I located the car through Cars.com. I made a few phone inquiries and decided to make the trip from North Carolina and purchase the car. Hampstead had everything ready for me when I arrived. I am pleased with the car and the service I received.

Purchased a 2008 Lexus RX400h for $16K, it broke down within miles of leaving the lot. Bernadette the sales rep didn’t returned my texts or calls, and I was stranded on the road side for hours. She returned my calls and texts immediately however when communicating about the purchase of said Lexus and a Corvette, that I thankfully decided to pass on because it was likely a lemon too. You walk into this place and there are flies everywhere and no one even speaks to you to ask if you need assistance. They refused to return my money despite them selling me a lemon that broke down immediately after purchase. Then I was forced to purchased another car and they acted like they did me a favor by taking $700 off of the overpriced retail price. Anyone off of the street could haggle that! Worked with the General Manager on it and was told they drive the cars home and use them for personal use to ensure the cars work, i.e. they run up mileage on the cars and clearly do not check to ensure the cars work. He treated me like he was doing me a favor when I was stuck buying a car from them because they refused to refund my money. Completely presumptuous and did not care anything about the drama I experienced with the purchase. Hands down not client/customer-oriented. Do not recommend buying anything in this place. Completely condescending and unprofessional back of the woods operation. Thankfully I wasn’t financing as I’m sure they prey on people and charge astronomical interest rates. I had initially thought I found a great dealership to purchase pre-owned vehicles but after this experience I wouldn’t buy a pencil from them. THE PRICE MAY INITIALLY SEEM REASONABLE BUT THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND ETHICS ISN'T WORTH IT OR THE DRIVE TO WESTERN BUBBLEFUC-!

We had a great experience buying my son a used car. It was great just being able to walk around and open doors and get inside any car. Prices were clearly marked on each car. We asked to drive several cars a found the perfect car. The staff was very helpful and we never felt rushed or pressured in any way.

I know how frustrating buying a car from a dealership can be. Dealerships who are high pressure, selling over priced cars and the old bait and switch. Salespeople who either ignore you or are too pushy. I worked with salesperson Sierra for about 2 weeks before we actually went to look at cars. She also worked with us to get financing for my son who had no credit history yet. She was so patient with us as we went through the process. We drove over an hour to visit this dealership and it was well worth it. Sierra was bright and cheery to work with and boy she knew her cars. All the cars that were on the website that we wanted to look at were there at the dealership. We were originally looking Honda Civics but Sierra mentioned she had a really nice Toyota Corolla available which is what we ended up getting. The car was listed about $1,100.00 under the CarFax value, so there was no need to haggle! The car was in great shape with no additional work needed. They give you the CarFax Report with the car so we knew the car's value and that the car had no accidents and was well maintained. We then went through the finance process with Finance Manager Patrick who was very helpful and worked with us to make financing the car as easy as possible. When we are in the market for another used car we will definitely go back to Hampstead Pre-Owned!

We hate car shopping, but Hampstead was such a good experience. We purchased a '99 Toyota Sienna from them with only 58,000 miles. Buying such an old car was scary but when we saw all the things that Hampstead was willing to cover we decided to take the risk. The car looks and drives like it was kept in a time capsule for us. We had to drive an hour to get there as we found them on Cars.com . The hour drive was very worth our time. We couldn't be more delighted with our purchase. And we understand why Hampstead gets such high ratings. They keep checking in with us to make sure everything is ok.

Hampstead Preowned offered me a positive organized buying experience. You will feel like family here. They have trained staff for every part of the buying process, which gave me confidence in my purchase. The sales, finance and service departments educated me regarding buying options with no pressure. I felt it was important to them that I left happy, satisfied with my purchase. The owner asked me about my purchase experience and encouraged me to call if I had any concerns after my purchase. I traveled over 50 miles to purchase my car based on the reviews and I will do it again when I need another car. I highly recommend this dealership.
