I stopped by the dealership this past Tuesday morning. I was greeted by a nice young lady at a stand right outside the front door. She helped me to visit with Leo Light and I explained to Leo that I was interested in one of the Ford Explorers on the lot so he took me right over to what I was looking for. I advised Leo that I am purchasing a vehicle within 24 hours and need their help to check my trade. Leo helped me to get the trade valued and numbers for the purchase while headed back to San Antonio. Leo had the vehicle delivered on Wednesday to my home as to not disrupt a busy work week that I had planned. Sonya was able to help me complete the financing and have been very pleased with the vehicle so far. The buying experience from your team was delightful and first class! My overwhelmingly positive experience with this dealership started immediately when I was connected to Jeff Cruz in new vehicle sales as I was shopping for a new F-150. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he provided me options that matched my needs exactly. Never once was there an attempt to upsell to the next trim level or try to convince me to explore vehicle options that did not fit my parameters for what I was searching for. Once we decided on a potential truck over the phone, he made sure it was held and ready for me to test drive the following morning. We had a very thorough test drive that allowed me to put the truck through its paces that helped exhibit its handing, braking, and acceleration. Jeff continued to exceed expectations by actually being knowledgeable at a technical level about the vehicle and not just reading a pamphlet with the standard highlights - a reason why I’ve walked from a couple of dealers during my search. Fast forward to everyone’s favorite part, haggling the final price. The finance manager (forgive me for forgetting his name), teamed with Jeff, gave full transparency to how the numbers are configured and after the standard back and forth reworking numbers, we reached an agreeable price, paired with an acceptable trade in value to my 2014 F-150 that rolled over on 200,000 miles that morning. I’m happy they even entertained giving me an offer for it. After the deal was locked in, Jeff, knowing I was tight on time, expedited getting the truck into prep and had it ready before I was even finished signing the paperwork. He even helped me transfer my belongings from my old truck into this one. That’s more than just trying to get the deal done. That’s just being an overall good person. Shopping there? Ask for him. My family has owned Fords for generations, and I’m very proud to continue that tradition through getting the deal made at Leif Johnson. Thank you to the entire team.
