Service Department more like Disservice Department

I had a poor customer service experience with this dealer?s service department. It started with poor communication (was never able to get anyone from the Service Dept. to answer the phone, always had to leave multiple messages to get a single call back, and left a message for the Service Dept. manager that still has not been returned, etc.). I have little confidence anything was actually done, or done correctly. I finally gave up and called Tuesday afternoon and had to leave another message indicating I was just going to come pick up my truck and take it somewhere else. I did get a call back about an hour after that only to be told the tech had just looked at the vehicle and could not reproduce the issue that was my primary concern, but were able to repair one of two recall items I had called attention to. I had also requested an oil change. The service contact initially didn?t know if the oil change was done or not, but then said he thought it had been done. When I expressed my frustration, he once again acted as though I was keeping him from something more important. My issues are less about the fact that they couldn?t complete the repairs in the two days they had the vehicle, and more about the fact that they don?t answer their phones, they don?t return calls, and in general gave me the impression they could not care less about my customer satisfaction. If anything, they acted as though I was imposing on them by not having an appointment when I dropped my vehicle off the previous Sunday at their night drop location. I would normally have scheduled the service appointment in advance, but did not have the option in this instance. The primary problem I was trying to have addressed occurred the Saturday night before I dropped the vehicle off, and their service department was closed. I chose to drop it off at the night drop that Sunday night, because I was leaving town that following Wednesday and needed to know if would need to rent a car if they were going to need to keep my vehicle. I explained all of this in the messages I had to keep leaving, but it didn?t seem to matter to them. Bottom line, I won?t be going back and definitely would not recommend them. I?ll probably have to drive twice as far to find another Dodge dealer, but I?ll happily do that before I will encourage, tolerate, or pay for bad customer service at this dealer. And, I still don?t really know whether any of my service issues were really addressed, or not. I gave them a 1 out 5 stars, but only because this site won?t allow ?no stars? as a rating option. One last note, I checked some other reviews for this dealer after this experience. I was surprised to see that there were several positive reviews. This initially made me wonder if my situation was unique. Upon drilling down on those positive reviews, I found they were all about their purchase experience. It would seem the sales team does a great job, and their customers were very happy as a result. However, when I drilled down on the more negative reviews, all of them were in regards to poor experience with their Service Dept. Might be a good place to buy a car if you?re not planning on having it serviced there.

Not happy with this service.

I purchased a Dodge certified used car (not from this dealer) and within 2 hours of driving off the lot I had an electrical issue. When I got into town I called the dealer that I bought the car from. They said that its a certified car and to call any dealer around me and they will be able to take care of what it needs. I called Autonation dodge ram on Arapahoe and was told that they could not get my car in for over a week. So I waited and took it in when they could get me in. long story short they had my care for over 4 weeks and I had to take it back to them 3 times before they fixed the issue. At that point I had already make a car payment and autonation dodge ram on Arapahoe had my care way longer than I did. As well I just had a radiator issue and could not drive my car 2 months later. I called Autonation Dodge ram on Arapahoe to ask if I can have my car towed into the shop to have it worked on as I was stuck in a parking lot. They said sure you can bring it but just to let you know that we will not be able to take a look at it it for 2 WEEKS.... 2 weeks to look at a radiator issue. It is so unacceptable and it make it worse that they are the only dodge dealer in this area. Its not worth having care with a warranty when it take this long to look at a simply issue. I ended up not taking my are here and paying for it to be towed even farther away to another dodge dealer.

Poor Service. Very Dissapointing

Very disappointing! Booked a service appt three weeks in advance. Was assured the job would be done within one day. They did not start on my truck half way through the second day. I took my truck back and am glad they didn?t begin working on it. Spoke with staff members who stated that the shop is consistently overbooked which impacts morale and customer service. They constantly shuffle priorities based on which customer is the most upset at the time. Management needs to realize that customers would rather schedule farther out and have good service then schedule sooner and receive poor service.

Great Experience with Alex Pruitt

We had talked about a new SUV for awhile. Came in to visit and just happened on the exact one with the right mileage and all. Alex worked with us diligently to help us find the right payment that fit our budget. He was great to work with and we love our mew car! Would recommend Alex highly.

Just excellent!

My wife and I visited Spradley-Barr dealership in Cheyenne, WY. We saw a twenty year old Dodge Caravan we liked because of it's low miles. Salesman, Spencer Gordon just got to work and let us drive the vehicle. Everything seemed to work just fine so we decided to try to buy the vehicle. The very next day the air-conditioning didn't work and Mr. Gordon told us to bring it in. So we did and now there isn't any item that doesn’t work on the vehicle. We are extremely happy with the Dodge mini van and the service that salesman Spencer Gordon gave us.

Great Experience

After a lot of looking, I recently purchased a used 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the help of Alex Pruitt. I saw the car online and talked with Alex when I called in to confirm it was still on the lot. He offered to email pics and reserved a time that night to test drive. Following the test drive Alex was great with the purchasing process and even talked to my insurance company when I was clueless as to what level of insurance and changes was required to take the car off the lot. I brought the car in for some paint repairs two weeks after purchase and unfortunately during that time was side swiped during a hit and run that caused some minor cosmetic damage. When I picked it up I could not be happier with the paint but also the fact that Alex and the team put in extra effort to address the scratch from the hit and run incident to make it much less noticeable. Overall I am very happy I bought my car at AutoNation Dodge Ram with Alex. He and the team were very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the process!

Great Salesman

Met with Rodney Pruitt with AutoNation Dodge Ram Arapahoe in the evening after making an appointment earlier in the day. He met us with the car my wife and I were interested in and took us for a test drive. I was impressed by his knowledge of the car and its accessories and proceeded to negotiate a deal for our car and the purchase of the 2015 Charger we test drove. The finance person handled the paperwork in a professional manner and made us feel welcome through out that process and did not try any high pressure to buy any options such as extended warranty, etc. All in all Rodney and the dealership as a whole made us feel welcome and considerate of our needs as a customer. Was introduced to Service personnel and toured the service facility as well. Thanks again for the ease of the purchase.
