Excellent Service

Purchased our second car here after looking around at many dealers in the Central MA area, and we were extremely well taken care of at LuxAuto. There was virtually no sales pressure, and they were extremely efficient, thorough, and considerate of our time. We would highly recommend LuxAuto for anyone looking for a quality pre-certified used vehicle.

Extremely satisfied with our service at LuxAuto in Auburn, especially with the sales person Gene Rice. We inadvertently skipped the star rating area of our first review. Please disregard it a we are very happy with all aspects of this dealership and our experience there. An outstanding team!

Lux Auto in Auburn: Time Utterly Wasted

Lux Auto in Auburn, MA Run, do not walk away from this place. If you want to save time, hassle, and bullshit, please read this rant. (It'd be a disservice for me to keep quiet about the visit I recently had there) I recently went there this past Saturday to purchase a vehicle. A vehicle that was "in the process of being sold, yet, no deposit?" (Sounds honest, right?) Between driving an hour each way to this place, twice (4 travel hours +more with traffic). I also spent a couple of hours "crunching numbers" to be told I had a set monthly payment, and that I could pick up my vehicle Monday (today)..... NOPE. Hours before my set transaction time, I was told by the salesman working the sale, that the loan we discussed was all set, and that I could come on down and sign some paperwork. Great, right? After getting to the place and waiting a good twenty minutes to a half hour, I was sat before another gent, that proceeded to tell me that my loan was going to be 50 dollars more a month than previously discussed... and that the "extended warranty" (which is a bad investment to begin with) and "gap insurance" needed to be included for him to make a profit. Bullshit. You DO NOT tell someone that the loan discussed is all set, to have them drive an hour out of their way, to arrive and be told that the loan is much more than previously discussed. You have not only lost a customer, but you have just gained a negative daily/weekly comment/review to every and any site I come across. Not to mention, every and any person I speak with. I make a God fearing honest living. You wasted the wrong man's time.

Beyond Satisfied

Went to Lux Auto Plus in Auburn after an issue with my old car hoping to find something reasonable. I found more than that. The service here is unbelievable & the salesmen are the friendliest people you will ever meet. William Ford found me exactly what I was looking for in under 5 minutes with an amazing price no one else can beat. He answered every question I had & helped me with what I needed. I'm amazed by the way he made car buying so easy. Highly recommend Lux Auto Plus in Auburn. I will never buy a car anywhere else.

Buyer Beware

I purchased a vehicle for my daughter at Lux Auto Plus in Auburn. Over $19,000 I had paid for an inspection sticker that was not on the vehicle. On the way home the check engine light came on, the egr valve was bad and so was the alternator. The front main oil seal was also leaking. I had to bring the vehicle back, and spend a day off from work while they repaired the issues they missed during their phony "128 point inspection". Then they had the unbelievable gall to give me a bill for a 100.00 deductible, for repairing the defects that the vehicle had before I bought it. I had to leave without an inspection sticker and go to a station and get one myself. The vehicle was rejected due to the recent work, and I had to drive a week and then go back to retest for a sticker. I went to show my daughter how to change a tire and guess what? No vehicle jack! I guess they missed that in their 128 point vehicle check as well! So now I am out another $100.00 for a new jack,handle and lug wrench. I am wondering now what else will go wrong, as I have absolutely no level of trust with these people. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, ASSUME THE WORST AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE CORRECT.

Great experience

I recently had a great car buying experience at Lux Auto. So glad to have found this dealership! They helped me to get out of a lemon that I purchased a month prior and into a better quality car with a low finance rate. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely go back there to get my next car :)

Never going back to a "Big Dealer" again!!

Until now, I had never purchased a vehicle from an independent dealer. A friend recommended I try Lux Auto in Auburn. It was the smoothest, least stressful time buying a car I have ever experienced. They take the time to get to know the customers and what they really want - you're not treated as just a number off the wait line. The car I wanted was waiting for me to test drive without any pressure to change to a more expensive one. Negotiating the price (my least favorite part of the process) was surprisingly easy - they didn't turn up the pressure to buy anything I wasn't 100% happy with or into. There was a tiny scratch on the front panel, but I was assured it would be taken care of before I took delivery and it was - no charge at all. They made one of the most stressful and painful processes known to man very simple and stress free. I won't ever go back to a "Big Name" dealer ever again!
