Still waiting for my Jeep to be repaired....

On 28 December, 2015, I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler from the Ferman dealership on State Road 54, in Lutz. 100 yards from the lot, the service engine and passenger airbag warning lights came on. I brought it back to them for service, and got it back, two days later. Managed to drive my Jeep for a day and a half, before the lights came on again. Back it went to the service department. This time, it was in for most of an afternoon, and afterward, the warning lights stayed off for several hours. I called to schedule a third appointment, meant to take place on Martin Luther King day. I was really worried about thé vehicle ' s safety, but was told that as long as thé lights weren't flashing, it wasn't urgent. That Friday night, as I was driving home from work on I75, the Jeep's transmission failed in traffic. Couldn't shift gears except to third. I managed to pull off of the highway, and called AAA. The Jeep was towed back to Ferman service department, where it has been, ever since. I have a warranty package which I was assured would protect me in case anything went wrong with the vehicle, but there were some issues at first with whether or not I had to pay over 1,200 dollars to repair a Jeep I'd scarcely been able to drive. As a good will gesture, Ferman elected to repair the Jeep for thé warranty's 100 dollar deductible, for which I am very glad. It is supposed to be fixed up, safe and ready to drive, this Monday (01 Feb 16). Fingers crossed. ....

Mathgirl, we apologize for the experience that you have had with us and the Jeep you bought. Please allow me to apologize on behalf of the dealership for this. We try to accomodate everyone when ever we can,. In looking into this file, we did have a problem in the beginning in which the dealership took care of the issues. We know that you purchased an extended service plan for your 2007 Jeep which has 115,732 miles when you bought it, however that waranty or really any warranty that we have doesn't ever cover a "clutch". The transmissipn is fine, and we are not sure what happened to the clutch. However The dealership again is putting in a new clutch as a good will gesture and we are absorbing that 1200.00 expense for you as the warranty you have is very good but again, there is no warranty that we have that covers a clutch which is a wear in tear item. I hope you are comfortible enough with us in knowing that we are doing the right thing for you and we hope that this will allow you to have great faith in us in the future. Thank you for the review and for your business.

Engine light and transmission failure.

The Jeep sold to me was faulty and unsafe. An engine light and airbag warning came on less than a hundred yards from the dealership, the day I bought my Jeep. Despite full a warranty, they have tried to get out of needed transmission repairs. Won't return calls or emails, and have generally made this the worst car buying experience of my life. I have been contacted about repairs, and hopefully will be picking up my Jeep (for good) this Friday.

Best car buying experience EVER!

When looking to buy a new jeep, we went into Ferman and ended up having the best car buying experience we could imagine! Travis Cole was our salesman, not only was he very knowledgeable on all his products but he was not pushy or "sales man like". The manager and finance team were extremely kind and helpful during the process as well! We would recommend Ferman in Lutz to EVERYONE and highly recommend using Travis Cole to purchase your next Chrysler/jeep/dodge!! Top notch dealership and staff.

Great Experience (Brandon Stanton)

Brandon Stanton is a great salesman. Very upfront. Very helpful. Worked with us to ensure we agreed on a deal that worked for both. He ensured at the end to go over vehicle features (pairing the phone, adjusting jeep etc...)

New car experience

Purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited from Ferman in Lutz. Our sales person was Amanda Alvarez and she was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I would highly recommend Amanda and the Ferman dealership

Great experience

Shout out to Gheorghe Donici for getting me into my new Jeep Renegade! He was able to work with my budget to help me get the car i wanted. Gheorghe was very knowledgeable and friendly, which made the entire car buying process very easy. I would recommend anyone to buy a car at Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Tampa.

Daughters first time car buying experience they made it easy

Sales person Matt Cerro was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain every step to my daughter who was quite anxious about this. I would highly suggest this dealer
