Shady Staff

SLY DEALERSHIP that doesn’t care about customer service. I live about 3 hours away from Automaxx Orem and had been working with them to get a deal going for a truck for about 3 days. There was lack of communication on their part and I was left in the dark. So I made the 3 hour drive and about half way WE had to call Richie, the “manager”, to see if we were approved and it was only then that he said we had been approved and to come on in to sign the paperwork. I WAS LITERALLY A MILE AWAY AND RICHIE CALLED ME UP AND SAID “HEY SORRY I SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE” once I got there to see if it was really sold because I couldn’t believe it, he apologized with a smile on his face. When I told him how shady he was he just said “I couldn’t turn down someone with cash” but then went on to say how important customer service is to him and how important word of mouth and reviews are to him. Well...here’s your review and I won’t be shopping at any automaxx

This sounds like a frustrating situation for you. Because our vehicles are usually in better condition than others on the market and priced competitively, they often sell quickly. I'm sorry for the mis-communication and the time you lost driving down. To be FAIR to all of our customers, every vehicle is available to be purchased at all times unless there's Hold Deposit on it. We indeed do our best to provide outstanding customer service and apologize if you we let you down. Chrysler Sebring

So- they sold me a car that was crap. They sold me a warranty that also didn’t work. After a week, the heater core exploded- they fixed it- but at this point they wouldn’t take the car back. I owe another $4000 on the car and my engine went out today. I am livid. They are untrustworthy- now I will say that yes- they offer a 3 month warranty- on the power train- so that is good- because that’s how long the car will last if you’re lucky before you have to pay TO FIX YOUR BRAND NEW CAR. Never again. I called and talked to the owner and he told me- there was no lemon law that would protect me and too bad. I’ve dropped so much money in the crap they sold me and I will never go back. Thanks for nothing.

I would like to understand what we could have done better or different here? I'm genuinely surprised at such an attack. You bought a 2008 Sebring with only 59k miles clear back on March 21, 2017 (nearly 1-1/2 years ago). We provided a FREE 3 month power train warranty that we honored. We even paid for a repair that wouldn't be covered by the warranty at no cost to you. We professionally inspected the car before you bought it and gave you an opportunity to do the same. Now almost 1-1/2 years later you call us "untrustworthy"? FYI, your total original loan was only $3,250. I am indeed sorry the car needs repaired. I wish they didn't ever break, but unfortunately it happens. I empathize with your frustration, but be assured, we did everything in our power to provide you with a reliable car. Mini van

Learned a big lesson here. Never buy from a company you don’t know and never over the 50 mile radius.Can’t list the bad experiences . Couldn’t get proper paperwork to register my car until after temp plates expired. Still hasn’t actually happened, rendering my van illegal

Holly, I'm sorry to hear you feel this way and apologize for any hassle with the Re-assignment of title that the Wyoming DMV requested. We include that document with the title and generally have very successful outcomes on the many out-of-state sales we facilitate. I personally took action on this within 2 hours both times you contacted us about it. Frustrating for everyone that Wyoming DMV can't receive USPS mail. Don’t buy!!!

Horrible, drove the truck maybe 500 miles and have over 1200 dollars in repairs already , and now the transmission is not shifting properly . Thought I was getting a decent deal from a trust worthy place and it was not the case. They claim to go over the whole car . If they really did this no way I would be having all this trouble now.

Tom, I'm not familiar with your situation, but would like to know more. We indeed have ASE Certified mechanics inspect each vehicle. We also include a free 3 month, 3,000 mile warranty that would provide some coverage towards a bad transmission. Admittedly, even with our most diligent efforts, problems that we could not detect can occur after our inspection/drive process. Great experience!

We had help from Ron in Pleasant Grove, and he helped us so much! He was incredible to work with and found the vehicle we wanted. He made sure to find all the answers to our questions, and we will definitely be going back for our next vehicle.

Very good Actors

We went in looking for a reliable used vehicle for our family, staff came out to greet and told us to look around, when we needed something we had to wait around/ search for an employee. They were speedy with the process and pushing you out the door but withheld/lied about information that was asked for, now i know to get a physical copy of the carfax instead of believing what they say they are reading right then on the computer.

Good experience buying

I worked with Mark and Victor down at the Springville location. They had a Dodge Charger 2010 and was very easy to work with. Victor made an accommodation to bring the car up to Orem which was closer to me and was able to let us test drive it for a good drive. I have to be honest we just bought the car so I don't know how well it's going to do but the overall experience buying the car was wonderful with these two. I would definitely recommend this pair of sales professionals. Just from the standpoint of buying the car I feel that they had a good price on the vehicle and Mark was able to work with me.

Expedition

I just bought a used car from Automaxx Orem and it was a great experience. The vehicle is awesome and the price was right; beyond that the customer service was amazing. Most of our communication was via text and Ricky was very responsive. When it came time to test drive and then pick up the vehicle they were very accommodating and there was no pressure. The vehicle was missing some headphones and they ordered new ones and shipped them to me after the deal was finalized. Great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anybody!

Good source for a used vehicle

Denny was excellent to work with. As a tip: be sure you know if there are features that are really important to you. They can match you up with a vehicle that meets your needs at a reasonable price.
