Will told me I was approved, he said it was a brand new addition on the lot and had not gone through the shop yet. Ok, fair. Then...... nothing. So, I reached back out 2 days later to find out if it was ready for sale and was told the vehicle was already sold. Poor customer service and terrible communication. They SHOULD NOT be running peoples credit, approving people for a sale, and taking personal information if they do not intend to hold up on their end of the sale. If I could give negative stars I would.

Fantastic dealership - fantastic deal and service!

Sullivan Auto Trading is a high-integrity family business, which is rare. The owners gave me a GREAT deal on a used Mazda 3 Preferred, well below Kelly Blue Book value. Financing was 2.5 points APR below my favored credit union rate. After test driving, the Sullivan team completed all sale processing on-line which only took about 45 min. Sullivan delivered my car to my home. It couldn't have been easier or more convenient! Sullivan's data analytics software researching comparable deals within 1,000 miles was amazing! I will be referring this dealership to all my friends and family, and I will be back for service as needed. This is an awesome dealership!!
