Where is my chip?

My car completely quit last October. I have a 2012 Ford Focus. The only thing wrong was the chip for transmission. I waited 6 months. I realized it was out of their control but,I did not receive any contact unless I called. I had no vehicle for 6 months It sat in their lot. Never once did they try to help with the situation. When I finally picked it up, they didn't even apologize. I tried calling Ford..they were even worse..no help or what can we do?We have always respected Ford..no more.

Andy Shaw Ford helped me get my dream car!

Brad Ledford sold me my brand new Ford Escape with all the bells and whistles. I can honestly say the experience of trading, buying, negotiating with Andy Shaw Ford and Mr. Ledford was pleasant, productive, gracious, and fun. I give them 5 plus stars in all categories. Beyond Mr. Ledford's help and guidance, Scott Rhoades the sales director, Holly the financial director, and Erica Bullock, the dealership CEO all were supportive, helpful, patient, and gracious. I look forward to all future dealings with Andy Shaw Ford in Sylva, NC.

Andy Shaw is a great dealership..

Great local dealership. No pressure sales, realistic trade values. Financing department offered great rates. Dustin is aa great salesman who goes the extra mile for the customer.

Great experience purchasing and trading

I have purchased two vehicles from Andy Shaw Ford and have had wonderful experiences both times. Don Bradley helped me order my vehicle and trade the vehicle. The process was seamless. Highly recommend this dealership.

Second Time Buyer

buyer beware

I really hate to give bad reviews but I really was unhappy with my truck. I purchased a 2019 Ford Raptor with 17k miles for $70,000. I was told the truck is beautiful no damage fully loaded and ready to go. When I asked for a carfax I was informed they are a small dealer and don't pull them if I wanted one I would need to pay and run it myself which I did. Carfax was clean with no damage history and Don was very friendly and told me this truck was beautiful with zero dissapointments. I told them I was a nursing student and my wife was a night shift cardiac nurse so our schedule was really hard which they said no problem we can deliver the vehicle and pick up the trade in. The deal was easy and the staff friendly and I was super excited for the truck. However as the days went by I noticed mote and more damage. I found undisclosed hail damage on the roof which I wasn't really upset as I can have pointless dent removal done for a few hundred , then I noticed the rear fender flare had scratches and sand marks , again not to upset as it's not a super expensive part to replace. Being a used truck yeah a few hundred in cosmetic damage I can live with. Well I took it to have it ceramic coated and the shop pointed out the body damage to the rear bed which has poor repairs and sand marks under the clear coat that I honestly hadn't noticed till they pointed it out. Well that can not be buffed or cleaned the only option to make the truck right is to have a body shop repair it properly ....... on a $70,000 purchase this is not what you want to see or have to deal with. I reached out by email and text and phone and got no response. Be careful and look over your vehicle thoroughly, cause I don't know if it was hid on purpose or what but they will tell you one thing and sell you another. And at the end of the day it's my fault for being to excited for a truck I always wanted and not looking it over better and just trusting and taking their word for it. If you open the picture you can zoom in and see the terrible sand marks and bad repair that I will have to have redone properly at a cost im sure will be a few thousand dollars , and that's not something that left the factory that way. Update : the total cost of repair to make the truck correct from a reputable shop in town will be $2,800 , the marks are from poor prep work and it has to be stripped down to bare metal and redone.

My experience at Andy Shaw Ford was fun and helpfu

I enjoyed my buying experience at Andy Shaw Ford. Don Bradley made my buying experience a great one. He was very helpful with answering any questions I had about my new 2021 Ford F150 King Ranch. I will be recommending him to all my family and friends for their future Ford vehicle needs.

Above and beyond what I expected

Professional and polite salesperson and dealership, quick and painless process, no pressure in buying, no last minute fees. Love the whole process, will continue business with Andy Shaw Ford.

Paid cash and now treated like trash

How many folks do you know who go to buy a car and plan on paying it off that day with cash. Not too many. I did and can you believe that andy shaw ford didnt budge one bit on the price!! Everyone knows when you dont finance a car the price is often a little cheaper. Nope they knew I wanted to leave with that car and they knew I had my heart sat on it. So they took full advantage of that! Then a month later I had to get a key remade ( bc I only was given 1 to begin with) so I was charged 450 for the second key( which should come with the car). Now I did pay an extra ~$2100 for a warranty and I am glad of it bc come to find out the clutch/ transmission has went out on my 2019 ford mustang. Anyone who had financed a car would be treated as well as possible but I believe bc I paid it off they are not concerned about my needs. It took 2 weeks to get my key and I asked for a rental vehicle then and they said no bc we lost the one key that they gave us!! Ok I dont like that but I'll deal with it. So now they are working on the transmission and do you think they cared about me needing to get around.. of course not.. I wont buy another vehicle from this dealership and ford should be checking on customer service satisfaction here at Andy Shaw Ford

The Works Oil Change

UPDATE: The morning after I posted this review I was contacted by the internet manager at Andy Shaw Ford who apologized repeatedly for their employees "dropping the ball" and asked what Andy Shaw Ford could do to make it right. I only asked that they refund the $100 diagnostic fee to my husband. This morning we dropped the truck off because Andy Shaw Ford offered to give the $100 back AND replace the fan belt free of charge. When we picked up the truck in the afternoon we did not get $100 back, but we were given a bill for $0 (ZERO DOLLARS). Not only did they replace the fan belt, they also replaced a hub bearing FREE OF CHARGE which David Rogers told my husband was so bad it was dangerous. I'm here to sincerely say thank you to all the employees involved in making things MORE than right, and for going ABOVE AND BEYOND.
