I am trying to write a review about Chantilly, but keep getting sent to the Fairfax Ourisman, so will review both. We first went to Fairfax Ourisman to attempt to buy a new Highlander because my husband bought a new Prius there previously and had a good experience. The first mistake was just dealing with a random sales person on the floor. He was very nice, test drove some cars with us and took note of the trim and color we wanted, said he'd call when they had a match in stock. He called when a matching vehicle arrived, we asked for a price, and he quoted us MSRP! We asked him to call back with a "real" price, and he said he would but didn't. Then another car came in, he called, I went to see the car, but it had already been sold. Called a third time, I went to see the car, but it was at the sister dealership, so after getting another quote of MSRP, he finally gave me a "real" price, which was only about a thousand below MSRP. So at that point, we were done with Ourisman in terms of buying the car. However, I will say that I have had my previous Toyota serviced at Ourisman, and will get the new car serviced there as well. The service department has been great - the employees go out of their way to schedule appointments that work for the customer, and they also almost always have the car ready on time or early, and the facilities for waiting in the service area are quite nice - TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, etc. Now, on to Chantilly Ourisman. They responded quickly to my request for a quote online. However, while slightly better pricing than I received from the sales floor at Fairfax, they were still $2,000 higher than the dealer where we ultimately bought the new car. When I told them they were too high, they said maybe they could match or beat the price, but I don't like to reward the dealers who quote high prices initially just because they might be willing to meet/beat someone else's price. My business will go to the dealer who gives the best pricing up front and doesn't make me jump through a lot of hoops just to get a fair price on the car.

Poor Management!
This is my second review, the first one was about how good of an experience I had dealing with Janet Tavara n Milenka and the great pricing I got from Ourisman Toyota. This one is about this gentelman named Fernando, he is some sort of a manager at the dealership. I seriously think he needs to look at the way he deals with a potential customer or may be take a Customer Service refresher course. He has no courteousy or professionalism. His " this is my price, buy it or leave it" attitude made us walk away from the dealership and if it wasn't for Janet we wouldve have never walked back into this dealership the next day. She even apologized on his part, insisted us to come back and made us feel welcome again.

Great customer service and awesome prices !
We recently bought a brand new Corolla from Ourisman Toyota. Initially inquired about some prices online and Janet, the internet Sales Manager who contacted me. She was extremely friendly over the phone with a good sense of humor while maintaining the professionalism and it was her first impression that made us stop shopping around and pay their dealership a visit. Even on our visit she didn't disappoint at all. Her service and dealing was excellent, pricing of the cars were great and the finance manager Milenka was extremely helpful too. A great experience in general and would definitely recommend Ourisman Fairfax Toyota and also the services of Janet Tavara.

Ourisman
We had a great experience at Ourisman Fairfax Toyota. Milenka was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to all of our questions. We went in specifically looking for a RAV4 2010 or newer. While there were a few options in the area, Ourisman had one of the best deals, and we were very happy with the car we walked away with!

Lack of Integrity & Professionalism
Ourisman Toyota tried to give me a "new Toyota Camry" which had cigarette ashes in it and scratches in the faux wood near the gear shift area. No integrity or professionalism at this dealership. On April 28, 2013, I recently went to buy a car for which the price had already been negotiated. I was told to allocate 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the process. (Given that I had a young child, I wanted to make sure I knew how long the process would take before we arrived at the dealership to sign the paperwork and pay for the car.) When we arrived, they told us the new car had to be cleaned. They had us sitting around for 30 minutes, before the customer service representative came to explain the owner manuals for 2013 Camry. Actually, that was a ruse. The representative's job was really to sell us add-on products such as leather protection, exterior protection etc. When I declined the products, the representative asked was it the price or the product. I said both. She went to her manager, and got a reduced price, because "it was the end of the month." I declined the service. Afterwards, we (my family and I) then had to wait to meet with the finance representative. Even though I wasn't financing the car with Toyota or through the dealer, the finance representative said I had to complete some of the paperwork in order to purchase the car, and to obtain the tags. Of course, the finance representative also tried to sell us add-on products (warranties costing from $2,500 to $1,600). After declining to purchase the warranties, the finance representative then asked for payment for the car. I said I wanted to see the vehicle first before buying it. We then returned and sat in the waiting area. After spending more than 1 hour and 30 minutes at the dealership, the car still wasn't ready for viewing. We told the sales person that we could come back in a hour. (We had a young children who was hungry.) When we returned for the car, they finally showed us the 2013 Toyota XLE Camry. They claimed it was ready to go. The car, which was a new car, was not very clean. In fact, the new car had cigarette ashes in it. The faux wood area near the gear shift had several scratches. We brought the scratches, and ashes to the salesperson's attention. She agreed that the car wasn't clean, and suggested that the cleaning staff did a poor job. She also noticed the scratches and got the general manager, Dan Doak. Doak looked at the car. He said that they would have the car cleaned again. He wasn't apologetic about the unclean car. (We also noted that the car's exterior had some marks on the hood, which may have been due to the adhesive from the plastic on the car during shipping.) We pointed out the scratches near the gear shift. Doak got scratch remover, and spent approximately 20 minutes trying to remove them. His efforts were not successful; some scratches still remained. Although the scratches were visible to our eyes, for whatever reason, Doak who wore glasses couldn't see the scratches. He then suggested that we return the next day so that they could repair the scratches. I asked for another car. Doak said that did not have one. But, he was willing to make the service team fix it. I told him I wasn't willing to purchase the car with these problems. I wanted a different "new" car; one without scratches and ashes. Doak told us that the dealership did not have this car. Ourisman got the car from another dealership. We then realized that Ourisman had lied to us. We were told that they had the car, and it was at the dealership when we arrived. They kept us waiting because they didn't have the car. The salesperson, Milenka, continued to give us the false impression that the car was there, when she knew it wasn't. I decided not to purchase the car, and asked for my paperwork back. Doak got the paperwork and shoved it to me. I said I should be happy with the price I got, "I got a good deal." I

Good Price
I came after closing. Milenka Barry stopped in the parking lot on her way home to take the time to talk to me about the car, gave me her number and arranged for me to come purchase the next night. She also allowed me to communicate while I was at work the next day via text msg (to make sure the car wasn't sold before I arrived). Allowing potential customers to text msg is great. During my car buying process, I've had a lot of dealers call me at work, on my cell, etc....and its really annoying when you are trying to work. So its great that a quick text was all I needed to do. The process was smooth & relatively quick for a car purchase, and the price was entirely fair. I had done EXTENSIVE research on prices and trim levels, so I know this was a fair deal - priced well to move a past model year off the lot. Basically, I got a new car for a large reduction off MSRP due to it being a past year model, yet it didn't have more than 30 test drive miles on it. So a good find. I drove about an hour to come to this dealer after researching prices all over MD, DE, VA, and PA. Although I couldn't get a further budge in the price (didn't think I could, but doesn't hurt to ask!), Milenka did throw in some all-weather car mats, which was nice, and like I said, the price was good to start with so I was happy. No one rushed me - and I am a methodical, slow decision maker who can tend to frustrate others! Yet they gave me plenty of time to test drive and knew a lot of the features on this complex trim level. Its impressive that a smaller dealership (no one there specializing in just one type of car) and a relatively new saleperson knew all of these features, considering that she has to sell a lot of different cars. Milenka even waited till 10:15 pm after the purchase to make sure I knew how to drive away, operate the GPS to get home, etc So after showing it to me in the test drive earlier in the day - she followed through later to make sure I understood. Both the finance guy and Milenka stayed about an hour and a half past closing to help me finish up the deal and I was thankful for that. The finance department does a hard sell on the extra warranty type stuff, and I was already stretching my spending limit to get the car, so I had to say no, no, and no thanks again. But overall, it was a good buying process considering that you are committing to a huge purchase and borrowing a big chunk of change.

Pofessional and Qualified Sales Reps
I contacted 4 Dealerships inquiring about buying a Toyota Avalon. I visited Ourisman first. I was so impressed with the sales reps and the dealership as a whole that I decided not to visit other dealers.Everyone was polite, courteous and honest. The internet sales rep was very professional and helpful. It was a truly memorable car buying experience
