Hampstead Pre-Owned

Just bought a 2005 Camry with less than 60k for my wife and I can say w/o hesitation I've never, in all my 64 years, had a better car buying experience. And she loves the car. I live in Catonsville, but after checking them out online and seeing their great reviews I decided to drive out and have a look since there was a Camry I was interested in. After a walk around the lot on my own they gave me the keys to the car I was interested in so I could check it out and drive it. They also told me, prior to driving it out of the lot, what needed to be done before they would deliver it! When I got back, and said I was interested in buying it, they asked if there was anything else I thought was needed to be done. They made a list of all items and gave me a copy that promised they would take care of everything before I picked it up. The owner even added an item to the list of his own, to repair some scratches on the front bumper that I hadn't mentioned. His explanation was "If i'm going to sell you a car with only 60 thousand miles on it I want it to look like a car with just 60k." Sold. And the price was great. Now, my only problem is i'm thinking of buying another car for myself because it was such a great experience..

We had to buy my daughter a car to drive to college in two weeks because her old car could not make the trip. Anthony and Shawn suggested a great Ford Escape on their lot and sped up the sale. They made certain that the car had all the necessary maintenance. I know my daughter is safe when she drives the 5 hours to college. I will definitely go to Hampstead Pre-owned the next time I need a used car Thank you!

What an easy and great buying experience. Anthony (Owner) and Shaun (Salesman) went above and beyond making sure this car was in outstanding operating condition. It was great. They were very kind and helpful. They took a lot of time, making sure I understood everything. What is great is they are going to deliver the car to me in Elkridge. They also are taking of any problems that may occur.

I wanted to write about an experience I had at Hamstead Pre-owned, I needed to have my used 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT, V-8 Magnum looked at for a minor issue. I love the truck the way it drives, just everything about it. My addiction in life is cars & trucks. I purchased this truck and it had a problem so I took it to the Service Department and they found the problem to be with the fuel pump which they ordered and will install new. My point to all this is not only did I get the truck I wanted, with the most layed back approach to closing the deal, they have a great service department that is handling the problem (something no one could have predicted) in a timely, professional manner. The service department is clean with comfortable seating and has wi-fi available so I could work on my I-pad. The most important part is their knowledge of vehicles and ability to perform all types of repairs. They stand behind the products they sell and I am impressed with everything I have seen from Hamstead Pre-Owned. I will end up dealing with them for a long time to come. I truly cannot express how great they are there, and feel sorry for those who have not stopped by to check out their cars, and service department. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service I have recieved. Normally if you have a problem, that is when the hide from you, but not Hamstead Pre-Owned they stand behind what they sell !!!

I was shopping for a first car for my daughter and I definitely had a limited budget. I find car shopping onerous and not something that I was looking forward to doing. They let you browse and are definitely no pressure. We ended up with a small SUV for my daughter and had some problems with it - Anthony was willing to take it back. After some convincing by my boyfriend, we decided to buy another vehicle for my daughter there and got her a 2002 Jeep. It too is having a small issue, but I know that Anthony (and Ryan who by the way is great) will take care of it!! I agree with my boyfriend that small town shopping is the best!

I have been looking for a used truck that had the crew cab. I have two grandsons aged five and three and needed a bigger backseat for the carseats. Now we can go fishing and crabbing with their daddy, and don't need to take two vehicles. Anthony, Shane, and Ryan went above and beyond, yet with no pressure. They gave us all the information on the truck and waited while we got financing through my Credit Union. Their patience, honesty, and old-fashioned approach to business was refreshing. Quite a difference from the car dealers we have dealt with over the years. Thank you for caring about your customers. Supporting local businesses is what made America great.

My experience with Hampstead Preowned was the best experience I have ever had with a dealership. They treated me fairly and with respect. They are very family friendly and provide you with good quality products. I am extremely happy with the Honda Pilot I purchased from them today. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle but not looking to pay the high prices that the big dealers charge.
