DONT SHOP HERE!

It is very obvious that the main goal of this dealership is to get you to buy a car and after that they no longer care. My first complaint was when I took my car in for a complementary car was (the car was purchased new) and they washed the car but the car was not vacuumed on the inside. Ok fine, I felt as though that should have been included- but I did not make a big deal of it. It is now three months later and we were just informed by our bank that the dealership sent the WRONG vin number to the bank, now I have to refinance my car because of a mistake that should not have happened with such a large purchase. If I could go back in time I definitely would not have purchased my first car through them. This may be just another purchase to them, but this is something I will have to big purchase for me that I will pay on for some time. I am very dissapointed with the whole experience.

My first new car purchase

I would like to thank Chris Brown and the entire team at Stokes Brown Toyota of Hilton Head. They really made my new car purchase a great experience. Chris Brown worked hard from start to finish. If you are looking for a great deal this is the place to go. Ask for Chris Brown.

A++++ Experience @ Stokes Brown Toyota

This Toyota dealership is 5 minutes from home & that's a great thing! My salesman Brian Kurent was outstanding! He's very knowledgeable, personable & an excellent listener. No pressure at all. I purchased from him & recommend him highly. He explained every detail of my new Corolla especially the incredible safety features that are standard, to my surprise. His follow-ups have answered a few additional questions. Glenn Mariott did an excellent job as my closing manager. Super efficient & quick closing too. I'll definitely enjoy the 2 year roadside assistance & maintenance care included @ no extra charge! Thanks Brian & Glenn. Loving my new Corolla SE!

RUDE SERVICE! GO TO ANOTHER TOYOTA!

My husband & I went to see the difference inside the 4Runners & Highlanders and what they have to offer. We told the sales guy since the beginning that we where there to just check them out. Don't think he liked the fact that we weren't there to buy because of his attitude and he barely wanted to show us the cars. To make things worse, as we where leaving, Joe Jetski told my husband that we "could of just gone to Publix to see cars". We are very aware that you can see cars at any parking lot and even online but we where there to see the interiors & which model would be a nice fit for our family. Don't know who he think he is, but he definitely should not be a "manager". We were disgusted by his attitude and choice of words. It should not be expected for every customer to buy a car the first day they walk in the dealership. They should treat customers right so they can come back once they have absorbed everything in. They sadly lost our business and the business of all the others that we will be spreading the word with. We are looking into purchasing 2 new SUVs elsewhere where I will be glad to give my money to. We strongly hope that the correct action is given to Jetski after his poor & sad behavior. Very very disappointed.

Great Personal Service

Chris Pepin was on top of his game from the minute we pulled into the dealership. His knowledge of the car and his professionalism were evident throughout the sales cycle. Once we completed the deal, he educated us on the many functions that the car has and their use. Glenn Mariott was equally proficient during the "paperwork" session that finalized the deal. We recommend both of these individuals very highly.

Great experience !

Chris Browne welcome us at the door. We were looking for a Prius but not sure which one we would fit our needs. (I'm picky) Chris was so helpful addressing our questions and concerns. Chris has a good understanding of all Toyota vehicles. This is our third vehicle from Stokes Brown Toyota and we will be back. Thanks Chris.

We felt people were friendly and very informative.

When we left stokes we felt we had received a fair deal and just live our new Toyota Camry. We fell confident that when needed again they will be very helpful. The set up of their shop was very impressive also.

A Truly Not-Exceptional Experience

Recently bought a used vehicle from Stokes-Brown Toyota Hilton Head. Part of the transaction was bringing in my current vehicle for disposition after paying off the lease. Assured by my sales person that the registration would be handled by them and after paying the $39 to have the dealer transfer the tags to my purchased vehicle I left the dealership on 2/18/2017 with my temporary plates expiring on 4/6/2017. Forty one days later I was becoming concerned as I had no registration so I called the dealership inquiring as to what was taking so long to get my new registration. After being transferred around I was finally connected with the Tag and Title Department of the Stokes-Brown in Beaufort. Nicole assisted me and she was actually very good in sorting this out. Apparently Tag and Title had never received the paperwork from the Stokes-Brown in Bluffton and there was a bit of a dilemma now in transferring the tags as they had expired on 3/31/17. So new plates would have to be given to me instead of the transfer. On 4/4/2017 I traveled to the DMV here in Bluffton and was greeted with the ugly news that my driver's license had been suspended and that I had an outstanding balance of over $400 on my turned in leased car (there was no record of the turning in of this car). Needless to say this was very upsetting. I called the Stokes-Brown in Bluffton and asked them to please provide me with documentation that I had in fact turned in the leased vehicle back in February. I then picked up this documentation, went back to the DMV and was able to get my license cleared and the tax issue resolved. I then traveled up to the Beaufort office and secured my new tags so this nightmare would finally be over. So, I can't help but wonder why did I pay $39 when I did all the running around to fix what incompetence had created in the first place. My experience was truly not exceptional. Ron Gemme
