Buyer Beware! They sell lemons.

If you want to buy a used car that supposedly passed state inspection before it was sold to you, only to have the car break down after just 28 days and have it out of service for 2 months due to a serious/major transmission problem, then you need to give Cherner Brothers your business. It took Cherner Brothers to 2 months to get the vehicle fixed, during which time the car note had to be paid and the car insurance had to be paid. While trying to get them to fix the vehicle, I had to endure rude, unsympathetic customer service. Even had one of the sales managers attempt to rudely talk over me. A complaint with the Maryland Attorney's Office has been filed over this situation. Say no to Cherner's Brothers.

SIGH of RELIEF

I dealt with Cherner Bros 3 or 4 years ago and it was an odd and great experience. After months of waiting for insurance companies to resolve the insurance issues then online "shopping", personal issues with "advice" from too many people, I called Cherner Bros and ta-da in 2 days I spoke with David, they had a vehichle that was on my list of what we wanted, my loan application submitted and approved and the next day we drove the new vehicle home. Thanks to David, to Mary Carmen, loan officer.

The most worthless group of people I have ever dealt

The most worthless group of people I have ever dealt with. Three hours before my appointment to purchas a vehicle, I get an e-mail stating the vehicle was just sold. What is the purpose of the appointment to purchase? They could have at least called and asked me to come in earlier, but NOTHING until after it was sold. Apparantly they have no respect for their potential customers. My response was, yes I am still going to purchase a vehicle, just not from your dealership.

BEST CAR SALES IN DC AREA

Michael, the GM was extremely professional, offered a fair price and from that time his communication was excellent. He had staff come down to DC to pick up the car and everything he promised was delivered.

Very responsive and straightforward

We sold our car to Cherner. Great people who are very responsive, direct, and did not change their offer when they found and we told them about issues with the car. I tried another dealer just to have a second estimate and they talked to me about the engine making noises I'd never heard and low-balled the offer.

Ray and David were both professional, helpful, and honest. I highly recommend Cherner Bros if you are looking for a used car. They purchase cars from individuals, not auctions, which can be better, but it's worth talking to them first about financing, as it's different than a big box dealerships financing.
