Never been to a dealer before that I described exact car,

Never been to a dealer before that I described exact car, trade in a truck and they found the car, met my deal exactly as I had budgeted and expected, a great deal, and made sure that I drove the exact model and options, except color that they had to ship in, to do the deal and got the car into the dealership in 2 hours. amazing service

We took our son in to help him establish a relationship

We took our son in to help him establish a relationship with a respectable dealership. Cloninger Ford has been our goto for a few years now. And they, once again, did not disappoint. From the time we walked through the door, our sales rep (Michael Joseph) took a complete and total interest in my son's desire. He never tried to change his mind or pressure him into purchasing anything other than what he truly wanted. At the end of the day, he had helped my son to purchase his first new vehicle. Completely satisfied, my wife and I were reminded why that our next vehicle, like our last couple, will again be purchased at Cloninger Ford Hickory. It's just better there!

When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman that I was

When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman that I was supposed to see was not available but another stepped in and took his place to help me. I told him why I was there to look at the car and it was very helpful, the vehicle is pulled around for my inspection and the test drive went perfectly. The sale went very smoothly, and before long I was off my new vehicle. Although I did to my mechanic, looked it over very carefully there was no major problems except for one minor one which was the oil pan or gasket where skip plate interferes had to be replaced.

Overall solid experience.

Overall solid experience. Not a lot of negotiating and I respected that. I love my new vehicle. Overall very responsive to my needs. Greg responded quickly.

Great staff.

Great staff. I walked into the dealership at closing time and Monica was walking out to go home for the day. She asked me if I needed help And didn’t even hesitate to turn back around and put all of her stuff back reset up her computer to help me look what I was looking for. After a little bit of research, she found the truck of my dreams and helped me take it home that same night! Will definitely be coming back to get my wife something in the future!

This is the review I posted right after the sale, they were fantastic when they are taking your MONEY. Our experience with Eli was perfect. He helped us find the vehicle we were looking for. The whole process was smooth and we were in with finance signing documents in less than an hour. Was very pleased with this dealership. PLEASE READ THROUGH AS I WILL UPDATE AS ACTIONS ARE TAKEN Now for the facts after the sale: The transmission went out, thankfully we bought the extended warranty. The windshield is not the right windshield so some of the computer driven items do not work, did not know this at the time of sale but were told they definitely worked. . There are three DIFFERENT tires on the truck, we had asked Eli about this when purchasing and he said they are fine. REALLY????? The engine cover is missing, once again Eli told us that is normal and none of them have it. Now the extended warranty that we bought is covering the transmission thankfully BUT it will not cover the windshield that HAS to be replaced in order for the auto wipers and FRONT CAMERA to work. We were never told about this even after extensive communication about the vehicle and its WORKING features. Instead we were lied to so they could take our money. We have reached out to the dealership leaving messages and also emails to all the managers up the chain and not one has been returned. Like I said, took our money and ran. The decent thing to do would be to contact us and see what is going on but I guess we don't matter anymore since they got our MONEY. My recommendation is not to shop at this dealership. Obviously their customer service leaves little to be desired. There are plenty of other dealerships who actually value their customers before and AFTER the sale. This is not one of them. They do not back up what they tell you and then ghost you when you try to contact them. Take YOUR MONEY elsewhere. UPDATE: We were finally contacted by the dealership. Eli, our salesman, contacted us and apologized for everything. He then took it to his management and this is where we are today: They are going to replace the windshield in the vehicle to the proper one and they are going to supply a new engine cover. There is still some resistance on the tires, as the sales manager states that it passed inspection in their service area and they are fine for a rear wheel drive. We explained that ours is an AWD and this is still being looked into. So far, promises to fix things have been made. If they do what they say, I will update post again once they are completed and gladly up my rating.
