My first new car!
I just got a 2013 Kia Soul ! loaded here I love the car! I worked with David Gunn for a few months when i was waiting for my settlement to come in. He was really cool called me off and on maybe one time a week just to check in. David Gunn is a really good guy not pushy. He asked me what car i wanted and with what. he did not have the car i wanted so he went and got one that was a 100% what i wanted it. made me a really good deal on it as well. My wife and I went to Kearny Pearson Kia we were shopping to get the best deal we could. David Gunn was up front with us and offered us the best deal. We did not have to haggle over the price at all. Kearny Pearson Kia Lied to us, put in rebates that they could not hold up or keep there word on. Kearny Pearson Kia made is look as they were beating Team Kia but when it came down to it they were not even close to what David Gunn could do for us. If you live in San Diego and want to buy a Kia call David Gunn he will do everything he can for you to get you what you want and for what u want to pay for it.

Awful Experience
I had an awful experience when I visited Kia of El Cajon. To be honest, the sales associate was friendly and not pushy. However I came into the dealership with a open mind and would have purchased a car on the lot that day. Once the credit department got involved the situation turned into a joke. I was told that I had bad credit or hold on.... the guy said that maybe he was looking at somebody else's credit history. I explained that my credit score was indeed good and I asked him to go look at the right history. After waiting 15 minutes, he came back and said that I didn't have enough money to put down so he couldn't help. At this point he had no idea what I was willing to put down. He never even asked! I have experience the loan biz and it was clear that this guy had no clue what he was doing. I asked to speak with the manager of the loan department but was told "he's to busy". I walked out and will NEVER GO BACK. My plan was to purchase a car that day but after my horrible experience I decided that I'd buy from a dealership that actually wants to sell vehicles.

Games
Went in to purchase a new Soul, knew which car and had a check in hand. It took over 4 hours to complete this transaction. When the financing paperwork was given to me I noticed it had things I had not asked for, things I had already said I didn't want and things that I didn't know what they were. I got vague answers about the alarm system. The finance person pushed for the extended warranty and the alarm system. By the time I left their lot I was happy to leave and not come back. I did purchase a Soul from them and I hope I don't regret it.

Nick greeted me on the showroom floor as I had an...
Nick greeted me on the showroom floor as I had an appointment with him from a internet inquiry. I kind of knew what i wanted but his knowledge of the different trim levels sure helped me firm up my selection. It sure pays off dealing with someone that has been in the business as long as Nick has. They call him "The Kia Guy" and it sure showed. I will tell everyone about Nick and Team kia of El Cajon.

Clean, efficient, friendly
I drive from Clairmont to El Cajon because they are so much better than Kia of Kearny Mesa. Their prices are much better and their customer service is superb

Good honest dealership
Went in to see a used 2003 Chevrolet Suburban I had spotted on their internet site and met Ryan (our sales guy) and hopped on in for a test drive. Loved the vehicle super clean and runs excellent and also priced right. Worked up some numbers and Gerald and Ryan got me the payments I wanted and walked out with keys to the Suburban! The dealership was then closed when we finally completed the paperwork, and many thanks to Ryan for driving the Suburban to my house (as I had my other car with me and no means of taking two cars home by myself) and I then dropped him off at the dealer so he can call it a day. I had a very high interest rate on the first contract I had signed, but three days later Jorge from the finance department had been trying to get in touch with me and I thought, "here we go, they want the Suburban back cause of my bad credit history and no bank wants to finance me". I finally went back in and Jorge (finance) got me a great interest rate (for my credit rating) and even a cheaper monthly payment! Good Honest Dealership that is hard to come by ANYWHERE. Thank you TEAM KIA OF EL CAJON for getting me my dream truck/SUV at a very good price!

Two huge problems happened with my purchase... First of...
Two huge problems happened with my purchase... First of all, the deal that was ironed out was not the deal typed up in the contract, and when brought up to the finance guy, they told me to take what was written or they would hike up my interest rate. Second, they added a third party warranty to my contract which cost 2,500. Throughout the whole transaction, they told me the car had a warranty included. Huge difference between included and we're going to secretly charge 2,500 and hope you don't find out. It's been three months since I bought my car and I'm still waiting for them to refund me those $2,500 and when I call, the person in charge of the refund is busy, away, or incapable or returning messages left for him/her.

SERVICE ALWAYS RELIABLE, FAST, PROFESSIONAL
I started out taking my Saturn to this dealership before Kia took it over. But I stayed with them thru the change so I've been taking my car there for service and repairs for atleast 8 years now. I have ALWAYS received the best service. I tried a small, local mechanic a couple of times and found out the hard way that the best service AND PRICE was right back where I always go - Kia of El Cajon. Check this out - the other day both my tail-lights were out. I took the car in and within 15 minutes I had both lights replaced and a free car wash for $8.70! I doubt I could have bought the bulbs myself for that price! Or got the car washed! Jessica runs a tight ship, and everyone is always friendly to my dog Bowie. These folks know their stuff and are really good people. I've never taken the time to write anyone a review before, but these folks deserve it.

Great service, friendly staff, beautiful facility
Went in for oil change, had called before, Mike estimated 45 minutes once on rack. came in, was served immediately by technician Diego, who worked on my car. Service advisor Jessica wrote up my ticket. Diego did a great job on vehicle, checked various items. I had mentioned a loose plastic grill on front of car, Diego and another tech were able to reattach quickly. Service was completed within time frame offered. All the employees I dealt with were very friendly. The updated store looks wonderful. I have always been happy with previous visits as well.
