Good Dealership

A few weeks ago I purchased and 07 VW Passat. I was hesitant at first, since most car salesman consistently get a bad rep sheet. But Sullivan's Auto Trading proved to be a really good dealership. I worked with Will to purchase my car and he made the process easy. He took care of the minor repair that the car needed just as he promised and provided everything I needed and answered all 1000 of my questions. I'd recommend this dealership to everyone. Everyone there was helpful.

Worst Used. Ar Buying Experience

Purchased a 07 Lexus in May and its August. The car has spent 3.5 weeks in their shop. Yes, they try to make good. But, now it's getting ridiculous on how many issues have come up. First thing was a oil and transmission leak noticed within 15mins of getting car home. Took in and they said it was power steering pump. So they replaced. Nope...wasn't that. So still leaked and took back and it sat on their lot for a week because they forgot about working on it. Finally the mechanic said he fixed it. So brought home. Two weeks later it was leaking all over again. That mechanic had only used sealant around leaks and didn't fix issues. So then they said all seals needed replaced. Well 2 weeks later, we went and pick up car, there was a huge scratch on front bumper, my change/money was missing from holder. Three CDs were gone. So once again we took back to get bumper painted. Yep, they painted.. Color doesn't match and my parking sensors fell in. My husband looked under car to push sensors in the hole. Well...apparently the body man that put bumper back on. Broke the clips and used yellow painters tape to tape it in place. That didn't last long. Well, yes we aretaking car back in for them to fix that issues. Yes..they have tried to fix the car.. But it's been alight are and I hate the car!!

Five Star Experience

My husband and I were not looking forward to buying a car because of our last experience at a dealership. But Sullivan's was a completely different experience. They were friendly, honest and not pushy. Austin let us take the car to a mechanic and get it looked at (the mechanic found nothing). He also gave us an excellent price for our trade-in.

Best for First Car!!

I just recently bought my first car here. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I looked other places And none of them were as nice or fair priced. They were just trying to suck money out of me. But when I came to Sullivan everyone was very nice. The original car I was looking at was bought the day before I came in to pay for it. (My mistake for not putting money down on it, so I thought.) I expressed my dissapointment with Bryce and he was able to hook me up with something much better all around. I'm a full believer that everything happens for a reason, and because of Sullivan Auto I believe I got the car I was meant to have. So far all repairs I've needed have been free and any concerns with the car that I mentioned were fixed before I drove off the lot. I highly suggest going with their extended warranty because it involves just about everything that could go wrong. I will be with Sullivan until I move. Five stars all the way! Love you guys!

Exceptional company!

My husband and I were very thankful that we found Sullivan's thru USAA ins. co. as a certified dealer. After my car was totaled by a reckless driver, it was overwhelming trying to locate a replacement car. We bought a Toyota Highlander and added a warranty package. Sullivan's is a full service operation and they made any repairs that we needed there at their shop. Will made our lives easier in finalizing all thru USAA. We live hours away from Sullivan's but it was worth the drive to work with a family owned business who cares about their clients. Will stated that we can have our oil changed for a minimal amount and our inspection for free when I travel to work in the area. We know that the next time we need to buy a car that we will go thru USAA and Sullivan's to find a car. Thank you Sullivan family for all of your professionalism and caring.

Hucksters???

Facts: purchased a 2008 BMW 328i on 5/29/15, for $11,437.04 - 100,826 miles. Since purchase, have spent $3,602.74 to correct major problems with this car. Most recent repair by the top BMW dealership in Richmond noted the following: "found right rear wheel bearing to be worn out. rotors to be incorrect for vehicle. as well as axle on right rear to be aftermarket as well as ill fitting possibly causing bearing failure. found both output shaft seals to be leaking at rear diff. replaced bearing, axle, rotors and diff seals." Net/net, I believe these guys are hucksters and cannot be trusted - can't prove they are at fault, but seems very strange that all problems would occur just beyond their 30 day/1000 mile warranty. Suggest any purchase from Sullivan be inspected very, very carefully. As for me, I'll loudly and longly advise everyone to avoid these folk.

What more could you ask for!

Buying a car here was one of the best experiences I have ever had with only one caveat. The pluses include great response time, what seemed like a fair price for the car I purchased and it was everything I wanted and more. There was never any pressure to purchase - a really big plus in dealer relationships. My salesman was relatively new to the business of being a salesman but that did not get in the way of his drive and motivation to make sure I was happy. The staff worked hard to make sure that my needs were met. The caveat I mentioned had to do with a really simple thing - doors locking with the remote key. I never would have checked myself but on a test drive I stopped to get coffee and I always lock my car. I was surprised that the dealership hadn't caught that one. The repair was done without question but the miscommunication among repair personnel and the sales staff cost me an entire day at the location - only because I drove 65 miles to get there. Even here there was a convenience as lunch was provided to me and my companion driver by my salesman. You don't get much better than that! Highly recommend these folks.

The best car buying experience we've had!

We found Sullivan's while researching on-line. When we got there, we found Austen Sullivan. He was extremely helpful and not at all pushy. We had 2 cars in mind to see/test. Both were economy/fuel efficient and relatively inexpensive. He showed us those cars with no attempt at shoving us into more expensive vehicles (which had been our experience at 2 other places within the past week!). We chose a car, shopped our loan - they offer financing at good rates, but in this case our credit union beat it. The process took just a couple of hours and we were on our way in our new (to us) car. They had a good selection, are up front about their pricing, and the CarFax reports are readily available - this was important to us. They offer inexpensive oil changes and free inspections as a part of the deal as well. Shop here!

Great Experience

Great experience. Honest and personal people. No haggle or hassle. Extremely proffesional at every step of the buying process. I can see us becoming customers for life. They went the extra mile for us on every request to the extent financially possible. I will definitely be calling them for our next purchase. They are also Christian run and operated and that perosnally means a lot to me. if you are not a Christian thent he values I saw during my experience will still mean a lot to you!
