Kia service at Baton Rouge Kia was a very frustrating

Kia service at Baton Rouge Kia was a very frustrating event. The TPMS system on my EV6 when working shows the tire pressure on each tire and is shown on the display. The tpms quit working and just displays CHECK TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR “SYSTEM” The mechanic after 2 1/2 hours comes out and says that there’s a slow leak in one of the tires it has 36.6 psi and because of this the System is out. Now I’m not a certified kia mechanic but It seems extremely unlikely that a slow leak would cause system failure. I knew the tire had a very slow leak and kept a close watch on it. It was losing about 1 psi in 3 weeks or so. I could write a book about other problems wit my EV6. Main issue is it appears to be wide spread incompetence and lack of training at all kia service locations I have encountered.

Terrible people

My car has been there since July 6th. Went to chabills on June 5th for 2 flats. They found and "fixed" other issues. Couldn't turn off dash lights. They were told they could drop it off to Kia on July 6 at 930. It has been there since I couldn't teach anyone until July 17th. Was then asked was I sure my car was there. Then told my brakes and rotors were gone. And I needed to return the car to chabills after keeping my car all that time. Being told my rental had been up 3 days ago & promised a Loner I never received. Now here I am July 2oth. No rental. Car at kia being told they don't know how to turn off the lights or stop the sound. Yall are KIA!!!! If yall can't turn it off, how will they!! Terrible people with zero integrity. The seltos is anew model probably a lemon if no one knows the codes its throwing including the dealership!!! Make it make sense. Talking to an attorney as we speak.

Run Away!!!

All Star Kia of Baton Rouge on Siegan Lane is a joke! Now, I have to preface this by saying that I have never had any issues with the sales department, but the service department is another story! The service department here is HORRIBLE!!! My car has been there since early January because the service team, if they can legitimately call themselves that, failed to do their jobs. They still haven't sent my extended warranty company the necessary documents to get my claim approved. You can NEVER reach anyone over the phone and when you go in person, everyone is too busy, out to lunch for hours, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable. When you can manage to flag down a service worker, they're rude and make it seem as if you're bothering or inconveniencing them. They refuse to communicate with warranty companies, fail to provide appropriate documentation, and don't care at all about the customer. I had my car towed there because it wouldn't start. They charged me for a diagnostic, said it was the fuel injector and battery and then a week or so later said never mind, you just need to get a new engine. What?! How do you go from needing a fuel injector and a battery to a whole new engine in a few weeks?! They are only after money and couldn't care less about what's really wrong with your car or how to fix it! Please save yourself the trouble, headache, and frustration and just go somewhere else for service...seriously, anywhere else!!!

This was a rude nightmare.

This was a rude nightmare. I'm copy and pasting my Facebook post as to not waste any more of my time on a company that made me feel like a waste of their time. After being strung along for several days, continuing to be given the same deal I made very clear wouldn't work, I was literally screamed at over the phone, belittled, disrespected, talked to and treated in a way I doubt would have happened if I were a man instead of a woman. After listening to the MANAGER I was speaking with both scream at me and beat his fists on his desk for quite some time, before I was hung up on I was told to "Be Gucci". Be. Gucci. I'm not sure what Kia's policies are but I doubt any of the things I had to deal with yesterday are one of them. By far the most unprofessional and disrespectful company I've EVER dealt with. I highly suggest you take a close examination of your “management" if your company wants to be able to find success against internet dealerships.

Beware

My experience with Kia on Seigan was described as one from xxxx. I had to get my own rental car without assistance from the service advisor and I had to call about my own warranty because the people there were incompetent about the warranty process. It was hard to get in touch with someone because no one would answer the phone. My experience was truly a nightmare. Someone broke into my mother's car and stole her eyeglasses, and went through all her personal belongings. The personnel in the service department confirmed this situation, but they could not confirm which staff member opened the car and assessed my mom's personal items and information. I called the police and my mom filed a police report. This is bad customer service.

Oil change

Wait time for oil change is way too long. Was not kept up to date on the progress of my vehicle. Was told when vehicle was purchased that I would get a detailed cleaning with free first oil change. Was informed yesterday they do not detail vehicles so only got a wash and semi vacuum done

They sell cars but not care about the service on the cars...

They sell cars but not care about the service on the cars they sold. I bought 2021 Telluride November last year. This one recently had crack on the passenger side door window. All Star Kia asked me to come without knowing they do not have right windows. They just added more cracks during the openning the side of the door. Then, they say that they cannot receive a right eindow because of problems manufacturer and UPS. Near two months have passed and I vidited three times during the time, because they never updated me. Instrad , they are just boasting they will fix it, if all problems arre solved. My fundamental question is who can receive the right parts, if a dealer service cannot? I suspect it is only because of their lack of respondibility.
