This place is a joke! Buyer beware!

Rude, unprofessional and dishonest. Was told the car was ready for sale on phone. Drove over an hour to get this small dealership. Upon arrival, the vehicle we were interested in was dirty, had a check engine light on and both rear tires were flat on the wheel. We couldn't even test drive! After expressing my displeasure the salesman became very rude and unprofessional. If your time is important to you and you want to purchase a road worthy vehicle I recommend you stay far away from this place! Buyer beware!

My Trade in and Purchase Experience

In May 2015 I was in the market to trade in my older truck and purchase another of similar vintage, around early 2000. I had some very specific requirements to meet which were a challenge for any previous salesmen I had contacted it. I traveled to Victory Motors in Longmont, CO and met Kurt. I noticed the selection of about 60 very nice vehicles and all had excellent prices on them. I quickly narrowed my options down to four suv's. I test drove them all and narrowed it down to one of two. The salesman I dealt with was Kurt. Kurt, a personal, well spoke, younger guy understood my goals and limitations. He helped talk me through each of the two vehicles and I eventually settled on one. He even allowed me to go get lunch with the one I chose. While there was a financing and a trade in valuation challenge and it looked like the deal wouldn't go through, Kurt worked very hard behind the scenes,. Later that evening, I received a call from Kurt and agreed a deal. I was very relieved he worked so hard for me. Then, the next day, while driving to turn my truck in, my alternator went out! i was just two miles away and pulled to the side of the road. Kurt told me to have my vehicle towed to the mechanics shop next door to them and i did. They took care of me quickly and professionally as well. After my truck was repaired, I was concerned that the terms of the deal I had made with Kurt had changed. Kurt assured me that everything from the night before was still the same! Now, Kurt and Victory Motors really had me over a barrel and could have taken advantage of me and reduced the amount they would give me for my trade. But they didn't! They kept their word. The transaction was smooth and exactly as stated. I also called Kurt's supervisor, Allen, over and told Allen what a gem he had in Kurt! Allen then went to Kurt and shook his hand and thanked him for his service to the company. This was very classy of Allen! I highly recommend Victory Motors an Kurt Jalbert and if you want a great, no pressure, gentlemen's deal, this is the place for you. Forget the big name brand name dealers, I've been to all of them but have found my car guy - Kurt Jalbert at Victory Motors in Longmont.

Very good

We bought a Volvo about a month ago. We were just looking as we knew we were going to have to upgrade our car to a better one. Nick helped us out for about 2 hours, he was super patient and let us test drive any car we wanted to. He was never pushed us to commit and he let us made the decision. I had a bad experience with other car dealers because they were pushy, liars and not relatable. Nick and Matt were super friendly and we felt like we could trust them, which is huge. We took the car to our mechanic and he was super impressed on the condition of the car. So yes, I recommend this place.

Great experience

I was very nervous about buying another car but Brian with his laid back non-pressured attitude made me feel very comfortable right away. I had received financing thru another credit union but Victory Motors was able to find me another credit union that brought my rate down 3 full points which helped me get into the car at a monthly amount I could afford more easily. They did everything they could to help me get the car I wanted. I couldn't have been happier. I drove away that afternoon in the car I loved. Then 3 weeks later the battery went dead. I called Victory motors and spoke with Jessica and she said to get my car to a place where a new battery could be put in and they would pay for the new battery. I was in shock. The warranty on the car said, "as is". Jessica actually gave the sales person their credit card number and paid for my new battery. Not only did she pay for my new battery but she called a little later to make sure I made it home safely. She made me feel like I was family to them and they really cared about me. Another week went by and my "check engine" light kept coming on and then off. I had talked with Matt about it before. He said bring it in and we will check it out. They did twice and twice nothing was wrong. Jess their mechanic did everything he could to fix it but my car is 9 years old and even though he ran it through his computer, the code that was coming up was reading the same as my mechanics in Brighton, and meant nothing was serious/wrong. After speaking with Jess personally I could tell he was sincere when he said he had worked on my car as much as possible and could find nothing wrong with it, I believed him. It seems to be something that happens to a lot of cars but nothing that is serious. My car runs like a dream. I now trust all those I have come in contact with at Victory Motors and would buy another car from them and would recommend them to my family & friends. They are good people and will go the extra mile to help you. I don't know of anyone who would have paid for a new battery for me when the warranty said " as is". They did not have to do that, but they did. That says a lot to me. The fact that Matt did not charge me for either times his mechanic checked out my car also tells me that they care about their customers and stand behind their cars. Because of their loyalty toward me I am choosing to take my car to their mechanic for oil changes and any other work that may need to be done and will certainly buy my next car from Victory Motors. Thanks, MATT, JESSICA, BRIAN & JESS

Didn't even make it to the lot

Victory motors has had a posting of a "Subaru Impreza outback" posted for two weeks. However, no one could answer any questions of when it would be available. First "Rick" says it'll be available tomorrow. Call Rick tomorrow. It will not be available next week as detailing is backed up. Ok fine, I'll wait for the car I really want. Wait another week while missing other possible purchases hoping victory will come thru for me. Nope, called again after the week and am told the car is still not available and they don't know when it will be in. "Maybe another week is detailing is still backed up"...bad business practice and won't purchase from them for that reason.

Great dealer and a huge selection of vehicles

Great experience. Shop online, find the car, visit the dealership and check the vehicle out. Work out a deal, sign the papers, drive home. Brian Melton was very easy to work with. Laid back environment. I worked only with Brian the whole time and drove home that day with a great vehicle. Victory Motors in Longmont is worth the drive to get a used car or truck.

Wouldn't reccomend.....

Emailed that I was interested in a vehicle that they advertised and that I would be in town that weekend. I asked them to please confirm that the vehicle was still available. Needless to say, I received no response. I called the day that I said I would be in town and got no answer. Decided to stop by anyways to see what they had. Asked about whether they received my email and they said that they don't regularly check. Based on this experience I was not interested in looking at anything they had since this probably reflects their "after the sale" customer service.
