No service

There was no service. We browsed the lot for about 45 minutes and when no sales associate approached us we went inside. We were greeted by the mgr and we started to inquire about some cars. His info was very sketchy and I asked him about his flexibility on price he told us he was a no haggle dealership. At that point he became very short and a little bit rude with his answers. He gave me the impression that he didn't care whether he sold us a car or not. It was the strangest car shopping experience we've had in recent memory.

Dealer response

Dear Tbone, We're sorry hear that. Let us explain how it goes here at our dealership. We want our customers to fully review the used vehicle they're purchasing without any kind of push, misleading or misinforming. The reason no-one went out and bothered you in the lot is our sales approach here at BNM Auto. You've probably seen the other customers walking into our office and taking cars for test drive while you guys were checking out the vehicles. Yes, we are a no-haggle dealership because all our prices are way below the retail book value, also we are a no-hassle dealership. So we'll continue not going around and hovering our customers. Over the years, we came to the understanding that used car shoppers like it this way. We provide all the information on the vehicle itself, unlike most car dealers. From Carfax to NADA guide, from the particular vehicle's info such as miles, model, year, price to warranty eligibility.. plus, we keep the doors unlocked for our customers to easily go inside and see the vehicles without any salespersons distraction. We are sorry if you took our straight answers in a rude way which we never meant. No haggle is really no haggle. We understand you are used to see pushy salespeople wondering around, trying to hunt buyers then all kind of pricing games. We are simply not that. We know it's strange but yes, we let our valuable customers make choices for themselves. We'd like to invite you back to our dealership and re-consider the vehicles you are interested. We hope, this explanation made you realize that we care our customers and of course we want everybody fair business. Thanks for this chance to be able to explain.

Great used car dealership

I just bought my second car from BNM a couple weeks ago. Drove almost 3 hours each way, being just south of Pittsburgh. First car I bought about 3 years ago with 210,000 miles on it, it is still driving strong. The second car is in great shape aside from a couple small nuances (it is mechanically sound), and drove just fine on the return trip. I took a list of about 7 cars I wanted to check out, quickly scrubbed half the list upon seeing them and/or test driving them, but the others were very nice. While test driving I pulled over and popped the hood and checked everything out in each one. Settled on a nice white Altima. They even steered me towards it, insinuating it would give me the least amount of trouble out of those I was looking at. I know much about cars, and I feel the were correct. They are honest about their vehicles. While paying for the car, Yigit, one of their very friendly salespersons, made an error and charged my card too much, he quickly issued a refund that for whatever reason did not go through. I had to jump through a few hoops with my card company but after a few days, it went through fine. I will no doubt be back to buy another car in the future. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, nice cars, nice ownership.

Of you are comfortable with the price..

Nice people. Cars are decent, no matter what all prices are final which Is a down side since the cars are obviously not perfect but lots of there vehicles have good reputations like hondas and acuras they have on the lot.

Bad service, bad vehicle

Looking for Prius so I got excited when I found a car lot with three in my price range. So scheduled appointment via internet. We drove 4 hours and we're late due to traffic and construction. The sales guy had left (before posted closing time) but did come back. However, he was very rude and said he would give us 10 min to test drive. We reluctantly took test drive since we had driven so far. The car jerked and hesitated on test drive. Then the check engine light came on. Needless to say we did not consider the other 2 prius or purchase from here. Still looking. My suggestion is to skip this place and look elsewhere. The facility was a dump too.

Dealer response

Mr Disappointed shopper, You are misinforming cars.com shoppers here. You didnt drove 4 hour to just to get to our dealership. You said we were on the way and you are going to a Fair towards this route. Unfortunately, you were 50 mins late to your appointment and you didn't bother to give us a call about it. We wanted to re-schedule it for the next day and you still insisted to test drive it after we were close. Yes, the check engine did came on due to a sensor(which was taken care of right away). But you do not tell 6 of you got in a small tiny Prius which was not made for that purpose. All our customers know how we are sincere and welcoming. Being late is not a problem but being late, having and attitude, not respecting the people who try to help you is another thing. We don't even go there how you acted after your test drive. We welcome you back if you are OK to be treated like any other valuable customer of ours, not any different. Because we already treat so special to our clientele. Yours Faithfully,

WOW! What an experience!

My wife and I saw a 2006 Prius on Cars.com. I immediately called to set up an appointment to test drive it. We drove over 3 hours to see the car. Less than an hour later, we were driving away in it. Very fast and friendly. We even got a student discount!

Best car-buying experience I've ever had!

From when we made the phone call for the appointment, to the time we drove off the lot, our experience with BNM Auto was fantastic! We drove 3.5 hours for our appointment and told them who we were. We signed a paper to test drive the vehicle and then left. It was that simple. It just gets better from there. Our salesman was Yigit Yalcin, and he was wonderful. Great sense of humor, even with my husband trying to haggle. (Which, by the way, they don't do....but they do work with you to help you with the money aspect.) We signed the paperwork, handed over our money and was then on our way. We were there for slightly more than an hour, including test drive. It was the best car-buying experience that I have ever had. Cars are extremely clean, my husband was oogling a few of them and they are all in the best condition he has ever seen from a used car lot. If you go here, you will not regret it.

Fast and efficient service. Very pleasant experie

I purchased a 2006 Acura from BNM auto and overall it was a very pleasant buying experience. I have purchased other vehicles in the past and this experience was very easy and quick. They had us finances and out the door within 20 minutes after we completed our test drive and inspection. They seem to be fair and honest offering competitive pricing. The vehicle I purchased was worth more than $1,000 than what I paid for it at BNM. Very satisfied and I love my car. I would recommend them as well as go back to purchase another vehicle from the dealership.
