MINI of Montgomery County

This place used to be good but it has gone downhill the past 2 years. I've leased 2 Minis with them. I should have learned my lesson the first time. First, they will try to get money from you at all costs for tires. They make it sound like Mini tires are the worst and need to be changed every year. Every time I got a flat I got the same tired somewhere else by half the price. The system they use when you get a speeding camera ticket is a nightmare!! During my first lease, I would get random pictures of other BMW's on my address. I had to call the MVA because Mini/BMW had no clue how to fix it. This last time Mini did not send me any of my tickets, they paid for them and charged me 600$ at the end of the lease. If you are leasing a car that has mileages in them make sure that it does not go past the 30,000 miles because you will have to pay for oil changes and services. WHile getting the car they will say you do not need to worry about that for the 3 years but what they mean is the car has a 30,000 miles warranty, has nothing to do with your lease. My second lease started with 7k miles and on my last year I took it with 31k mile. They wanted to charge me 400$ for service. Maybe management changed? this place used to be good.

Absolutely do not bring your Mini here for service. My daughter brought her car in for a complimentary check up and was quoted thousands of dollars of "urgent repairs" With one call I found a certified mechanic in Rockville who performed the work for 40% less! Stay away!

My visit to have my car serviced was necessitated by hitting a pothole and ruining both front tires. That I was able to get a tow to the shop on Easter and a repair begun the next morning was impressive. Danny the service manager is a top professional. I am thrilled with the entire shop!

I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S that I bought as a certified used car from Mini of Montgomery County. I've had the car for two years now and receive consistently excellent service from the folks at the dealership.

I have purchased more than 200 cars in my life, a few for me, the rest for businesses I've owned and I have NEVER written a review, especial about a service department, but i have got to tell you, Mini of Montogomery County is THE best-run delearship I have ever dealt with and I've certainly done business with a few...and from coast to coast. The most professional, courteous and knowledgable people ever. Especially during COVID, they have been just simply incredible. Honest...straight shooters...AND quality work. I don't care how far you have to travel, if I were you, I would take my Mini for service issues to this dealership regardless of the distance you have to travel to get to it. I have been simply blown away by everyone I have dealt with and I BOUGHT THE CAR IN KANSAS CITY, so they didn't even get the sale of the car! Check these guys out. I don't know who hires them, who trains them, but whoever it is, my hat is off to you. You'll never guess where I'm buying my next vehicle!

From start to finish, our March 2021 experience with Mini of Montgomery County (MD) Motoring Advisor Brian Keener was outstanding. Brian was at all times smooth, unflappable and wonderfully knowledgeable about all aspects of the Mini. There was not ever a hint of pressure in anything he said during our visit. His manner was more like a gentle and civilized, "what took you so long?" Mini of Montgomery County is fortunate to be able to count Brian among its sales force. The fact that we did not purchase a vehicle had nothing to do with Brian's wonderful manner or his competence, which were truly considerable. Rather, it had everything to do with our realization that we needed a tad more space at this juncture. In fact, so charmed and impressed were we with both Brian Keener and the Mini that we told him that we would likely return to him and the dealership once our grandchildren-related space needs abate. In the meantime, we will remain grateful that we can call Brian Keener a new friend.

Absolutely the rudest most inconsiderate business I’ve experienced. The salesman Josh did not know the product and the sales manager Nick did not have the courtesy of providing a reply phone call or email. Not a smart or good way of doing business. Buy from anyone other than a passport dealership
