To Infiniti and Beyond

We recently purchased a used Infiniti from City Auto. The car was located at the Memphis lot but we viewed the car online. We were a little nervous to purchase a vehicle without seeing it in person. The Memphis lot did a walk-around and took additional photos for us. The car was driven to Murfreesboro where we viewed it in person before purchase. The car has low miles and is in great condition. Happy with the smooth transaction and with the quality of our car. Many thanks to our sales person and team for a positive buying experience.

Wow what a nightmare

Stay Away! I wish there was a minus star. Traded with them on June 24th, their salesman has been calling me for well over a year, I said when I get ready I will be coming by. When I did I THOUGHT I found a solid car, so I traded my car in and I will tell you when you buy as is, make sure you know it is buy as is. I left the dealership to go pick up my wife 5 miles away to take her for a ride we were excited we wanted to have a vehicle to pull our camper when I retired Aug 19th and camp. (that didn't happen) When I took her for a test ride she had our dog in her lap and we drove through a car wash, water shot out of the passenger door handle and soaked my wife and dog, I was shocked, I took my soaked wife back to our home and when she got out she heard a tic very loud, I went back and discussed with sales manager (this was 2 hours after I purchased) he turned me over to William in the service department and they found a clogged hose in the sunroof and repaired the leak, they scheduled the car in a week later to look at the tic,. I dropped off a week later and they kept the car for well over 2 weeks, they on good faith put another motor in and did some other minor repairs. I picked car up and was very excited, when I got it home oil leaking out bottom, I called William and when he returned my calls the next day he said bring it in, I did, a week later he said they have fixed it, I was excited once again, well its sitting in front of my house leaking oil, I had to sign that they were done with the good faith repair. (I will give them credit for trying to repair, but read the bottom of my comments) So my bad for signing a AS IS, they did offer a extended warranty, and they did try to repair the issues, but here is why I am upset. They could not tell me the miles on the used motor they installed, it still leaks oil ( looks like a rear main seal) AC pump is bad (bearing making noise) gas gauge is bad AND TO TOP IT OFF ITS AUG 26th AND STILL DONT HAVE MY TITLE SO I CAN SELL IT, OR TRADE IT, OR LEGALLLY DRIVE IT! I WENT TO DMV YESTERDAY, AND THEY COULD NOT FIND PAPERWORK! MY BAD FOR BUYING AS IS, I HEARD THIS IS A GREAT CAR FROM WILLIAM EVERYTIME I CALLLED HIM. TOTAL MILES SINCE I PURCHASED 900 miles, they put 230 while they had it. Very disappointed since I know they sell allot of cars in Murfreesboro. Bottom line Beware on what you buy, know the sales person will not discuss problems, they are done with you!

Happy camper

Salesman was up front,I bought a monster 3500 Laramie to tow trailer, and turned around ,bought a car, they bought my truck back, it was a great experience. People there are just being themselves! They understand what you are looking for and never did any of the salesman try to sell a pitch. Thanks to them i left there with just what I expected.Happy.

HORRIBLE CARS AND EVEN WORSE SERVICE

City Auto has been horrible to me since the beginning. Shortly after I first bought my car, I had to take it in to get repairs, which lead to them admitting that the car I purchased shouldn’t have even been on the lot to sell. Even after that, I have gone to them for repairs once or twice and the same problems continued even after I went to them about my problems with the car, and they were very rude about it along the way. Since then, they have not been able to help me much and now I have a car from them that I still owe on that cannot even drive anymore, needless to say, I will not be coming back here and I advise that nobody else does either!

Ron is the one to ask for to buy your car/truck!

I bought my mini cooper there. I purchased it with the magnificent help of Ron Morris. He was honest and fair. Shopping from there with such a wonderful salesman was such a pleasure. If you want a new/used car or truck I highly recommend asking for Ron. Have a great day and fun shopping. :)

Awesome experience

Calvin very helpful and knowledgeable. The financing part was a little lengthy but overall great experience. Calvin worked as fast as he could to find me the right vehicle.

An Honest Used Car Dealer!

CA has a great assortment of cars and Greg Hall was very helpful in finding and evaluating the choices. We picked one out, and during the test drive he thought he heard an issue with the rear brakes. He took the initiative to check them and found that they were just brand new. This place is very transparent and honest. The entire staff, including John and Nick are very helpful and friendly. I really trust these people.

I have bought 3 cars from here and have always been very...

I have bought 3 cars from here and have always been very happy with my purchase until now. I have learned to never purchase a vehicle without first seeing it in person. They would not transfer the car from there Memphis lot before I purchased it. The car had not been cleaned in a while and the gas tank was under half. The windshield is badly scratched and they either did not change the oil or forgot to reset it. I know I bought a used car but I have never had such a bad experience from this dealership until this time. I wish I could say I recommend this dealership but if this how they treat me after purchasing 3 cars from them I wouldn’t want someone else to go through the same issues. While my sales man was very nice customer service was missed when it came to certain things and they were to worried about making a sale.

Great place to buy

James Howe’s was my sells rep and I highly recommend finding him on the lot. Nick Alexander did the paperwork and got me a better rate than I would have thru my finance company. Check this car lot out and these two guys and you’ll be glad you did. Cookeville car lots have nothing on this one. Only issue I have is a manager agreed to fill the gas tank up and that didn’t happen.
