It's pretty rare that I actually do reviews... but after my experience with Jim and Laura, I have no problem giving them a review. I was on my way home after deciding on a car with a different dealership when I called my wife at her office to let her know I found a car. Her first words were "my boss thinks you should run the deal past Jim O'Conner in Oconomowac" I had time, so I did. In less than 15 minutes, Jim and Laura were able to find me a newer model car with less mileage and at a better price. No pressure to buy at all, they just showed me what was honestly available - of course I bought the car from Jim and Laura. When I arrived to pick up the car, they had cleaned it, gave it an oil change, filled the tank and even moved the plates from my old car when I wasn't looking. Best buying experience ever.

I recently bought a car from Jim and had a great experience from start to finish. I was interested in a car that was about to be shipped off to auction, but he held it for me longer so I could check it out and test drive it. The whole staff was very pleasant and professional and provided a welcoming and comfortable environment to what can be an intimidating experience. They were very informative behind all their steps through the selling process and were sincere in looking out for the customer first. This was truly the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Great people. No pressure. No sitting in the dealership for hours waiting to finalize the transaction. You feel like part of the family by the time you are done. I stopped by one evening and told Jim that I might be interested in purchasing one of the vehicles on his lot. We talked about the car briefly and then got to know each other a bit. It was getting late and I told him I might stop by to take test drive over the weekend. He thanked me for the time, conversation and assured me that he was grateful whether or not I ended up making a purchase. I ended up coming back with my wife to take a test drive. Afterwards I spent about 10-15 minutes with Geoff going over the Carfax records and discussing what the bottom line would be for a very fair purchase price. There was no sitting in the chair waiting for him to come back from behind the wall with the sales manager to haggle over the price. From the other side of the sales room, Jim said, I checked my records and $#,### is what we can do. It just happened to be the number that was in my head. Therefore...No Haggle. Not wanting to make an impulse purchase, I told them I would have to sleep on it over the weekend. They told me if I ended up wanting it to just give them a call and they would hold it for me. I ended up calling them to hold it and have them check into financing. Laura was able to get me a better deal than my bank/Credit Union. I came in after work, signed the paperwork and drove it home 30 minutes later. The paperwork was done in 10, but I found myself wanting to stay longer just to get to know everyone better! This is truly a great family owned business. If you are in the market for a car, I encourage you to stop by. You will not be disappointed.

We were looking for a vehicle for our son who will be attending college in the fall. We were just in the looking mode but Jim wanted to sell the vehicle. He gave us a great deal and we drove the vehicle home that night. Laura was great to work with to finance the loan. Buying a car from Jim O'Connor Select Auto was an excellent experience, completely devoid of the stress that one would normally associate with such an event. Laura, Jim and Geoff are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all completely trustworthy. The car we purchased in October was the first car that I've bought, and Laura was incredibly patient and responsive to all of my many questions. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else, and would recommend them to anyone.

Looking for a car to by for me was a confusing situation. Lots of research and questioning of what I wanted and where to buy from. Once I contacted Jim O'Connor Select Auto and talked to Jim about a vehicle, things went great. He got me better financing than I could get even from my own bank ( sister is a loan officer). He provided the Carfax for my review. Any questions I had were answered quickly and honestly. The car looks and runs great. Very good price. While there Jim and Geoff treated my Dad, Brother In Law and myself with courtesy and were very friendly. Hopefully I won't have to buy another car in the near future, but when I do I know that a trip to Jim O'Connor Select Auto will be where I am going.

My fiance had a car that was having several issues. It was not a vehicle that Jim sold to her, but with all the problems we were having with her car, Jim called in several favors to help us remedy the problems with her car, again Jim had no reason to do any of this. He did not try to sell us a new car he helped us every way we asked him to. After time passed and the car became a huge liability my fiance and I decided to get her a newer car. Of course we bought the vehicle from Jim. There is not a better place to buy a vehicle from. I can?t promise that Jim and his team will do all they have done for me and my family, but they will treat you right and honestly. The customer service is second to none. Every time we do have a problem with our vehicles Jim and his team go far beyond the call of duty to help, from contacts to help fix the problem, handling logistics, to loaning out a car. Driving by Select Auto I noticed a car that luckily caught my eye. From the minute I made contact with the staff until my new purchase was completed I had a great, easy, experience with everyone at Select Auto. I had been looking for a new vehicle after some bad luck with my previous vehicle and no other dealers would even consider a trade. Select Auto not only gave me a generous trade in value but also offered me a really good price on the new car. The entire process was so relaxed and stress free, they even took care of finding great insurance as well. The whole facility is well maintained and extremely clean. My new/used vehicle was also detailed so well it was as good as new, which is what happens after any vehicle is serviced as well. I highly recommend Select Auto to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
