A Joke!

I wasted 4 hrs driving to a place that lied and said a 60k truck was in good shape! Paint peeling off the bumpers. Paint peeling of the Emblems. Scratches and chips all of the interior! I asked several times in a phone conversation if the truck was clean and good shape. The moon roof in the truck was also not working at all! They knew i was coming to look at the truck. Had the money in hand to the deal that they agreed upon on the phone. After all this they sit me down in the office and tell me they priced my current truck i was trading in wrong. The differance was another 3K They said they thought it was a Lariat! I gave them the VIN! You dont look it up before you shoot the customer a price!! Shame on YOU! I wasted 8hrs yesterday driving 4 hrs each way! Not even a follow up call or anything to say they are sorry. Stay away people they lie and are not up front! They said several times while i was pointing out the issues with this 2017 F250 Diesel for 60K... it is a used truck you know!!! Matt Boye

So easy to buy a new car!

We found the vehicle we wanted online, made an appointment for a Saturday morning and they had the car ready for us to test drive. No pressure, no hard sell. We were very happy with the whole experience and are thrilled with our new vehicle!

Don’t waste your time at big city dealers!!!!

Went to Rockford Ford and also Janesville Ford. They both knew nothing about F-250/350 trucks and how to spec them out based on my needs. I wasted hours/days that I will never get back. Met Kiefer at Bryden Ford in Durand, while looking at used trucks in parking lot. He knew everything about big trucks and we narrowed down my needs in 30 minutes. They happened to have a 2016 F-350 that was a perfect fit for me! They provided a fair price on my trade in and fair selling price on my new truck. Deal was done in about an hour. Also met Scott Bryden the owner: honest people and easy to work with. No B.S. at this dealership!!!!

The experience was stellar.

We couldn’t be more pleased. The rig is perfect. All staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. No reservations; would highly recommend Bryden dealership.

Good People.

My wife and I worked with Scott Hawkins, the salesman at Bryden, on a F150. The process was smooth and patient. We have bought 3 of our vehicles from Bryden. Also, I wanted to mention George GeRue was part of this process. Thanks for the cooperation. Jeff S.

Not your typical sales people

This is the best experience I’ve had a dealership by far. Most places have thirsty, pushy sales people that hound you like you’re meat. The staff and sales people were down to earth and easy going. I bought my car the same day and will look to them when it’s time for another purchase.

Mr Bryden is just another "USED CAR SALESMAN"; MILEAGE ISSUE

I will NEVER Buy another Thing from this Arrogant xxx of a Dealer as I have purchased dozens of vehicles in my lifetime and these guys take the cake. After depending on Mr Bryden's sales manage, Jeff to be my eyes and ears on a King Ranch F 250 truck I could not see and he has his own wife Rene drive the car to me in Florida, it arrived with: 1) Broken AC Compressor 2) Broken Shifter that could make the truck jump into Reverse. 3) A Locked Up Rear Caliper and a Left Rear Brake lining that was Swiss Cheese 4) Bald Rear Tires 5) Diesel Puffing 6) Broken CD player All in All it cost me over $3,800.00 So the Savings of Purchasing Out of State were wiped out Plus I had the hassle of running around getting everything repaired that THIS IDIOT should have done. So basically this dealership sent the GM's wife on a trip without properly checking the safety of the vehicle and not only put her life in jeopardy but mine as well as I towed and could not figure out why the brakes were not stopping. UPDATE: I now have found out that the MILEAGE HAS BEEN ROLLED BACK 75,000 miles ON THIS VEHICLE RIGHT BEFORE Mr Bryden bought the Truck making this Truck a 200,000 MILE Truck. NO WONDER 2,000 miles Into Owning the Truck the HEAD GASKET AND BOTH HEADS FAILED OUT OF STATE ON ME AND COST ANOTHER $6,000.00. What is a FORD DEALER Doing Selling a Truck with Mileage and Other Above Issues? Because Scott Bryden is an Greedy Arrogant xxx. That's why. After politely explaining this to the owner Mr Bryden, he was so arrogant in his email that it prompted me to write this EXACT TRUTHFUL REVIEW as Mr Bryden does not seem to give a crap about anyone BUT HIMSELF. SO F OFF STEVE and I Hope You Use Your Profits Up on Medical Bills.,, xxxxxxx. Hope you go out of business.

Dealer response

It's worth noting this person, on or around April 16, 2018, signed on the line that said, "This vehicle sold as is with no warranty as to mechanical condition. True Mileage Unknown" because he knew those were the terms of sale. Now, he is shocked about the mileage and that he bought an as is truck. Another item he doesn't mention is BRYDEN FORD PAID HALF OF THE AIR CONDITIONER REPAIR. We had no obligation to, but did so as a courtesy. Also, our General Manager, Jeff Price, had his wife drive this truck to Florida. He would not have done so if he didn't feel the truck was safe. In his email to me, he listed some items he wasn't expecting on the 13-year-old truck with unknown miles and then included "Don’t get me wrong as I like the truck, just all this extra running around and work makes me feel like I have been Flim Flamed." He liked the truck! :) This was my (Scott Bryden) exact response by email on 5/17/18 at 10:32 AM that he claims was so arrogant. I did not sugar coat the wording, however there was no reason to sugar coat a response. "I am out of the office for a few days. I know the truck. I know you wired money to us. I know you drove the truck for a lot of miles before taking Mrs. Price to the airport. I know you agreed to buy the truck as-is. I know you’ve had the truck for a month. I know the agreement you had with Jeff was “If the truck runs and drives and makes it to Florida, I’m happy.” It made it to Florida, it runs and drives, you signed for it, and it’s yours. I still think it’s a good value for what it is. Plus, you didn’t have to take the time and effort to come here and drive it home. We came to you. You haven’t figured that value into the equation. Thank you for your business. We made an as-is transaction on a thirteen-year-old truck with a lot of miles. Jeff made an effort to describe some of the cosmetic defects and anything he knew about the truck – including the odometer discrepancy. We did our best to disclose what we knew. You said, “If the truck runs and drives and makes it to Florida, I’m happy.” It did. Scott Bryden President Bryden Ford Durand, IL"
