Cody made buying my car easy. They gave me numbers quickly and left me to make a decision. No pressure, no hassle, no haggling. None of that stuff that makes you hate buying a car happened, except for the car payments! (smile) Would buy again from them and would recommend. With any used car you have to do your own homework and know what to expect as far as longevity, issues with the make/model, etc. I would also recommend buying a the warranty they offer. I have purchased numerous automobiles over the years and I can honestly say that this was by far the easiest that I have ever experienced. Thomas was extremely informative and helpful and the Sales Manager took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. My advice to anyone reading this--stop by and see these folks. Ask for Thomas, but I am certain that they all exude the same professionalism and courtesies.

Cody and Andy were great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, offered great customer service with no pressure. We would definitely recommend Automaxx to friends and family and return if we needed another vehicle.

Just a warning to anyone looking to buy a used car from a dealer, steer clear of Marathon Automaxx in Summerville. They are not at all affiliated with Automax, though they will tell you outside they are, reporting to them weekly. They sell pure junk, no safety inspections, just detail them put on the lot and sell, leaving you on your own for the repairs, as we found out the very next day when ours broke down. Their manager John Dangerfield told us himself, when we went back to see if they would cover the repairs, "We sell 160 cars a month, don't have time for inspections" ............. classic line from a stereotypical lowlife used car salesman. So save yourself the aggravation and try somewhere else, maybe a bigger dealer, you may pay a little more, but at least they will stand behind their sale, and you will have a safe car. BTW repair bill came to $1675, for new cats, multiple o2 sensors and mass air, the dealer repair tech did verify that the check engine light had been reset multiple times before I bought it, so Marathon Automaxx knew the vehicle had issues and hid them. Like I said, just another lowlife used car xxxx ....... steer clear.

Experience was really refreshing! No haggle Negotiations, and a friendly sales staff! Price was on target with the local area. I would recommend one visit if you are in need of a quality late model automobile.
