I received outstanding service with Thompson?s Buick GMC!!! It was so worth the 4 hour drive from where I live. Steven and Jesse worked so hard on getting me into my new Buick Encore when I didn?t think I had a chance at ever getting a new car. Eddie, Don, and the rest of the team when signing and driving were so amazing also. A very friendly and comfortable atmosphere everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with were so great. I have been recommending them to all my family and friends while showing off my new ride. It will definitely be my first choice when I look to buy another vehicle. (Also it was a great surprise birthday present since I was not expecting to be getting a New Car!)

Thompson's Auto & Truck Center was wonderful! My husband and I were looking for a new car and found that Thompson's had the one I'd been looking for. We called ahead and they gladly had it pulled to the front and ready to look at when we got there. Jimmy (the manager) and Don Newell (the salesman) were very friendly and knowledgable and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed. They answered all our questions and made the whole buying experience so pleasant. Much different than my past car buying experiences! They even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate! It's little touches like that that make all the difference at Thompson's! Also their showroom is beautiful! I would be happy to spend an hour waiting for an oil change in their beautiful waiting area with free snacks, soda and water! I live in Elk Grove and drove all the way to Placerville to buy my car at Thompson's. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!

While viewing Thompsons' GMC on line, I saw a 2018 GMC Truck that I wanted to see in person. I called the Dealership to make sure the truck was still for sale and spoke to Steven Conner who is a Salesman there. He informed me that the truck was still available and said he'd park it out of sight until I got there. The truck was everything that I was looking for, so the buying process began with an assessment of my trade-in. After a little bargaining, the purchase took place with a Happy Customer along with my wife. I would totally recommend contacting Steven Conner for a no pressure purchasing experience.

I recently purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra from Thompsons Buick and GMC. This would be my 3rd time buying from this local dealership and my family has purchased many cars from there as well. Thompson's always gives great customer service and a solid buying experience. You never get that forceful salesman vibe while being there. The truck that I (WE) agreed on ended up being sold the night before from a outside dealer. (no fault of Thompsons) but I didn't get exactly what I wanted. They did their best to make it right and find me a truck almost equal to what I was looking for and together we came to an agreement with some extras. I appreciate Kris, Jesse and Eddie for the great expierence and I will continue to buy my vehicles from them. Thanks Rob Pedro

I cant believe how much customer service I got. I wanted to buy a used back up truck for my business. This dealership spent so much time with me showing me all my options. They did not do the typical hard sale they really took there time with me. We did not buy on our first visit however we did buy 2 weeks later after doing our homework. This dealership was on point and no I have to say that this was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. I have bought 5 new vehicle in my life and I would go back to Thompsons in Placerville every time.
