For twenty years I have been buying cars from this company. Stephen has sold me six Cadillacs in that time and many other cars, for me, my wife, and our kids. If we have an issue, he fixes it, no questions asked. Often sending a truck to pick up and drop off the car. I just bought a beautiful Lexus last Friday from Stephens daughter Victoria. She was professional, kind, clear, and swift in the car sale and trade in. I cannot believe the little girl I have known for 20 years is now the top sales-woman. BRILLIANT. I could not have had a better experience. She is a natural and will be a force in business for many years. Thank you again for being the ONLY car dealership that I need and want. Derek Dempsey. Back in March I purchased a 2012 vw golf from mag auto. I drove 6.5 hours from Maine to look at this car, they knew I was willing to make a deal and drive home that day, I showed up right at opening, rear tire was flat, and there’s no oil on the dipstick. They said if we made a deal they would have Arlington auto do an oil change and fill the tire. Needless to say these were small problems, the rest of the car was great, and they were willing to take care of it so I bought the car. After waiting nearly 5 hours for my car to show back up for an oil change and filling the tire, I pulled out of the parking lot, and immediately the tire pressure light came on. I stoped at a gas station and filled it up. I made it home and decided to check the oil, no oil on the dipstick. And the filter looked way too xxxxty to only be 300 miles old. So needless to say I waited 5 hours for nothing. After getting home I realized I was not given the spare set of keys for the car. I had the 1 key I was given to go test drive the car. There were 2 more spare keys in the folder with the sales paper work, poppy took them out and set them on his desk and never gave them to me before I left, no big deal... called poppy the next day, he agreed to send the keys out to me through mail. After a few weeks I hadn’t received them and called again, he said he thought the got sent out but wasn’t sure because COVID had forced them to close and he couldn’t ask the worker that supposedly sent the keys to me, and said he’d call me back as soon as they reopened. Never got a call back... so I called them, asking where my keys were, they insisted they got sent out back in March. But could not tell me what address they sent them to, they just kept saying they sent them to the address on the paperwork. I still to this day do not have my spare keys, they refused to reimburse me for a new set, and told me it was not their responsibility to make sure I had my keys. I will say at first I was very pleased with the sale and the hospitality, but they sure put on a face, because once the sale is done they make no point to make things right. And Arlington auto seems to do shady work, at least that was the case with my car.

I Looked for a while at Different Dealers and Private...
I Looked for a while at Different Dealers and Private Sellers for a Quality Used Truck, When I Arrived at MAG Auto in Poughkeepsie, I was met with a Polite Staff, No Pressure and an Honest Family Atmosphere. The Truck was top Quality for the Price, The Staff took Care of ALL Paperwork from Soup to Nuts and I drove Off in Less than an Hour. MAG Auto Corp, now selling lemons!
Bought a used car from Mag Auto Corp. After owning the car for less than a month and only putting roughly 1000 miles on it, the car started having issues. I brought the car to the manufacturer dealer to find that the cost for the multiple repairs that my car needed surpassed the amount I had initially bought the car for, along with discovering that the car should not have legally passed inspection. Will never do business with MAG again and will advise everyone I know against doing business with them as well.

Every vehicle we sell comes with at least a 30 day 1000 mile New York State Lemon Law Warranty. That being said if we had been notified of the issues you were having and if they were occurring inside the parameters of the warranty were reasonably close we would have absolutely helped with whatever we could. I have checked with our General Manager as well as our Service Manager and neither one of them had gotten a call from any customers that fit this kind of complaint. Great Customer Service
We came to MAG Auto to find a car for our son. We had the pleasure of dealing with Drew who was great. We found a good starter car for him and Drew got everything worked out and him in the car as soon as he needed it. No pushy or high pressure sales. We are in the market for another car and will be back to do business with Drew again.

GO SEE ANDREW! (he is a Manager there)
I recently purchased a used pickup off of Andrew and his team at Mag auto highland, and mag in poughkeepsie. He gave me his direct cell number so i can contact him once even at 11:30 at night he was asleep! As a firefighter my schedule is very very tough, he explained to me that his brother was a member of the FDNY and perished in the line of duty and it was nothing but love. I now consider Andrew part of our family he met my wife and 3 kids, do NOT let the fact that he looks 17 years old! (sorry drew) but he has over a decade in the business and is a manager for a reason! I even saw him wiping my new truck down after he did all the paperwork with me he even screwed the license plates on himself! andrew is the epitome of what a young professsional should aspire to be like and i can see him being an owner of mag or even having a ford dealership himself one day. This review was promised to him months ago but the fact that he just texted me yesterday to "follow up" with me to make sure all is well with my truck just reminded about this review i had promised him when i took delivery of the truck. Andrew you are a gentleman a scholar and literally THE GREATEST PROFESSIONAL in a dealership i have ever come across in my 51 years on this earth buying all sorts of vehicles from used dealers to brand new showrooms andrew is hands down the best i've ever seen or dealth with. not only will i NEVER purchase ANY vehicle from ANYBODY else in the world but andrew, but i will send every single person I hear in the market to atleast give andrew the first shot at it bc if he doesnt have it he will get it! (i have to stop myself bc i can go on forever) Mag auto cherish andrew bc he truly is the greatest i've EVER did business with in my life and i am a nightmare of a customer! THANKS A MILLION ANDREW! Friendly, honest, reliable and helpful.
I always feel comfortable with the cat buying experience at this dealer. They are helpful finding a "good fit" car. They are relaxed and not at all high pressure. They expedite the process of getting from the decision to buy ti putting the car in the customer's hands.

Victoria was the John Wayne on her first day back. Very friendly wonderful smile and tried her hardest to get me going. The service here is amazing and they were honest and got things done.
