Motor Max of Grand Rapids

I highly recommend not buying a car from this dealership! We bought our vehicle the end of December started rattling a week later the sub frame was completely rusted and the tranny wasnt even sitting where it was supposed to be so (cause they somehow over looked that) they made good and fixed it well they forgot to align my car apparently. I bought new tires a week later and a month later their junk cant even drive on them because my car was out if alignment and all they would like to do is an alignment. Thanks for not doing your job correctly because im now out of 500$ in tires! Been nothing but problems every since buying the car. They wont return phone calls have to constantly keep calling. That dealership is a joke!!!!!!

Ok, so I'm in no way exaggerating. I paid cash for my car. I got a three month warranty with a "we owe" agreement for tire sensor repair and seat repair and detail. I brought the car back for these reasons and because the battery that was no good that they supposedly replaced was not starting on the third or fourth attempt sometimes. We took my luxury package vehicle in and for a loaner car got a bare bones Taurus missing a window crank. Yes, I said window CRANK. They kept my car for a week with me calling the last three days, they finally said I could come get it but they hadn't fixed the we owe things. Instead they had to do two other repairs that actually cost more so I could pay for those and have them do the we owe items that only cost "like thirty dollars to repair elsewhere". So I went and picked up my car. The mechanic reeked of alcohol. When we asked him if he knew what was wrong with the dvd changer he mumbled something unintelligible. So we came home with a vehicle that had more wrong with it than when we dropped it off. I called repeatedly trying to talk to someone but they kept blowing me off until I said I was calling my attorney. Then the manager came in and said there was nothing I could do and to go ahead and call my lawyer. I asked him if he just didn't care about customers at all, if it was all about money and ppl will need a car today everyday and won't have time to read all the horrible reviews on you before buying. I asked him did he even care about the bad reviews.. he told me no. So I ask you to please avoid them at all cost and share this with your friends so they don't get screwed too.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When our check engine light came on 2 hours after buying, we were hoping that they would work with us on solutions to get this fixed. They took the car from us, and then just reset the sensor. After promising that they would give us a receipt for the work done, as well as a few other things they basically said that we owned the car and they did not need to do anything to us. Their receptionist hung up on me because I called too many times to try to get a hold of Kenny or Mike who we were working with. As well, our title and license did not come in after 2 weeks, which only tells me they didn't file it right away. They were EXTREMELY difficult to work with, and I WOULD NEVER recommend buying a car from them, no matter how good of a deal it is

I would never ever buy a car from here. I talked to the mechanic that they work with, and even he wouldn't recommend buying cars from them. They do whatever they can to keep costs low, including resetting vehicles so that problems wont occur until the person has bought the car. In my experience with them, I brought in an ad from craigslist with that price, and then they told me that car "had been sold earlier that day". What they meant is they didn't want to stick to that price. It was the same car, it just was much more and they wouldn't take that price. We drove all the way out there to look at that car and were sadly disappointed. BUYERS BEWARE they are trying to pull fast ones on you. Do not buy from here.

Can't thank the Motormax enough for the great deal I got on my minivan and how simple and haggle free the experience was. I'll definitely be going back again when my daughter turns 16 and when my husband wants to trade his truck in. Thanks again guys! Marsha

I just bought a Lincoln from Kenny at Motor Max an I highly recommend this place if you are in the market for a good used vehicle. Ken was a excellent sales person. Very knowledgable on just about every vehicle. We could of test drove every car in the lot if we wanted too. Ken was a very patient and helped out on the purchase process making it a very stress free transaction . I would recommend Ken to my friends and family.

My recent car shopping experience at Motor Max was really positive.They have a ton of great cars and the Motor Max guys really listen to what you want. I have been to other dealers. No one worked harder to deliver exactly what I wanted than Motor Max. I would for sure recommend this place to a friend.
