Great customer service after frustrating situation

This was my third visit to complete recalls on my vehicle. The first two visits they did not have the parts that were needed. Even though this was a very frustrating situation, they made it right on the third visit completing all of the recalls and needed service.

Buyer Beware

I have dealt with Gerald auto group for over 28 years and spent over $ 225,000 in buying new cars, used cars, and services to the vehicles. I believe Gerald Nissan which was my first and great experience made me continue to return. However as the Gerald group grew with all their new facilities and acquisitions I noticed a decline in customer service. Here of late, the service provided on a new Subaru Legacy is atrocious for apparent oil consumption which the service department says contact Subaru of America and they in turn say work with your dealer and no resolution. Also used vehicles have been purchased where at time of purchase one is told that vehicle has went through a complete review to only have windows not work, locks not work, hazard light burnt out and never checked at time of purchase, battery cables loose that car stops dead when driving, etc etc. so with all this being said my advice to any one planning on a purchase from Gerald auto group….” Caviar emptor”. That is buyer beware!

Friendly and seemed knowledgeable...my main issue is the oil burning...loosing A QUART PER MONTH!!!! NEVER WILL CONSIDER A KIA AGAIN!! Tried the expensive fix for this and it's to soon to tell if it worked.

Taken care of quickly. Manager, John Kainz provided shuttle service. Everything was done in a timely manor with friendly customer service.

We got a remote start installed, they gave us a rental. They set expectations when our car would be ready. It was ready when they said , and it was good exclusive

Spent about two partial days at the dealership finding

Spent about two partial days at the dealership finding out about ordering a carnival. Delt with two sales guys, no need to name them as they're just doing their jobs. My complaint isn't with them but rather the current "market adjustment". This dealership is marking vehicles up 4 thousand dollars over MSRP. Not only that but when they show you a price break down the quote they show you is dishonest with how it's typed up. Shows a total after it subtracts an assumed down payment. Upon doing some research their market adjustment is only for this market. Some dealers are offering prices below MSRP and some at MSRP but this dealer and napleton are above despite claiming they don't mark up "much" as the first salesman told me. Just expect any car you purchase to be 3-10 thousand over MSRP after taxes and markup and other fees. Edit: Contacted Chuck as requested. He clarified some things that the other sales guys had touched on. He certainly wasn't lying or being manipulative and because of the honesty I've adjusted my rating because that really is important in a dealer. The other points still remain which is a result of the current market rather than the dealer being dishonest
